Lockup, no, Stuka step behind, trip, and down to the mat for an armbar. Virus escapes to his own. Battle on the mat doesn’t go well. Hey, there are people with towels after all. Looks like Metalik II for Virus, and the técnico one is keeping himself hidden but appears to be Leono. Virus makes it to his knee, Stuka headscissors him from the mat, Virus stands all the way up, Stuka headscissors from his head but Virus knocks him away. Snap mare, kneeling surfboard. Stuka up to his feet, Virus' double armbar still on, using his head to apply the pressure to Stuka's back. Virus tightens up the armhooks to chicken wings, but Stuka rolls to escape. Virus off the ropes, into a Stuka flapjack, one two NO. Stuka ties up Virus' legs behind his legs, grabs the arms – this is a different way to get to a tapatía. Stuka switches to a facelock, and Virus gives. Well done.

2: Stuka right on Virus to start. Kick, whip, spinebuster, legdrop onto the leg, and yanking Virus’ leg back for a submission. Not quite yet. Stuka gets up, circles around, Virus, and drops a knee on to Virus' leg. The man has a plan. Virus yanked into the center of the ring, and Stuka stomps the bad left leg. Half crab on the left leg. Virus in trouble here, but he does turn it and crawl to the ropes. Crowd amused by a woman in the crowd, and so is the camera. Corner whip, Stuka charges in, Virus slide thru the rope sand out. Match 2: Mr. Niebla ©, Terrible, Texano vs Hijo del Fantasma, Máximo ©, Toscano
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 08/30/2011

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 11:49
Rating: ok, but got over well with the crowd.
Notes: Zach is with Mr. Niebla. The ring is surrounded by kids who want autographs. Terrible and Texano are wearing SubZero masks. Or maybe Electroshock ones. Toscano plays guitar to his own song. He's seen too many Tanahashi's matches. Refs are Samurai and Edgar.

1: Doble T jump Toscano & Máximo. Niebla shrugs and slaps Fantasma. Brawling beatdown. Niebla stands back and watches while the other two put Fantasma in a double tapatias, and then don’t really let go of it until a count is put on. Niebla finishes Toscano with a half crab. Before they've totally let go. Rudos go back to putting a double submission on Fantasma again, and don't seem that interested in letting go, but the refs aren't disqualifying them tonight, I guess. They finally let go to get their arms raised.

2: Beatdown goes on. Máximo is assaulted, but runs up to the middle rope on a corner whip. Niebla charges in, stops short of Máximo's backside, then rubs his face into it anyway. Niebla is WEIRD. Tiffany cracks up. Fantasma hits the phantom lariat on both of Doble T, Toscano dropkick Niebla out, teases a pescado, Niebla goes around the corner to escape, and Niebla runs into a Máximo plancha instead. Pins to finish it.

3: Toscano baits Terrible & Texano in to slapping and Running into each other. Tiffany's doing a good job as announcer here, and she's the biggest Toscano fan. Toscano gives Niebla the stop sign to remove his own shorts, and Niebla bites him on the backside. Niebla chops, Niebla dance, Toscano sends him out with the flying armdrag. Zacarias in and attacking Toscano from behind – but Toscano moves, Zacarias charges into the ropes and Toscano kicks him to the floor. Texano and Fantasma have a pose off, until Texano kicks Fantasma as he's trying to deshirt. Fantasma doesn't quite seem on the same page when Terrible and Texano come in, but leads them into kicking each other. All those times they hung around Hector Garza have really given Terrible & Texano the same bad aim. After they’re done, Niebla ambushed Fantasma with a clothesline, and teases a second dance, but he's all out of spit. Niebla waves for support, digs down, finds the spit, and catches it. Strong work form Mr. Niebla. Fantasma enziguris Niebla, who slides out on his stomach. Zacarias rushes Fantasma from behind and kicks him around. Fantasma can't believe this bird is doing this, but does the La Máscara kick when Zach hops. One more to go. Texano slaps Máximo around and pulled down his strap, but Máximo slaps back. More goofiness with Terrible and Texano until we get the big confrontation with Mr. Niebla. Crowd is into this more than they were the last match. Niebla is spitting, Máximo blocks all of his slaps, Niebla holds Máximo so they can do a couple dips and pose – and then keeps him there for a Terrible kick. Other técnicos come in and miss dropkicks Niebla retreats to the apron, other rudos whip, reversed, Doble T whipped into each other and kicked out. Toscano and Fantasma run – topes. Back to Niebla and Máximo to finish it. Niebla waves and walks around for support. Máximo blocks everything, goes for the kiss, has better thoughts and turns away, Niebla grabs him and kisses him, inside cradle one two three. Might have been a tights pull. Crowd doesn't even quite recognize that' the finish, not much of a reaction.
