Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 11:33
Rating: OK
Notes: Ref is Bestia Negra.

1: Pairs are Zayco/Trueno and Bengala/Camorra. Trueno is wearing a shirt, odd for him; perhaps he was cleared to return to the ring rather recently and hasn't been back in the gym yet. Bengala's outfit is very red. Second pair is a lot longer and better. Trueno and Zayco pick it up the second time thru, Zayco going out via springboard armdrag and Trueno following via rolling pescado. Camorra manages to knock down Bengala with back elbows and shoulderblocks, but he keep charging and is drop toe holded into a cradle for the pin. The ring mic is so loud – or the crowd is so quiet – you can actually hear the Trueno countout.

2: Bengala and Camorra evade for a bit, until Bengala pulls out a roll up facecrusher. That's different. Zayco elbow drops Trueno and slaps him hard. Corner whip into Camorra's boots. Trueno manages to take in Bengala, but the rudos are over him. Running kick to the shoulder. Flashy elbow drop from Zayco. Double boot for him. Trueno slapped around. Corner clotheslines. Rudos finish up.

3: Rudos still on the beatdown. Double clothesline for Trueno. Trueno's legs are split. Bengala held for shots, until Camorra accidentally slapping Zayco out of the ring. Trueno in with a springboard plancha on Camorra. Double clothesline by the técnicos misses, Camorra points to his head, then turns into a double chop. Zayco back in, his double clothesline missed, double backdrop by the técnicos. Bengala rolls Zayco over, Trueno top rope quebrdada, one two three. Bengala submits Camorra, and we're done.

Match 2: Goya Kong, Marcela, Ray vs Amapola, La Seductora, Mima Shimoda

Winner: técnicas
Match Time: 11:13
Rating: good
Notes: Ref is Tigre Hispano.

1: Seductora is unhappy to start with Goya. Seductora also appears to have grown a tail. Goya northern lights suplexes's Seductora, and rolls thru Seductora’s headscissors cradle for her own pin. Casadora armdrag improbable rolls Goya Kong over, and Goya chases Seductora out just by rolling. Marcela and Amapola are next, dueling complicated cradles. Marcela slips on an escape spot, thou comes back nicely with a springboard headscissors. Amapola escape the double underhook, Marcela dropkicks her in the knee and drops a running double knee. That was painful looking. Amapola rolls out before taking more. Ray rushes in, actually slipping while running the ropes in her first bit (oho no) but, getting up and keeping. Cartwheel, back with a headscissors. Mima crawls away to the corner., and Ray follows with handspring back press. Ray is Japanese, so the announcers decide she's a martial artist. I guess she may be, I don't really know. Mia takes down Ray and axe kicks her on the top of the head. Stomp tot he top of the head. Mia lifts Ray up, Ray breaks free for a spinning heel kick. Off the ropes, Mai cuts her off with a kick, ma charges, Ray trips her up on the ropes. 619 lands; I think the fans are too surprised to boo. Or they're just not here, possible. Ray drags Mima in position and head up, but Mima slaps her from behind and throws her down in the corner. Mima is not working like she does with the Mexicans, and that's a good thing. Mima up top, Ray knocks her off with a swinging wheel kick, neat. Mima goes to the floor, and Ray follows with an apron handspring plancha, I guess. I'm not exactly sure what to call it. Other four in. Rudas send Marcela to the ropes, but Goya lifts her to safety, and Marcela jump off Mia's back for a missile dropkick. Submissions for the win. I would think Amapola's the captain, but Tigre Hispano counts both.

2: Match has actually started before they get back to showing it. Goya gets Seductora with a springboard armdrag, puts up the stop sign to dance, and then stops Seductora by just standing there and letting Seductora run in to her. Hipcheck sends the rudas out. Mima and Ray back in., for a second, before Mima gets in a cheap kick and starts the beatdown. Do all the Brazos just stand on the apron and watch while their teammates are getting beat This seems to be a family thing. Triple boot to Ray, who's still getting the hang of the rolling bump thing. She's held for more kicks, then laid on the middle rope so Amapola can dropkick her out. That was rough. Rudas work over both the others – Mima missile dropkick to Marcela sends her to the apron. While the others hold Goya, Seductora runs to the far corner, climbs up, slips to the apron, crowd holler, Seductora climbs back up – silla. Double dropkick spot on Goya is badly timed, Goya dropkicking way too late. Amapola helps Seductora to the top rope, and she even walks the ropes for a plancha. That's neat. Marcela and Ray back in, and beat quickly.

3: Beatdown still on. Goya's stretch around the ropes, and used as something to throw Marcela into. Corner whip for Goya, corner hipchecks by Seductora and Mima, and Amapola spins her and throws Goya down by her head. Ray is struck down by a double clothesline and a double boot. Amapola throws Ray out. Goya brought back in for corner whips, but this time she squashes Mima, ducks the other two, and knocks down all three with a clothesline. Ray flies a long way to land a splash on all the rudas, Marcela adds her own top rope splash, and Goya falls on backwards for the pin. One two there

Match 3: Ángel de Plata, Metal Blanco, Palacio Negro vs Cancerbero, Nosferatu, Raziel
Arena Mexico, 09/27/2011

  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 13:59
Rating: good
Notes: Match 320 in a series of 1451. Ref is Terror Chino.

1: Pairs are Plata/Raziel, Palacio/Cancerbero, and Metal/Nosferatu. Someone did not like Metal today. First are more complex and highflying than they'd be expected to be for opening exchanges. Blanco struggles with a front flip as he comes in, but ends up with a beautiful walk the ropes double jump headscissors to send Nosferatu. Blanco and Raziel low a rebound hiptoss – or maybe something else, because it wasn't so close. Things improve thru the other guys, then Nosferatu attempts to clothesline Plata in the back of the head and Plata ducks out of the way to save his head. It does not look good. Rudos do end up taking turns running over Plata. Toss into a powerbomb finishes him. Cancerbero manages to hold Palacio Negro in a cristo while holding Metal Blanco in an Indian deathlock for the neat one man double submission.

2: Rudos hold the ring. Palacio takes one punch to the midsection and crumbles. Raziel's inverted side slam does not look so impressive. Corner charges include Nosferatu just enveloping Palacio. Double armbar/leg grab on Metal sets up a Cancerbero dropkick. Some video problems led us to the comeback – very much booed by the crowd. GDL duo send the big men out and follow with top rope Asai moonsaults. Plata takes care of Raziel with his hold, though the announcers may not exactly know what that hold is. (They've got the trademark holds of the Angels confused.)

3: Plata strips before taking on Raziel. Plata runs over the rudo with a shoulderblock, off the ropes evasion, Raziel drops down too soon and Plata kicks him. Corner whip, Plata jumps to the second rope, kicks Raziel down, and jumps around to a quebrada for two. Plata springboard headscissors sends Raziel out. Plata's springboard flip pose is booed. Crowd is restless. Cancerbero wants a handshake from Palacio negro. Negro runs instead. Evasion, Palacio Negro handwalks baffles Cancerbero, and a spinning headscissors sends Cancerbero out. Palacio Negro rolls to the ropes, backflip over them to the floor, evades Cancerberos, and headscissors him out there. That turned the crowd in his favor. Metal springboards in to face Nosferatu, who slows thing down with a boot. Shot to the chest. Whip, Metal Blanca rana, Raziel breaks up the pin. Plata with a plancha on Raziel, Cancerbero pulls him down and both Cancerberos stomps. Nosferatu needs to catch his breath. Plata ends up bodyscisisors Raziel to the floor, fight off Cancerbero and landing an Asai moonsault on Raziel. Other four in, rudos tossing around the técnicos for a moment. Técnicos avoid corner charges and drop their rivals near the corners, and finish it off.

Match 4: Blue Panther, Super Porky, Toscano vs Ephesto, Euforia, Vangelis
Arena Mexico, 09/27/2011

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos
Match Time: 14:41
Rating: not good
Notes: Ref is Terror Chino.

1: Match ups are Toscano/Euforia, Panther/Ephesto (captains), and Porky/Vangelis. Middle one is the most active, with Panther working hard to get out of a headscissors. Vangelis surprises Porky with a loud kick to start the beatdown. Panther takes the Vangelis spear thru the ropes, while Toscano loiters nearby, unaware of the spot he's getting in the way of. Ephesto backbreaker/legdrop combo is a kneedrop this reason for whatever reason. Porky back in, double suplex shakes the camera. Ephesto adds an unneeded senton for the pin.

2: Porky slapped around. Toscano slapped around. Porky slapped around some more. Porky sidesteps the corner charge to start the comeback, técnicos set up the rudos, Porky land the corner sit, rudos bails before the second sit, finishes all around.

3: Panther showcase includes Euforia taking the quick fujiwara armbar and Vangelis doing a lame spear the post spot. Panther does go mad on him, and Toscano has to settle him down before he swings at the fans, thought eh cameras miss all of this and the fans don’t' seem to care that much. Porky is in for the usual and not long. Toscano is last and gets to strip. Vangelis cheap shots him. Panther in – and teasing pulling his trunks I don't even understand. Euforia sends Panther out, Vangelis topples him. Euforia dropkicks Porky, but Porky bounces off the ropes and falls on Euforia. Vangelis pulls Porky out. Toscano and Ephesto in, Ephesto steps in to Toscano's rana, and that's it.

Match 5: Atlantis, Hijo del Fantasma, La Máscara vs Mr. Niebla, Último Guerrero, Volador Jr.
Arena Mexico, 09/27/2011

  1. técnicos

  2. técnicos

Winner: técnicos
Match Time: 5:09
Rating: eh
Notes: Entrances. Zach is with Niebla. Atlantis is last out, and Niebla's snuck up on the stage to attack him from behind. Ref is Tigre Hispano.

1: Rudos go for the masks. Good luck on that. UG trips Fantasma into the ropes, and Volador immediately lands the guillotine legdrop. Fantasma rolls out, and Volador grabs his leg as he's walking around. Niebla clotheslines Atlantis in the corner for the senton de la muerte. Fantasma take a drop toe hold and a legdrop. Flying sit for Mascara. Corner charges at Atlantis are counted – quebradora for Ultimo Guerrero, superkicks by the others. UG and Atlantis grab each other, and UG ends up with Atlantis’ mask – that's the DQ. Abrupt ending there. UG protests, as if Atlantis fed him the mask, but that didn't seem to happen.

2: Rudos are back in control again. Both UG and Niebla go after Atlantis' mask. Volador and the other two técnicos seem to have disappears Niebla and UG double boot Atlantis out. Everyone randomly goes to their corners and UG spins Fantasma out with a shoulderblock. Fantasma comes back with a middle rope headscissors. Volador shoulderblocks Fantasma repeatedly, but Fantasma hammers him with a loud enzugiri. Fantasma jump rolls to the ramp, but Niebla is right on him with a slap. Niebla catches his spit while chaos breaks out in the ring. Técnicos grab the rudos, Phantom Lariat lands on UG. UG rolls out, Máscara topes him. Atlantis scoops up Volador in the Altantida, but Niebla kicks him – foul. Volador covers, but Tigre Hispano breaks it up and raises Fantasma’s arm to award the DQ.

Niebla decides to takes Atlantis’ mask after the fact. Fantasma grabs Zacarias and spins him out for absolutely no reason. What a meanie. Niebla checks on his parrot friend, and Volador carries Zach on his shoulders to the back.
