Match 1: Astral vs Pequeño Warrior
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 06/21/2011
Pequeño Warrior German suplex X2 (2:53)
Winner: Pequeño Warrior
Match Time: 6:51
Rating: bad
Notes: I'm not sure why this is three falls, actually. Referee is Samurai.
1: Lots of holding people in armbars. Astral can back bend! (It's not really that exciting.) Two minutes in, and they're just getting to the zero trips, so that's the pace so far. Astral looks very tentative doing corner spots with Warrior, always waiting for the rudo to make his move before doing anything. Warrior can barely getting Astral up on German suplxes, but two straight does it. Picked up a lot in the last minute. Warrior sits on top of Astral after the fall for a bit, perhaps asking for a little help.
2: Warrior yanks Astral around without letting him off the mat. And now he does, choking him on the ropes so they both can see whatever's going on in the crowd. Corner clothesline. Another corner whip, Astral moves, then just wanders around. Running evasion spots includes Astral losing it on the a front flip and then doing some other stuff that's hard to identify. Casadora armdrag sends Warrior out – or so Astral thinks, stomping Warrior near the ropes when he stops there, only for Warrior to ignore it, stand up and just clothesline him. Astral falls over unconvincingly. This match has problems right now. Whip, clothesline turns into a fireman's drop, Astral's left Warrior too close to the ropes, rope flip moonsault mostly overshoots him but they pretend, one two three.
Astral stomps Warrior on the outside. Crowd shot. Warrior is choking Astral in the corner in the ring. Huh.
3: Astral backflips out of the corner for an escape, flipping run, headscissors almost hidden by horrible camera work, Astral tope gently hits his target. Both back in, Astrla flipped to the pron and backflip off there to avoid a punch for no reason. Warrior kicks Astral as he tries to come back in, then goes out to join him. Warrior tells the front row to clear rout, and...is ordered back in the ring by the ref. Huh. Headstand headscissors spot by Warrior isn't as good as when he did it earlier, but does set up a cradle for three. Hooray, it's over.
Match 2: Delta, Gallo, Magnus vs Euforia, Shigeo Okumura, Virus
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 06/21/2011
rudos
Winner: Rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 9:00
Rating: OK
Notes: Magnus has a non-CMLL camera guy following him to the ring. The reality show! I wonder if they gave him matches just so he'd have something for this show. Refs are Edgar (!) and Samurai, who's now wearing a ref camera headband (literally, a digital camera taped to a headband.) Gallito is out with Gallo.
1: The guy who's in the reality show goes 50/50 with Virus for a while, with the rudos getting involved when Magnus strays to close to their corner. Clip from Magnus holding Virus down to Euforia standing over Eufoira on the floor and Gallo holding his head in the ring. Huh. Rudos hold Gallo for Okumura to hit. Delta and Edgar get into a kicking argument over something random. Magnus takes corner charges and an inverted atomic drop by Magnus. Everyone piles on for the win. Delta tries charging the rudos, but gets dropped. Two man submission finishes him. I think Amapola is on this show, but she's barely talking compared to the other two.
2: Beatdown continues. Euforia tosses Magnus from the ramp in the ring, which should get him onto that TV show. I don’t think they've shown a shot from the ref cam, so that must be for the reality show too. Euforia unties Magnus' mask, but stops short of taking it off. Fans boo other fans for reasons we can't see (usual.) Triple Boot sends Gallo out, but the rudos turn to celebrate and turn back into a springboard missile dropkick. Okumura misses a clothesline on Delta and Magnus, they dropkick him out, and Gallo follows with a tope con giro. Cut to técnicos putting on submission for the win.
Gallo slaps Okumura around on the floor.
3: Gallo and Okumura start back off with slaps. Okumura trips Gallo up, runs the ropes and gets dropped by a dropkick to the knee. Corner whip, Okumura flips Gallo in the air, Gallo catches him with a headstand dropkick. Gallo drop toe holds Okumura on the ropes (clumsy) and Gallito sneaks in kicks. Okumura takes off after the mini rooster, big kick misses, and Gallo runs on and drops the rudo with a quebradora. Okumura crawls into the crowd to escape. Delta and Euforia in, Delta missing a dropkick, but semi-successfully giving Euforia quebradora. Delta dropkicks Euforia out and sets up for an Asai, but Virus kicks the ropes out from under him and Delta tumble to the floor. Rudos whip Magnus and clothesline him around. Gallo tries, and Okumura manages to wipe out his partners. Quebradora again. Hurracarrana reversed into a powerbomb, brainbuster one two three.
Okumura makes the title challenge after the match. Gallo accepts, but also wants mask vs hair if he win. Magnus seems to have disappeared.
Match 3: La Máscara ©, La Sombra, Máscara Dorada vs Felino, Atlantis © , Rey Bucanero
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 07/05/2011
rudos
Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 8:53
Rating: good
Notes: Felino dances his way to the ring. Rey Bucanero is wearing his new belt. Both have the reality show camera guy trailing them. Atlantis is replacing Garza, I think. Dorada has his old music. Rey Bucanero wants to rush Mascara for some reason. It scares all the edecanes off, but Sombra gets in the middle of it before Bucanero can attack. Atlantis kicks Mascara down as he's announced as captain, but the rudos retreat to their corner and do not follow up.
1: Dorada & Felino start on the mat, in between some clips. Fast paced back and forth, neither man getting an advantage. Atlantis annoys Mascara again and runs away, and they end up with Sombra and Bucanero in instead. Crowd chants something at Rey, and the técnicos lead it on for a bit. Sombra is a bit too quick for Bucanero, but Bucanero is able to keep up for him for stretches. Mascara and Atlantis doesn't last long – headscissors, tope. Maybe Mascara just dislikes rudos who start with A. Técnicos calmly head towards their finishes, but the rudos escape and turn the tables – double armbar on Dorada, Bucanero Destroyer on Sombra is totally missed by the cameras. Referees check on Sombra after the fall.
2: Bucanero chases after the ring girl, as the rudos brawl with the técnicos all around. Someone tosses their drink at Rey, who is annoyed but doesn't dive into the crowd after them. Sombra, down on the ramp, gets handed a drink, and tosses it at Bucanero too. Bucanero is aghast! Rudos in no particular hurry here, beating everyone out of the ring and in no hurry to bring someone back in. Dorada finally back in, taking the flying sit. Mascara rolls under a double clothesline and dropkicks Atlantis out. Mascara jumps to the apron and sets up for an Asai (??), but Atlantis yanks him off the apron. Inside, Dorada planchas Felino, Rey sentons his partner trying to break it up, técnicos are successful in dumping the rudos this time and hitting their finishers
3: Sombra/Felino is Felino hitting the best dropkick counter to Sombra's flip yet. Springboard headscissors sends the rudo out. Bucanero immediately pulls Sombra in his triple back breaker elbow driver, then hits Dorada on the apron just to do more. Dorada gets knocked up the ramp, takes a breath, charges, and running springboards in with an armdrags. Springboards spot almost falls apart, but Dorada hold it together for a casadora armdrag. Atlantis kicks him out, and punches Atlantis with punches as he comes in. Whip, Máscara to the middle rope, kick back blocked and Mascara of with headscissors. Atlantis clothesline misses, and he stumbles into a superkick. Out he goes. Other rudos out via other técnicos springboard dropkicks. Triple dive – no, tope con giro by Dorada and Sombra, but Mascara holds up and chases Atlantis back in. Mascara's shirt off. Chest slap fight. Atlantis gets in a knee, Mascara dropkick to the shin, casita, Atlantis shoves him off, Mascara casadora into the campana, but Bucanero breaks it up. Sombra in and missing a dropkick. Felino sets up, with a slap, but Sombra ducks and Bucanero is knocked out of the ring. Dorada boost dropkick to send Felino out – more dives? They both run, roll, sling to the apron, and pull of Asai moonsaults, Dorada going one rope higher on his. Back to Atlantis and Mascara, Máscara landing the apron swing kick. Plancha connects, casadora, campana, Dorada and Sombra cut off the help, and Atlantis gives.
