Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 15:39
Rating: good
Notes: Camera zooms in on Nitro when Pierrothito is announced as captain. Right team, anyway. Ref is Rodolfo.

1: Nitro & Ultimo Dragoncito battle over wristlocks while Warrior hops around on the ramp for no particular reason. Nitro is totally unready for a Dragoncito headscissors spot, which looks so bad that it looks more like an enziguri. Dragoncito leads Nitro into a Bam Bam plancha, but Nitro comes back with a spear and some punches. Bam Bam is wearing white tights with claw marks in them; not sure if they're Pantera claw marks or Perro ones. He ducks a clothesline and slaps Nitro. Warrior is just not going to go to his corner at all during this match, is he? That area isn't on camera the whole match, I guess. Corner whip, reversed, Nitro catches Bam Bam's feet, spins him in the ropes, and pulls him into a backcracker. Tag to Pierrothito, for a slingshot senton con giro. Crowd happy to see him. Suplex, holding on, suplex, holding on, su-no, Bam Bam improbably reversed into a small package, one two no. Bam Bam headscissors. Pierrothito misses a clothesline, Bam Bam gets in the superkick. Whip, reversed, Pierrothito hits the corner when Bam Bam moves out of the way. Shockercito in with a springboard sunset flip Pierrothito rolls thru for a kick, Shocker ducks it, ducks a clothesline, and cradles Pierrothito for two. Shockercito sends Pierrothito out with a tricky headscissors, and Warrior finally gets in the match. Yelling. Shockercito headscissors, off the ropes, waved by, back with a flapjack into an armdrag. Shockercito tope just gets there, knocking Warrior over. Nitro up top – plancha onto Shockercito. Bam Bam ready now – Running tornillo breezes Nitro. Dragoncito and Pierrothito in, Dragoncito something gets screwed up, and Pierrothito just turns it into a a sort of slam. Pierrothito running senton misses, Dragoncito back, Toyota roll, one two three.

2: Pierrothito quickly blocks an armdrag, leaving Dragoncito on his shoulder, and Warrior smoothly adds a slingshot legdrop. Beatdown starts there. Warrior does a slingshot spinning elbow drop on Bam Bam while the other two are setting up a wheelbarrow frontcracker on Shockercito, then Warrior sneaks in a legdrop while the other two are having trouble with Bam Bam. Pierrothito lays on top of Bam Bam tho hold him down for an odd amount of time. They still have trouble with the técnico when he gets up, so they just slap him out of the ring. Corner charges for Dragoncito. Bam Bam brought back in and slapped around. Corner whip for him, but he flips Nitro to the apron and swing kicks him off there. Pierrothito charges, Bam Bam puts him on top, superkicks Warrior, climbs up with Pierrothito, slips and falls off the top rope to the apron, climbs back up again, and Warrior walks over to join them. Bam Bam sits on Pierrothito's shoulders, and Warrior 'ranas him off from all the way up there - a bit crazy. Nitro adds a top rope splash, one two three.

Dragoncito, the captain, rushes in. Warrior slams him, Nitro spins him for Pierrothito, and Pierrothito lands a middle rope splash for another pin.

3: Rudos still in control. Bam Bam is baited into a dropkick, whipped into a double boot, then stumbles back across the ring to fall out. Dragoncito jumps to the middle rope on his corner whip, sidesteps Nitro (pulled down by Bam Bam), and leaps over Warrior to headscissors Pierrothito. Warrior and Dragoncito pause, evade, and Warrior shows of his version of the headstand headscissors to send Dragoncito out. Warrior sets up for a dive, but Shockercito gets him with a middle rope headscissors. Nitro gets him with a dropkick, celebrates, and both he Bam Bam takes time before going after it. Bam Bam flipping urn,and out goes Nitro via headscissors. Nitro bails to evade the dive, and Bam Bam pulls up at the ropes. Pierrothito and Shockercito in, exchanging slaps. Pierrothito knocks Shockercito down, but he kips up, dropkicks him, and does the Shocker pose. Whip, reversed, Shockercito rolls under the drop down, wheelbarrow suplex escapes and Shockercito pulls out a casadora armdrag. Another neat headscissors sends Pierrothito out. Dragoncito and Warrior in, Warrior is the one flipping and rolling around until he gets to his pose, spinning armdrag sends him out. Dragoncito takes a look, Warrior fakes like he's going to stay then runs thru the crowd to avoid the dive. Pierrothito in, Dragoncito kicks him thru the ropes (Pierrothito slides thru slowly), Dragoncito sets up for the dive, Bam Bam pushes him out of the way (!!) and hits the Silver King dive first – but Pierrothito dodges (and Alexis almost gets nailed! - he dropped to the floor just in time.) Bam Bam lands on his feet and Pierrothito slaps him. Dragoncito sees his chance to crush Pierrothito and goes for the thru the ropes tope con giro, but Pierrothito moves and Bam Bam (and three people in first two rows) get crushed instead. Inside, Shockercito lands the plancha on Nitro, but Warrior scoops him up and powerbombs him in the corner. Pierrothito inverted bridging chinlock, Nitro dropkick, Shockercito is done. Either Rodolfo has forgotten who the captain is or the rudos trick him, because he calls it right there. Announcers do know who the captain is.

In between three breaks, announcers introduce the show.

Match 2: Sangre Azteca vs Raziel in a lightning match
Arena Mexico, 08/05/2011

Winner: Sangre Azteca
Match Time: 8:17
Rating: bleh
Notes: Bestia Negra is ref.

All on the mat for a while, a battle with neither man getting anything interesting for long. Oh, wait, bow and arrow by Sangre Azteca. Raziel grabs the ropes to get out. Sangre rides Raziel's back, and forces him into a cristo from there. Back into a cradle for two. Sangre gets Raziel in an Angelito too, but the crowd is getting restless after three minutes of mat wrestling. The two start slapping each other in the hold, and then gets up to do it more. Sangre off the ropes, caught into a fujiwara, trying to roll free, but just ending with it tightening it up more. Raziel nearly bridges into a pin, but Sangre pushes off him to get his shoulders off the ropes. Nearing the five minute mark, and the first whip of the match. Corner one, reveres, Sangre charges in, misses a dropkick, Raziel with a double springboard dropkick to the knee of his own. Half done. Sangre tries to get up, dropped right back down with a clotheslines. Whip, Raziel fireman's drop, Sangre sat up and dropkicked down. You know, Raziel can't be doing all these dropkicks because that's the only thing Sangre's got. Pumphandle faceslam! One two NO. Corner whip, Sangre puts on the breaks and elbow Raziel as he comes in. Sangre flips out over Raziel's kick, Raziel charges, clothesline misses, Raziel still shoulderblocks him, Sangre off the ropes with aw heel kick to send him out. Sangre up top – plancha is a little short but still gets enough of Raziel. Sangre is down holding his side. Both down recovering. Replay of the dive. Sangre in first, kicking Raziel, but Raziel turns the table with a turnbuckle smash. Springboard wheel kick from Raziel. One two NO. Armdrag one way, armdrag by the other. Raziel misses a dropkick, Sangre 'rana is blocked into a slow dropping powerbomb one two NO. Crowd is not in to this. Raziel yells, heads out, heads up slowly. Top rope plancha meets counter dropkick one two three. Yea. Wrong guy won.

Sangre's music really needs to skip the talking part when they play it after the match. Leo clearly hurries to the ramp to catch Sangre Azteca for an interview, but it's never shown.

Tania talks to Mr. Niebla about his Leyenda de Azul win. Mr. Niebla thanks everyone and talks about the main event.

Match 3: Dragón Rojo Jr., Mr. Niebla, Último Guerrero © vs Atlantis ©, Héctor Garza, La Máscara
Arena Mexico, 08/05/2011

  1. técnicos

  2. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-0)
Match Time: 8:22
Rating: okay
Notes: Mr. Niebla has new music. So weird. Zacarias merrily dances to the ring. Ultimo & Dragon Rojo attack on getting to the ring, Dragon Rojo going after Atlantis. Tirantes is ref.

1: Brawling beatdown. UG stays with Garza, and throws him into the announce desk. Rudos get together to toss Máscara into a Dragon Rojo missile dropkick. UG puts Garza in a Guerrero special, but the rudos keep stomping on him, and then pick up the stomping when they realize they're meant to be disqualified. And so they are.

Contest question 1: in what minute did Sangre Azteca beat Raziel?

2: Rudos still in control. Garza is limping as he's whipped around. Senton de la muerte for him. Dragon Rojo holds Atlantis down, though UG still hasn't done anything with him. Corner whip, Niebla slap. UG wanders over to where Dragon Rojo and Niebla are holding Atlantis down, grabs Atlantis, snap mares him over, and goes right for the mask. Whip, triple boot. Corner clotheslines and baseball slide dropkick for Mascara. Another corner whip right after, Mascara evades UG, headscissors for Niebla, kicked down by Dragon. Atlantis in, quebradora for Dragon Rojo. UG shoulderblocks Atlantis out, but Garza catches him with a clothesline, and then stops to remove his pants. Spine kicks by Garza, and he goes for Guerrero's mask. That's a tough one to rip, with only one eye hole, but Garza rips it out big enough that UG's face is blurred often the rest of the match. Corner whip, corner clothesline. Back to the mask, and then a standoff. UG kicks Garza into the corner, charges, knee bump to the outside, Garza quickly sets up for a clothesline and not so quickly actually does it. Other four all in, Atlantis knocks the rudos down for a Mascara plancha, then boost Mascara in to a dropkick on both. Rudos fall thru the ropes, Atlantis topes Dragon Rojo (catching his feet on the ropes in a major way and barely getting there, and Máscara does a top rope plancha onto Niebla.) Back to the captains, one of which is very blurry. UG misses a clothesline, Garza shoulderblocks, Garza runs to the corner, moonsault bodyblock one two three.

Break.

Hector Garza makes the title challenge. Ultimo Guerrero accepts, and tells Atlantis to decide which side he's on. Ultimo Guerrero talks a lot. Announcers wrap it up.
