Tania talks to Valiente about facing Pólvora. Tania notes Pólvora won Forjando un Idolo, and Valiente notes he kept his title over Pólvora not that long back. It's a great match – for the people!

Match 1: Valiente vs Pólvora in a lightning match

Quick to the mat, Valiente holding Pólvora in an elbow lock, then a variety of headlocks. Pólvora out to an armbar, Valiente escapes, and rolls over his back, and puts on a double armbar. Hipblock takeover, and Valiente holds Pólvora down with an armbar. Pólvora frees himself and outs on a legscissors. Valiente yanks Pólvora by the head, but Pólvora is not shaking loose. Valiente reverses into a cross armbreaker. Pólvora blocks the arm from being extended, then rolls it close to the ropes. Pólvora out into a what turns into a headlock, Valiente tries to escape and is armdrag down. Armbar. Valiente revers to an armbar on the mat. Valiente rolls Pólvora on his back, spinning him on the mat for two. Both up. Face off. Circle. Pólvora drop toe hold, forcing Valiente down, and putting on a back mocked choke – though Ruiz doesn't seem to be calling it. He's totally choking him there. Pólvora stands it up with it still applied, and Valiente protest, but gets no help. Valiente gets his own way out, into a legscissors. Just over three minutes in they're still battling on the mat. Pólvora trying, and trapping him in a triangle, but Valiente escapes and puts on a step over toe hold. Pólvora pulls himself and Valiente to the ropes to get free. Standoff, Pólvora shoves down Valiente, Valiente kips up and spins around. Valiente tells Pólvora to bring it. Pólvora off the ropes, over, quick turn, snap mare, Valiente rolls backwards for a headscissors, Pólvora himself him off and dropkicks him down. Stomps, and Pólvora his first moment to yell about rudos to the crowd. Crowd does not appreciate the yelling. Chest slap knocks Valiente down. Whip, big backdrop. Pólvora waiting for his chance. Match is five minutes in. Dropkick knocks Valiente down. Valiente picked up, but slapping back. Pólvora is staggered, but dropkicks Valiente down while he's trying to rally. Pólvora tells the crowd to calm down, but they're pretty calm. Kneelift spins Valiente to the mat. Corner whip, Pólvora charge, Valiente sidesteps and Pólvora this the post. Valiente full speed tope drives Pólvora into the second rope. People really didn't feel like moving out of the way there, and Pólvora lands all over them. Multiple replays. Pólvora needs help getting back up. Valiente in first and fired up, while Pólvora is still struggling to get to his feet. Valiente is all ready for him. Pólvora breaks the count, then steps back onto the apron. Valiente charges, but Pólvora chops him in the gut and smashes him into the turnbuckle. Pólvora up, but Valiente counts that with a super armdrag. Valiente jumps on top of Pólvora, one two NO. both guys catching their breath. Whip, reversed, Pólvora charge, Valiente drops him with a rope bounce faceslam, one two NO. Pólvora breathing very hard. Valiente off the ropes, 'rana caught into a powerbomb one two NO. Approaching the 8 minute mark, not much time left to win this one. Both guys looking like they're eight minus in. Pólvora chops Valiente down, Valiente back up, Pólvora sit down chokeslam, one two NO. Pólvora misses a clothesline, Valiente rolls him with a dropkick to the knee. 90 seconds to go. Valiente springboard, Pólvora counter dropkick, one two three. Aw.

Clock keeps going on the screen because – no one's paying attention to it? I guess. Pólvora celebrates a bit.

Notes: Metro is wearing his new black look. Monito is with Sagrado. Mima is with Okumura, but just to wave the flag. Referee is Bestia Negra.

1: Pairs are Virus/Stuka, Okumura/Metro, Misterioso/Sagrado, all pretty much for the técnicos. They're mentioning Sagrado's connection with Fray Tormenta a lot more than they used to be. Sagrado is quite too fast for Misterioso. Those two have a dramatic slap battle before Sagrado sends Misterioso out with a horrible headscissors. Slow speed tope is cut off by a Virus kick from the apron. Okumura yanks Metro around by his masks, but Metro still lands a slingshot splash on him. Virus elbows drops his partner trying to break it up, but Misterioso trips him up while running the ropes. Other rudos hanging Metro in the ropes, and Misterio holds him there while Virus gets the dropkick to the head. One two three. Stuka, held off before, manages to fight off the rudos for a moment, but Okumura finishes him with the layout reverse DDT.

2: Stuka takes corner charges, including the Misterioso nose slaps. Sagrado is held for some kicks. Double backdrop for him. Metro is whipped into Sagrado, and both end up outside on the ramp. That seems like a bad idea, rudo wise. Everyone pounds Stuka for a bit, but a double chop ends up hitting Misterioso. Rudos kick Stuka down, but Sagrado is boosted into a headscissors on Misterioso. Okumura boot shim down, Sagrado tries for a headscissors/armdrag deal but doesn't get high enough and they have to abort. Rudos eventually improvise an accidental clothesline to send Virus out. Stuka gets flipped to the apron for his Asai as Metro ode his apron dive, and the camera can only catch up with Metro's big move. Sagrado finishes Okumura, counting off the pin. Replays do catch Stuka's dive, but only in showing multiple angles of Metro's. Alexis picked a good place to hide out there.

Cartela: La Mascara hypes Arena Puebla.

3: Stuka takes out Misterioso, Okumura takes out Stuka, Metro takes out Okumura (dropkick and running corner back press), Virus takes out Metro, Sagrado starts take out Virus (top rope silla!) but Virus battles back. Dropkick to the head leads to a Virus near fall, but Sagrado reverses the pin into his own cradle fro two. Both end up on the top rope, Virus get the casadora superbomb again, Metro has to make the save. Okumura comes in for him, but gets another quebradora. Okumura drops down, Metro throws himself out, and Okumura follows with a tope con giro. Misterioso and Sagrado in, Misterioso catches him with a kick and loads him up – Gori Special. Stuka breaks up the pi before the rudo can cover. Whip, Misterioso springboard armdrag sends Stuka out. Misterioso runs, rolls, poses a bit, slingshots himself to the apron, and actually does the springboard tope con giro. Virus and Sagrado in, Virus miss a clothesline, Sagrado flips him with a clothesline of his own. Sagrado rags Virus in the corner, makes a cross motion, springboard moonsault comes up empty. Virus running to the face, half crab armbar and that's it.

Monito watches Virus pose. Not much for him to do today. Doctor checks on Metro.

Fans scream into the microphone.

Notes: Guerreros enter together. Averno has new music! That seems unnecessary. He enters the ring and stomps La Máscara right out of it. Brawl is on. Ref is Tirantes.

1: Averno slams Mascara into the post to take him out while the rudos take care of the other two. Mascara makes his weekly trip into the announce desk. Back into the ring to untie the mask on the top rope, though Averno has to take a break to yell at the back of Mascara's head for a bit. Rudos set up flying sit on Mascara, but he escapes and sets UG in it. Dragon Rojo gets nothing on the boost and ends up sort of coming down on la Mascara's head anyway, but the Guerreros go tumbling down. Mascara with a quebradora escape armdrag on Averno, and out with another top on him. Averno flips over the front row, into the second. Guerreors swarm Strongman, but corner whip is reversed and they both guys flying in. double clothesline, Rojo whipped out into a Máximo sit down powerbomb and Strongman finishes UG with a simple slam.

Dia del Aficionado: 07/05

2: Rudos can't do anything with Strong Man. Ultimo Guerrero very unhappy with the fans when they ask for more Strong Man chops. Chokeslam ends that run. Averno comes back in, and La Mascara is in to beat him. La Mascara gives the crowd a look and walks off. They end up with Máximo in instead. He goes thru Ultimo Guerrero and Dragon Rojo fast. Averno doesn’t ant any part of Máximo, but still gets headscissors out by him. Averno races in to jump Máximo while he's posing, Máscara comes in, Averno splits. UG in, headscissors of him, quebradora for Dragon Rojo. Rolling dropkick sends Dragon out, but Averno jumps Máscara from behind and stomps him out. Crowd boos Averno, always a small miracle. Averno poses for quite a while. They may be chant for him by now. Máscara recover for a bit, then comes back in with a swing kick and a tope rope headscissors. Averno out, Máscara tope con giro after him. Guerrero knocks down Máximo and kicks him out to the ramp. Strong Man comes after them, and they both kick the rope to crotch him. Back in, corner whip for Máximo, UG charge and takes the knee bump out. Camera totally misses Máximo kissing Dragon Rojo, and he follows out with plancha on UG. Dragon Rojo with a tope con giro after, surprisingly. UG, Máximo and Dragon Rojo together up, and Strong Man does his dive off the ramp to knock the pile down. Máscara in, taking off his shirt to deal with Averno. Off the ropes evasion, casadora, Averno shoves him off, Averno foul kick, Máscara blocks and catches it, waving his finger at Averno. Averno yanks his mask, and that's it. Tirantes puts his hands on his head, he has to call the DQ. Averno celebrates with the mask anyway.

Ultimo Guerrero and Averno walk off right away. Strong Man decided to slowly chase Dragon Rojo to give himself something to do, while Máximo checks on his cousin. Averno tells Mascara that he's only happy when causing Mascara pain. That's no good. Replays of the finish.
