Edecans/Father's day promo

Tania congratulates new champion Virus.

Match 1: Stuka Jr. vs Virus in a lightning match
Arena Mexico, 06/10/2011

Winner: Virus
Match Time: 6:42
Rating: okay
Notes: Stuka is wearing a chain link chain. I dunno. Virus has his belt. Stuka and Virus have a face off in the ramp, with Stuka pointing at the belt, but nothing comes of it. Looks like they've left thundersticks on the front few rows, many of which are empty. Ref is Babe Richard.

Early work leads into zero trips. That's the first two minutes. Virus traps Stuka in a half crab, which causes a lot of yelling but no submission. Stuka brought back up, flipping run, Virus not impressed. Both get hung up near the ropes, but work it out for a headlock shoulderblock. Stuka evades a Virus handspring elbow(!), charges,s gets flipped to the apron and elbows off, and Virus slides out after him. Stuka hook the arm, but Virus pulls off the ringpost armdrag to send Stuka rolling. After replays, they're both back in the ring. Virus rolls thru an inside cradle to lock on a double armbar. Stuka is stuck, but gets the ropes. Corner whip, Virus charges, Stuka moves, Virus spears the post. Stuka up top, Deadman's Plancha bounces off Virus on the way to the floor. Virus was kind of one step to the right too far to fully take the bowl. Stuka in first and celebrating, but Virus in after him. Stuka gets him with a dropkick. Slow setup to the Stuka STO, one two no. Chop fight goes Stuka's way with a kick. Running neckbreaker one two no. Stuka arguing the count, but it seems okay there. Stuka slams Virus in the center of the ring and head up, but Virus pops to his feet and slaps him. Superarmdrag, one two th-NO. This is more leisurely than I'd figured. Stuka with a kick tot he leg, reaches down or more, and Virus rolls him into an inverted facelock with some sort of trap Stuka yells and waves all his limbs and gives. Virus still takes his time letting go and Stuka's shoulder. is checked on by the doctor after the match.

CMLL Informa: Ultimo Guerrero defended his title again.

CMLL Cartela has an edecan talking about the Father's day, to promote the pictures promotion.

Tania talks to dancing Felino, who can hardly stop dancing to talk about his match.

Match 2: Máximo, Toscano ©, Valiente vs Ephesto, Felino, Mr. Niebla ©
Arena Mexico, 06/10/2011

  1. técnicos

  2. rudos
  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 13:13
Rating: Eh.
Notes: Monito is with Máximo. Zacarias is with Peste Negra, and Felino wears his mask to the ring. He's in his old gear, which especially odd since he was just in his garbage man outfit in the last interview.

1: Felino and Valiente start off for a short bit, with Valiente being all concussed after being caught going for a corner kip up escape and clotheslined by Felino. Toscano vs Ephesto is a fast bit of reversals, including like four standing switches off a waistlock. Máximo and Niebla of course end up together, though it seems clipped when they actually gets tarted. Máximo shoves Niebla out of the way of his own spit, and is disgusted by it being on the mat. Niebla is all angry about his spit being dropped and slaps Máximo hard in the chest. After screaming over it, Máximo of course asks for the slap to be directed elsewhere. Máximo ends up flipping Niebla to the apron instead and kissing him there. Valiente teases a dive, holds up because Niebla is in the right place, then gets caught in the ropes trying a corner tope. I don't know if maybe Zacarias accidentally clipped him – he didn't get out of that corner in time. Toscano gets Ephesto with a nice leaping 'rana as part of the finishes, and then everyone runs over to check on Valiente. He seems to be hurting, but not injured.

Replay Valiente just lifted the back of his legs on the way thru, pulling him down far too soon.

CMLL Informa: Rey Bucanero vs Hijo del Fantasma for the NWA LH title.

07/15 Guadalajara hype.

CMLL Cartela with Rey Escorpion

2: Rudos are well into a beatdown. Valiente is blown up by a Felino dropkick to the head. Rough match. Toscano is kicked and slapped. Máximo tries spinning kicks, fails. Niebla punches and slaps Máximo. Corner whip, Máximo dodges, Ephesto charges, walks past Niebla, kisses Felino, clothesline the other two. Toscano walks out of the ring to chase one guy as Máximo and Ephesto slowly brawl on the outside. Máximo slapping slamming Ephesto is something. Valiente seems unsure what he's supposed to do, and he's also limping here. Máximo grabs Zacarias, and Toscano accidentally pulls off his wig. Zacarias runs back to the safety of the rudo corner, and the match just stops. Toscano and Felino resume, Toscano takes care of him, Felino slaps him around and dances, spit is caught, Niebla turns around, Toscano runs past him and jump off the top for an armdrag. Pose and such. Máximo sexually harasses Ephesto for a bit, Ephesto traps him in the Ephesto Roll, Máximo kicks out in time. Felino helps out form outside so Ephesto can get in a cheap shot, comes in to slam Máximo himself, and lands the middle rope elbow drop. One two three. Huh. This felt like a two falls match, guess not.

Valiente in, but Ephesto cuts him down with a back elbow. Forearm to the back. Pose. Maximo is still on the apron, so Felino rushes in and dropkicks him hard to the floor. Valiene and Ephesto reverse whips, but Valiente is till ts sent into a Niebla takedown and a half crab. That's the fall. Ephesto gives Toscano the shoulderbreaker for good measure.

CMLL Informa: Amapola kept her title over Lluvia.

CMLL Cartela: Rush talks Puebla

3: Toscano/Niebla doesn't last long. Felino/Máximo should be next, but Felino insists on fighting Valiente, and the técnicos let this happen. Rudos gang up on Valiente, who's having trouble waking , but he ducks a double clothesline to dropkick one rudo out, and still somehow manages to hit the Valiente special out. I don't know HOW he did that. Maxim follows with his own tope, and Toscano and Felino are the last two left in. Felino grabs Toscano in a set up for the Reinera, but spins him around to the ground for a – submission facing away from the camera, not so helpful, but probably an armbar of some sort. That's it. Night of the killer submissions?

Edecans/Father's day promo

Stellar Moments:

It takes both Tania & Magadan to translate for Nakamura, who's speaking in English. Nakamura says some wrestlers are very good, but others are s[bleep]t. Hey, they know they're supposed to be bleeping things! Tania has a great reaction to this. Magadan tells Nakamura that Miguel says he's a “piece of cake”. Nakamura: “Bulls[bleep]t! Bulls[bleep]t!”

Match 3: La Máscara, La Sombra ©, Rush vs Averno ©, Mephisto, Shinsuke Nakamura
Arena Mexico, 06/10/2011

  1. técnicos

  2. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 10:14
Rating: eh
Notes: Mephisto enters by himself. Averno trails way behind him, wearing his robe and hood. Máscara attacks the much fatter than usual Averno, taking him down and causing his hood to fly off. “Averno” is quickly revealed to be Ephesto. I guess Inquisidor was busy! Maybe Mascara finds out too quick for this story, since Mascara realizes it, looks around for Averno, and has to keep attacking Ephesto. Averno waits for Máscara to be looking down at Ephesto, and runs him over with a big boot. Ref is Tirantes.

1: Ephesto walks out before he's thrown out, but the rudos still get the beatdown going. Averno goes after Mascara and his mask while the rudos hold of the other two. Mascara is thrown hard into the announce desk. Averno returns to the ring to help throw Rush around by his hair, then Mascara joins the ring to be kicked around a bunch. Rudos content to hit and pose. Rudo fans content to sing. Mascara escapes a double hiptoss, rudos accidentally chop down Averno, Nakamura kicks Mascara, Rush superkicks Nakamura, Mephisto kicks Rush, Sombra springboard headscissors Mephisto, Averno kicks Sombra, Mascara confronts Averno. Averno not happy about this. Clothesline misses, headscissors does not, Averno pulls the mask and stomps Máscara into the mat. Tirantes calls the DQ, he has no choice.

Averno keeps the mask, and knocks Mascara down when he tries to leave for another. Drink to the face.

2: Mascara still has not gotten a new mask when the next fall starts. Rudos beatdown still on, TV shows replays instead of the match and then sends it to other stuff.

CMLL Infroma: Naito returns

Edecans/Father's day promo

Beatdown continues. Triple powerbomb on Rush. Double flapjack and knee to the back for Sombra. Mascara is still not back. Double press slam into a high knee on Rush. La Máscara returns, ducks Nakamura's clothesline and get Mephisto with a headscissors. Averno is in the ring and slow to notice, but does just in time to eat a swing kick. Flying headscissors sends Averno out, and Máscara follows with a big tope. Other rudos dismiss Sombra and chop Rush, but whipping Rush to Sombra back fires. Sombra kicks them away, Rush missile dropkicks (takes a moment) and the rudos go out. Sombra up top – plancha, while Rush does a tope con giro. Back to Averno and Mascara. Máscara strips off his shirt. Spear! Punches! Tirantes pulls him off for using a closed fist. Máscara back to Averno, ducks the clothesline, snap mare, and going for the mask. Ephesto charges in the ring and attacks. Tirantes throws his hands up and lets it go, waiting until after the rudos rip off the match to award the DQ.

Mephisto rips up Mascara's a pants while he's at it. Técnicos try to help, are not much help.

Averno yells at the crowd to shut up, then tells him Mascara he's going to embarrass him in front of his family and the people.

Averno rants to Leo.

Next week plug, and announcers wrap up.
