The editing, as omnipresent as ever this week, is now cutting out all mentions of Cadena3. Only in the most obvious ways, cutting right as they're saying the word, but leaving in everything up to it.
Match 1: Astral ©, Fantasy, Shockercito vs Demus 3:16 ©, Pequeño Universo 2000, Pequeño Warrior
Arena Mexico, 05/31/2011
técnicos
Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 12:50
Rating: OK
Notes: Ref Is Maya. This is awkward. Demus has a white face mask with horns this week. I don't know.
1: Pairs are Fantasy/Universo, Astral/Demus, Shockercito/Warrior. Demus takes off his mask halfway thru his sequence, which caught my attention more than all of Fantasy/Universo. That actually starts his comeback, so good plan. Astral sends him out with a helicopter headscissors. Warrior/Shockercito includes Warrior messing with Shocker's hair and dueling stop signs. Shockercito escapes a press slam into a headscissors, and gets another headscissors to send Warrior out, then gets Demus with a triple rotation headscissors. Astral follows with a tornillo. Lots of spinning going on. Shockercito get the much bigger Warrior in a reinera, and Fantasy uses something like a cruz nipona to get the win.
2: Warrior is very distracted by the card girl. Warrior has a rubber chicken? Warrior swats Fantasy with the rubber chicken? I have no idea. Warrior does give the rubber chicken back to the fan, every nice of him. Demus continues beating up Fantasy, ignoring the chicken attack, until Fantasy kicks him on a charge, sort of front flips thru a reverse monkey flip, and then gets Demus with a headscissors. Eh. Fantasy does a flipping run with Universo then sends him out with and rag too. Fake dive pose, but Warrior's just standing there and waiting to dropkick him. Astral comes in pointing, and gets dropkicked from the side. Beatdown. Double rebound hiptoss for Astral. Giant swing for Shockercito, with Warrior holding on for not just one dropkick, but a second. Fantasy is held on the ropes for a dropkick to the apron from Warrior. Astral held up in a wheelbarrow, and dropkicked from both sides for the fall.
3: Beatdown continues. Local break interrupts. Back during the comeback, just in time to see Astral send out Universo with a tornillo armdrag, and Fantasy follow with a tornillo of his own. Astral tries to add his dive, but Demus pulls hi out. Warrior waits, waits, and finally does the guillotine legdrop. Took a while to set up, though we didn't see it. Back inside, Shockercito flattens Universo with a springboard plancha, but Demus takes him out with a spear. Rudos all hold him the técnicos and kicks him,a then ta talk him in the air. Double dropkick, try again so Universo can get the timing for a triple dropkick. That's it.
Warrior gets his arm raised while standing on Shockercito, then does push ups.

Match 2: Virus vs Fuego, Metal Blanco, Tiger Kid, Dragon Lee, Sensei, Super Halcon Jr., Pegasso in a cibernetico match and for the CMLL World Super Lightweight Championship and in a tournament semifinal match
Arena Mexico, 05/31/2011
Sensei-lock on Pegasso (8:25)
Winner: Virus
Match Time: 17:45
Rating: good match
Notes: Ref in the ring is Tiger Hispano.
Still not writing about the battle royal. It's edited up anyway.
Teams are
A: Sensei, Tiger Kid, Super Halcón Jr., Virus
B: Pegasso, Metal Blanco, Fuego, Dragon Lee
Fuego & Super Halcón are in to stop, but there's another big edit while they're on the mat. Sensei and Dragon Lee compare martial arts poses, and then do a Lockup and a headlock. I see! Dragon Lee has spent his time off getting skinnier. These two end up exchanging leg holds and kicks before tagging out. I don't think Sensei likes Dragon Lee. Metal Blanco and Tiger Kid are next, and it's all shiny Metal Blanco tossing Tiger around. Pegasso & Virus are last, and having some trouble with a flip spot (where Pegaso lands on his forehead.) Pegasso armdrags Virus, then gets up just in time to take a clothesline. Virus holds Pegasso down on the mat, Pegasso gets free just long enough to be pulled into an armbar. Chest bumping standoff to end it for them. Super Halcón rushing in to dropkick Dragon Lee. Corner whip, Halcón clothesline misses, Halcón dropkicks him anyway on the next pass. Springboard backflip dive tease gets boos.
Sensei back in, as is Fuego. Fuego does circling front rolls, Sensei does a spinning kick and pose. Fuego actually fights but throwing a dropkick. Chest slap by Fuego. Sensei turn it around and chops him. Corner whip, Fuego runs up the ropes, and down with a a flying armdrag. Sensei out, Fuego handspring dive tease. Tiger and Blanco back in. Crowd behind Tiger, which he appreciates. Blanco of the ropes, under, punch blocked, Blanco kicks Tiger and runs to the ropes, four bounce rope flip armdrag. Tiger Kid charges, Metal Blanco kicks him into the ropes, 619. Booed, as always. Springboard headscissors sends Tiger Kid to the ramp, but he runs up it before Blanco can do anymore. Blanco flips, poses. Pegasso and Virus in, avoidance until Pegasso lands an armdrag. Dropkick to the corner, charge, Virus flips him to the apron, Pegasso blocks the chop and headbutts Virus down. Pegasso slingshot rolls in, gets the wristlock, leap to the top rope and rope flips off them on armdrag. Virus out, Pegasso not faking – tope drives Virus into the front row. Halcón sets up, slows down, turns, and get bowled over by a Fuego plancha. That's a hard spot to do smoothly, Halcón didn't come close. Fuego waved by on a charge, then backflips over a charging Halcón. Tiger Kid in (??) and grabbing Fuego. Halcón charges, clothesline misses Fuego but Halcón holds up just in time. The temporary partners get it together and boot out Fuego, but Dragon lee and Blanco are in with springboard dropkicks. Dragon Lee and Metal Blanco taking turns landing bit top rope springboard moonsault to the floor. Sense in, and Pegasso flattens him with a top rope plancha for a pin,. One two no. Pegasso blocks a chop, and fireman's drops Sensei near the corner. Pegasso going up – flying nothing meets boots. Sensei quickly gets his Sensei-lock for the submission. One down.
Fuego & Virus in, Fuego rolls over Virus' back to armdrag him out, then chases him out. Virus slides back in, so Fuego gets back on the apron, slaps him away, and comes in with another springboard armdrag. Virus out the other wides, Fuego handsprings near the ropes, dances, and tags out. Dragon Lee and Super Halcón in, and avoiding each other. Halcón shoulderblocks Dragon Lee, flips out over him, Dragon Lee forgets to throw a clothesline but Halcón ducks it anyway. Halcón's jumping side kick looks awful, dropkick is too low but actually connects. Halcon acting rudo-ish. He pulls Lee up, but he and Lee exchange kicks to the side. Halcón catches one Dragon Lee kick, clotheslines him, and Dragon Lee is flipping before the arm is even near him. Corner whip, rebound leg lariat. One two- NO. Halcón gets up and looks at the main camera, Dragon Lee turns him around and slaps him. Whip, reversed, Dragon Lee headscissors is not much good. Dragon Lee knee lift, and Halcón is dumped in the middle of the ring, Dragon Lee up top – top rope elbow drop one two three.
Sensei in, clothesline misses but the kick exchange on. Dragon Lee runs, and is kicked right thru the ropes. Metal Blanco in, but caught in a reverse roll up one two NO. Sensei charges, right into a Metal Blanco kick, suplex, no, reversed into a small package, one two NO. Sensei drop toe hold, but Metal Blanco frantically crawls away before a submission can be put on. Sensei lights up Blanco with kicks, but Blanco kicks one kick (!), knocks him back with a jumping heels kick, and fireman's drops him in the middle of the ring. Metal Blanco up top – and local break. Let's just assume the top rope senton con giro here.
(Replay shows he did hit it, even though Sensei half rolled out of the way.)
Blanco is chasing around Tiger Kid as we return, whit Blanco rolling in to a Tiger Kid dropkick, face first.
Dragon Lee ambushes Tiger Kid with a flying elbow drop, fireman's drops him near the corner, and heads up. Oh no, he's going for it! Shooting star press eats knees! Tiger Kid covers, one two three.
Fuego springboard in and dropkicks Tiger Kid out, Virus in, and armdragged all over the place. Fuego gets him with a third, and stomps Virus a few times. Off the ropes, but Tiger Kid trips up Fuego and pulls him out. Blanco in with a springboard headscissors on Virus, and Virus out as Tiger Kid comes in. Superkick knocks Metal Blanco out the other way. Fuego in, and back elbowing Tiger Kid. Whip, clothesline misses, Tiger Kid springboard turning dropkick, one two NO. Chop fight doesn't last long. Tigre off the ropes, Fuego spinebuster, grabs the legs, and rolls into a STF! Fuego has a lot of new ways to win lately.
Fuego is fired up, but he tags out to Blanco. Virus in and dropkicked. Dropkick again, just as son as eh gets up. Blanco excited, going for a 'rana, getting it, one two NO. Crowd behind Virus because that's how the crowd is. Bodyscissors cradle by Blanco, sitting down to stay on top, one two NO. Metal Blanco looks very sweaty. Metal Blanco kick, scoop, having trouble keeping Virus up by slamming him down by the corner. Virus is breathing hard. Metal Blanco up top, 450 splash (!) misses, Virus moves out of the way, but Blanco rolls thru. Blanco off the ropes, into a Virus fireman's carry. Virus Stretch, that's it. Karla counts the one two three because – she's happy a rudo is winning, I bet.
Fuego and Virus face off. Chest slap fight. Virus switches up with the shoulderblock, Fuego nails him with a back elbow. Fuego takedown, out to the apron. Springboard senton con giro, Fuego gets up and runs back to the same ropes, quebrada, no one him. Virus okie roll, one two NO. Virus goes for a – maybe a casadora, but it doesn't quite work, but he scissors the leg and takes down Fuego anyway. Fuego gets back up enough to pin Virus, and Virus kicks out. That wasn't right, but they made it seem right. Whip, reversed, Fuego leaps over Virus, off the ropes himself, into a spinebuster. Fuego fights it, but Virus gets him up in the motocicleta – that's it.
Match 3: Sagrado ©, Sangre Azteca, Stuka Jr. vs Shigeo Okumura ©, Vangelis, Yoshihashi
Arena Mexico, 05/31/2011
técnicos
Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 11:03
Rating: bleh
Notes: Referee is Rodolfo Ruiz. Entrances are only shown in the preview. There's a person in the front row holding a poster with a big Nazi swastika on it – Vangelis thanks them at one point in the match. Mexico is weird.
1: Pairs are Okumura/Sangre, Yoshihashi/Sagrado, Vangelis/Stuka. I guess Okumura & Sagrado forgot they were feuding. Sangre mostly ties Okumura up, and Okumura mostly lays there. Yoshihashi and Sagrado teeter/totter over an armbar. Gosh, we're getting a lot of edits. Stuka/Vangelis features a cameraman sticking his own hand in front of the camera. And another edit! Vangelis charges into the post, and Stuka lands the deadman's plancha. Other four in, Japanese manage to knock the other two down and celebrate. They immediately get beat up in the corner. Técnicos whipped them, back to back, sweep out the legs, and do stereo low blow dropkicks. One two three. Quite the team there.
2: Local break wipes out the begging of the fall. Yoshihashi and Sangre are comparing reactions when they return. And then a clip to Sangre giving Yoshihashi a tornado DDT. Flying headscissors sends Vangelis out. Sangre tease the dive, but does his big spinning pose. Sagrado and Okumura in, Okumura gets in a float around DDT and dropkick to the head, but opts to go pose. That seemed like the beatdown cue, but Okumura misses a corner charge and gets a swing kick and a armdrag. Yoshihashi in, Yoshihashi headscissors. Vangelis in, Sagrado gets knocked up but gets up superkicking. Stuka in, Yoshi gives him the stop sign, Stuka is confused, and Yoshihashi eventually kicks him, and knocks the other two off the apron. That was odd, that's why we don’t' let him do that. Corner charges for Sangre, who eventually run into Stuka. Rudos have no obvious plan. More corner charges for Sangre, because they forget they did that. Sagrado running into a northern lights suplex does look pretty sweet. Okumura has some problem getting Stuka in position, but figures it out. Yoshihashi does his top rope senton con giro on Sangre Azteca, and then the announcer informs us that Sagrado was the captain. Great. Maybe tell the rudos?
3: Sagrado is checked by the doctor on the outside. Rudos go for corner charges on Sangre once again, Sangre moves and traps Okumura, Vangelis stands in the middle of the ring and looks at him, time stands still. I'm not sure Vangelis is waiting for Yoshihashi to do something – Sagrado has him stomped down on the mat. Oh, no, it's the other way – Sangre charges Vangelis, who tosses him (???) into what should be a low blow dropkick, except it's too far away and Sangre lands on his feet, and angrily does the dropkick from there. I bet he was waiting for Vangelis to back up and he just couldn't. Sagrado missile dropkicks Vangelis out, Okumura gets both of the técnicos, Stuka jumps in over Okumura and drops him with a quebradora. Dropkick sends Stuka out. Odd time for a crowd hot. Yoshihashi flips Stuka to the apron, Stuka fights him off, and goes for an Asai, Okumura is a bit odd timed in trying to break that up but does. Yoshihashi get to signal to dive – tope just gets there. Sagrado plancha Vangelis inside, Vangelis clothesline missed, and Sagrado topes Yoshihashi. Vangelis and Stuka in, Vangelis looks pained as he whips Sangre in the corner again. Sangre flips him to the apron, and Vangelis does a tope con giro from there. Sangre looks at the ever growing pile, waits for someone to get up, and is tripped up by Okumura. Okumura slap is blocked, Sangre knocked back, Okumura top rope plancha, Sangre with the counter dropkick one two three.
Local break during the replays. Fine enough.
Karla talks Brazo de Plata's history.
Match 4: Máximo, Rush, Super Porky vs Héctor Garza, Psicosis, Volador Jr.
Arena Mexico, 05/31/2011
técnicos
Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 10:28
Rating: usual
Notes: Entrances. Ref is Maya. Major clip off the bat. Volador is now wearing just the outline of the spider as a top. It's very AAA.
1: Psicosis and Porky do the slowest quick trip pins possible. Porky goes for a tapatía, but Psicosis gets the ropes. Local break. Rush and Garza resume action, if Garza stripping counts as action. When they finally get going, Rush dismisses Hector quickly, but Volador immediately dropkicks Rush out and follows with a tope. Técnicos quickly take the fall anyway.
2: Garza/Porky comedy ends with a Porky second rope splash, but no pin. Psicosis and Máximo stumble a bit, then the fall is very edited. A Porky dive is cut out, and the rudos win in quick form – quicker since they cut out any time between moves. Dive off the apron is shown in replays.
3: Brawling beatdown on the outside quickly turns on the rudos when they bring it inside for corner whips. Porky gets in one corner sit on all, they flee before taking another and Máximo and Rush land topes on Garza and Volador. Porky misses the sunset flips it on Psicosis, but stills slams him and heads to the middle rope. Rudos – having ditched the other técnicos somewhere – stop him and toss him off the top. Porky rolls out, and we're back to beatdown oddly. Máximo hangs him in the ropes for Volador's guillotine legdrop. Garza's getting good at that. Rush brought in, casadora frontcracker and a Rush top rope senton for him.
Announcers wrap up so they can be edited again.
