Match 1: Molotov & Sensei vs Apocalipsis & Mortiz
Arena Mexico, 04/15/2011

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 10:01
Rating: missable
Notes: Entrances. Is Mortiz using the old Hermandad 187 theme? Same music, different vocals. Maya is referee. There are not a lot of people here.

1: Typical opening fall. Apocalipsis gets Sensei to stand on his head in a hold at one point. Mortiz takes out Molotov with a running slingshot top con giro (Molotov catches it by bending over and having Mortiz bounce of his back) and a lame toss → dropkick sets up Apocalipsis' finish.

2: Beatdown doesn't last long. Molotov does get dropped on his face on the apron, but he's the one who start the comeback, ducking a double clotheslines and getting lifted by his partner into a headscissors on Apocalipsis. Sensei has a springboard tope con giro onto Apocalipsis on the outside, and Molotov wraps up Mortiz in the ring.

3: Showcase Molotov gets Mortiz a sunset flip powerbomb to the floor. Apocalipsis and Sensei have quick near falls until Sensei's quick kicks set up a short armscissors for a submission. Mortiz never makes it back in. Three straight count out finishes.

Match 2: Diamante, Fuego, Sagrado © vs Hooligan, Loco Max, Raziel ©
Arena Mexico, 04/15/2011

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 14:47
Rating: fine
Notes: Entrances. Does Fuego have new music? I dunno. Hooligan is looking Zebra-like. LATV really brings out the dog growling noises in the Cancerberos music. Raziel is wearing a dog mask too. Sagrado is always the captain. Bestia Negra is the referee.

1: Fuego and Hooligan start, and Fuego pulls out a neat Indian Deathlock with chinlock. Hooligan later comes back with a neat leg and arm trap cradle. It's a very active and creative battle, and they get a lot of time. Diamante and Loco Max are next, also keeping it grounded. Loco break clicks in here. Raziel and Sagrado are already going as they return, picking up the pace. Rope flip armdrag sends the dog out, and Sagrado handspring dive fakes. Tuareg kicks him down, other técnicos springboard armdrag those two out. Fuego's all ready to dive, but has to abort because the other guys are busy high ten-ing. High five for Sagrado, now everyone runs – but Fuego and Diamante slide out and Sagrado rolls over the top rope. Rudos have ducked down, so dive wouldn't work, but the rudos still get the advantage via chops and such. Raziel takes Diamante to the apron, and drops him with a pumphandle slam there. Loco Max brings Sagrado in, trips him into the ropes and Hooligan adds his guillotine senton con giro for the fall.

2: Beatdown. Loco Max yells. Raziel double underhook backbreaker on Fuego. Double backdrop Diamante. Sagrado sidesteps a corner charge and swing kicks Hooligan to start the comeback. Fuego springboards in for an armdrag on Loco. Diamante, a few seconds later, gets Raziel with a headscissors. Double dive, but again it's a tease: Fuego slides out, when the rudos dodge, and Diamante stays in – he moves of the way, and Sagrado corner topes Raziel. Meanwhile, Loco chops Fuego and heads back in. Hooligan is still down and checking his nose. Diamante is flipped to the apron and slapped there, but he eventually comes back with a kick. Fuego finishes Hooligan with a submission, and we miss Diamante's finish watching that. They do catch it on replay.

3: JCR says this show is the highest rated show on LATV, and that a grand daughter of Dr. Wagner watches it every week from Atlanta. Diamante does a handspring backflip just to land on the floor and quebradora Hooligan there. Local break. Return during the end of a Loco Max/Fuego exchange. Fuego does his clothesline duck & dance on the floor, that's hardcore. Loco Max promptly boots him and brings him back in. Loco suplexes Fuego one, holds on for a second, holds on and points up, tries for a third, and gets small packaged by Fuego for a three count.

Hooligan in, Fuego tries a 'rana on him, that fails. Hooligan Clash, tied up.

Diamante and Hooligan evade, and Diamante ends up on the apron when Hooligan comes sliding thru with a dropkick. Hooligan Asai moonsault! That's a sight. Raziel clotheslines Sagrado, Whip, quick reverse, Sagrado powerslams him, and hooks on a spinning neck crack. Raziel gives, and that's the fall. Boos for a técnicos win.

Miguel calls it a “Noria”? I haven't seen that move at all, and it's come up twice this week.
