Match 1: La Comandante & Princesa Blanca vs Goya Kong & Silueta
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 12/14/2010
técnicas
Winner: rudas (2-1)
Match Time: 13:42
Rating: could’ve been worse
Notes: No idea why this aired. Maybe Felino got to pick the matches? Silueta has really red hair against a white outfit. And a sombrero! I guess “now” isn't the right word, since her first match to air. Referee is Edgar.
1: Goya just does the Brazo spots, but not as well. Exciting. Silueta flips into the ring and all, but then has to stop her pants from falling down the whole time. He's get a very open back in her gear, and some low slung pants that are millimeters away from being indecent. Brief mat battle isn't as entertaining as Silueta’s front handstands and such. She's got that part down. Toe holds and head yanking. Felino thinks Blanca is best luchadora in the world! He's just going to be winning points at home this match. Silueta's offense is hairpulls and armdrags. More Goya Kong comedy. Silueta tries a run up the ropes armdrag that sort of works and then a headscissors that looks surprisingly decent. I'm ready to send her to Mexico City, but just because the bar is unfortunately low. Blanca takes control back with a back elbow, backs Silueta into a corner, and unleashes the loudest slap I’ve heard in some time. Corner whip, Silueta jumps to the middle rope, kicks and pulls Blanca down, then gets Comandante with a plancha. Finish time – I think Silueta goes for a bodyscissors campana and get loss and ends up with who knows what. Goya sort of sentons Comandante for another pin.
2: Beatdown fall. Rudas can't do much with Goya, but kill Silueta with a double spinebuster. Comandante adds an unnecessary running splash for that pin. Rudas barely pull of the double spinebuster on Goya, and Comandante add a middle rope splash to finish. Felino and Bucanero spent a portion of the fall debating “Comandante” vs “Comandanta”, and pointing out Silueta's slipping pants. They're locked in on the action.
3: Comandante goes in the crowd to yell at some fan, but we never quite get a good look at what the happened. Crowd has a Goya song? Crowd is into it, but largely drunk. Rudos press Silueta, but Goya turns into a armdrag/headscissors spot, some how. Matches goes awry for a bit, and the rudas just start beating up the técnicas again. Spinebuster for Goya, Comandante goes up to the middle rope, Blanca helps her to the top rope, splash connects. One two three. Rudas have forgotten to pin Silueta, but Edgar clues them in. Teleformula doesn't take the clue and cuts to break. Web video shows the rudas eventually putting her in a Destructora.
Comandante goes back in the crowd to continue telling someone off.
Match 2: Delta, Sagrado ©, Valiente vs Héctor Garza ©, Mr. Águila, Volador Jr.
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 11/23/2010
rudos
Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 19:17
Rating: eh
Notes: From three weeks earlier! Just random choice week. Entrances are clipped from Teleformula, but Aguila has an awesome mask in the web cast. Aguila's offended by Delta running past him to pose in the corner. You can easily tell this was near the bodybuilding contest; everyone participating has that look, more than usual. Valiente is crazy looking. Referee is Edgar.
1: Garza surprises Sagrado with a dropkick as both sides are leaving. The dropkick knocks Sagrado clear out of the ring, and Garza calmly returns to his corner. Sagrado demands Garza face him, and Garza comes in – to strip. Garza gets the better of Sagrado with cheap shot kicks, angering the other técnicos. Edgar keeps backing them off, though. Sagrado makes his own quebradora based comeback. Volador and Delta are in next, but Volador trips Delta into the ropes and Garza takes him out with a sharp kick to the head. Beatdown from there. Announcers try to explain how Aguila still has long hair, do not have one. Lots of kicks. Delta's finished. Sagrado takes corner kicks, and gets whipped out into a bad looking wheel kick from Aguila for a pin. Valiente is brought in and kicked in the rear for good measure.
2: Loud kick beatdown. Sagrado finally pulls of Garza going for one to start the comeback. Delta gets the others with a springboard dropkick. Valiente ropes Volador, Delta tope con giro's Aguila. Garza rushes back in, and Sagrado drops on him with a tope rope plancha. 'rana, one two three.
3: Showcases go Delta, Sagrado, Valiente. Everyone's okay. This match has plenty of superkicks. Valiente looks TINY. Garza makes fun of Valiente’s muscles, that's different. Valiente flattens Garza with a surprise tope. Aguila tries an Asai, but Valiente trips him up, and Delta follows with a moonsault to the floor. Volador cuts off Sagrado and dives into the ring with a plancha. Sagrado reverses a clothesline into a fireman's drop and goes for the top rope moonsault, but Volador gets rolls out of the way. Sagrado rolls too, but Aguila breezes him with a jumping heel kick (bad) and Volador adds on a backcracker. One two three.
