Match 1: Metal Blanco & Palacio Negro vs Exterminador & Malefico
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 10/19/2010
rudos
Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 18:13
Rating: not the best performance by the técnicos.
Notes: Metal Blanco has his title. Loco is the ref.
1: When you only see them in action once every six months, Malefico and Exterminador blend together as undercard veterans who possible lost a hair match six weeks ago. Palacio and Malefico have a slow mat exchange. Negro gets in a nice headscissors from the mat to finish it. Tag to Blanco. Not sure if the tag was loud because of good mic work or no one being in building. Crowd loudly chants for Metal Blanco, so there's enough people there to make noise. These two are a bit quicker paced, with an exchange of zero pins leading to both headstanding up to their feet. Shoving match is won by Blanco, and he teases the dive before posing. Crowd has an extended chant for the rudos. Back to the first two, with Palacio Negro's flipping run including a backflip over Malefico. Did Palacio Negro just do the Sabu point? Hmmm. Quadruple springboard headscissors gets giggles from the crowd. Malefico out, Palacio back flips to the apron and drops down to the floor to confront. All four have an argument, and Loco Estrada is a bit late tog et involved. It does settle down without any fight, much to the fans displeasure. Back to the first two. Armdrag and dropkicks for Exterminador. Blanco dumps him in the center of the ring, off the ropes – and pulled out by Malefico. Malefico swats the kid down on the outside. Exterminador gets back to his fee tin the ring, and we watch the end of Palacio Negro doing something to knock him back down. Negro's flipped to apron, Exterminador tries to post him, Palacio gets free and stun guns Exterminador. Time for the headstand rope flip moonsault – but Malefico jumps on the apron and grabs the legs to stop it in mid rope flip! Palacio's held in a sort of Tree of Woe, and Exterminador adds a dropkick. That was smart work by Malefico, and Felino gives him credit. Metal Blanco hops in, but Malefico powerslams him and Exterminador adds a senton one two three. Rudos grab Palacio Negro – two man torture rack. That'll do. Rudos take their time letting go.
2: The announce crew is too distracted by the ring girl (and the little the ring girl is wearing) to welcome us back to the show. Meanwhile, the rudos have deiced to beat up the técnicos to the outside. Palacio Negro is dramatically and painfully crotched on the post. Blanco is brought inside for a kick to the ribs. Palacio Negro is felled by one might chop. Crowd tries to chant for him, but I think they're a minute early. Backdrop. Dropkick tot he back sends Palacio out to the apron. Metal Blanco in. Loco Estrada is very annoyed they won't just fight one on one here. Not that he's stopping it or anything, but he seems to be more upset than most refs. Blanco thrown out to the ramp too, and the rudos track down Palacio down there. Fireman’s carry toss into a gutbuster. Metal Blanco slapped down near his partner. This is not going well for the técnicos. Malefico whips Blanco towards the ring, reversed, and Exterminador accidentally backdrops his partner into the ring. Exterminador realized about have way there. Blanco gives Exterminador a quebradora, and Negro runs down, leaping off his back into a springboard a headscissors - which doesn’t actually move Malefico at all. Looks like the move came in too high. Malefico pushes Palacio Negro and sends him into the ropes for a 'rana. Meanwhile, Metal Blanco blows his own springboard 'rana in, and they do an up and over sunset flip to make up for it. That could've gone better. Crowd is happy anyway.
3: Chop fight between Palacio and Exterminador, including a big 540 degree spinning DDT from Palacio. Exterminador goes out, crowd roars as Palacio sets for a dive, but he ends up doing the dive fake pose instead. Making 'em wait. Malefico and Metal Blanco are next, the rudo eating a springboard headscissors and a springboard armdrag. Metal Blanco looks like he's going thru a training walk thru rather than a fight here. I think you could make a nice highlight package out of this match, but it's not a great match. Palacio and Exterminador back in, and Malefico gets in a cheap shot from the outside. Metal Blanco is slapped as he comes in. Metal Blanco is strung up in the corner ropes, and rudos whip in Palacio after him. Camera sort of misses it. Rudos focusing on hard slaps. Negro sent to the other corner, Blanco in after him, Negro flips Blanco to safety, flips Malefico to the other corner, kick Exterminador as he charges, and drops on him with a springboard tornillo moonsault to the floor. Went over Exterminador, mostly. Blanco in, springboard headscissors sends him out, Blanco runs back and forth of the ropes, up to the top rope, and off with a top rope tope con giro. Crowd approves.
All four in, rudos knocking down técnicos with slaps. They’re certainly better with those. Técnicos whipped at each other, they reverse, rudos spin each other around, but miss dropkicks. Técnicos drop them in front of each corner – Palacio Negro springboard rope flip moonsault, Metal Blanco something (450 splash) one two three.
Match 2: Máximo © , Rush, Toscano vs Averno ©, Dragón Rojo Jr., Mephisto
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 10/12/2010
rudos
Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: eh
Rating: 14:10
Notes: Ring announcers is fired up for some reason. It's a match with Máximo, Rush, and Toscano, don’t do that. Everyone is in second gear at maximum. Crowd is really excited to see Máximo. Bestia Negra is the second ref.
1: JCR is fired up for Dragon Rojo vs Rush in a battle of the two best muscle dudes. This is not a posing contest, sadly. This is those two doing mat wrestling. Or something approximating it. Rush gets the better of it, sending Dragon Rojo out with an armdrag and slowly chasing him around. Crowd is very excited for the idea of Máximo (Máximo joins in his own chant) and then Máximo actually being in the match. He gets about ten seconds with Averno before Dragon Rojo trip him up from outside, and Mephisto kicks him in the head. Fans wanted to see Máximo, but they're going to have to wait. Rudos clear off the apron and drop Máximo with a triple pump powerbomb.
2: Brawling beatdown. Máximo gets rammed into the post crotch first and at a high rate of speed. Máximo gets Averno with the springboard butt bump off a corner whip to start the comeback. Something involving Dragon Rojo and Toscano makes so little sense even a clip can't hide it. Toscano opts to post Dragon Rojo on the outside instead of doing a dive, which his is proabbly the best for everyone. Rush is very conscious of getting the senton in at all times.
Mephisto's held down for the big kiss, but Averno pulls Máximo out to make the save. I think Máximo ended up kissing someone, but they missed it.
3: Back to one on ones. Rush flattens Dragon Rojo with a big spinebuster, not something you see much in these rings. Senton misses, but a dropkick sends the técnico out. Mephisto cuts him off from a dive with a back elbow, then grabs his own thigh. That's probably not good. Trickery by Averno & Mephisto starts good and ends up bad – Averno superkicked, Mephisto kicked in the head. Toscano’s sequence includes the usual stripping and the usual moves on Averno and Mephisto. Dragon Rojo attempts to destroy him via stomps, and that actually takes for a moment. Usual flying dropkick counter. Máximo is last, with his offensive run. All three rudos are knocked out camera sides, and all three técnicos follow with topes. Rush sort of tumbles thru the ropes oddly, but everyone seems to live. Everyone comes back in for sunset flip near falls, everyone rudos send everyone but Máximo out, Máximo makes the 1 on 3 comeback, and kisses Mephisto finally. Máximo celebrates, and the rudos kick him out. Toscano and Rush come back in, and are immediately killed. Confusing to see Rush actually lose, and take the pinfall!
