If you're trying to figure out when this show is supposed to take place – the weekend it aired or the weekend the matches take place – the announcers mention Bucanero's hair match with Aguila. That wasn't announced until 11/18, midway in between these two events.
Match 1: Delta ©, Diamante, Gallo vs Demus 3:16 ©, Escorpion, Semental
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 11/09/2010
rudos
Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 14:44
Rating: good
Notes: Delta's music remains gloriously unbleeped. Demus gets into a pre-match shoving match with Delta. Referees are Loco and Old GDL ref.
1: Escorpion and Gallo are the first group, with Escorpion not believing the nerve of this Guadalajara native for standing up to him. Demus flies all over the place for Delta, then causes him to fly all over the place. Demus is so scary, he scares Escorpion. Demus plays dead on the floor after a headscissors. Diamante and Semental is so fast paced that the web video has trouble keeping up with it. Semental connects on a flashy double springboard in ring tope, then a thru the ropes tornillo the outside. Escorpion drops Delta on the inside, then whips him to Demus for a valagueza. Escorpion does his usual quebrada on Gallo – Gallo almost rolls out of the way waiting for it. Guess it doesn't really matter with Delta as captain. Rudos continue to beat up técnicos between falls.
2: Delta is hiptossed onto boots. Diamante takes the dropkick off the apron. Double press slam for Gallo, with Semental adding a run up the ropes turning senton. Delta runs up the corner on a whip and comes down with a headscissors on Escorpion to start the comeback. Demus is pulled out, and Delta avoids a Semental senton to dropkick him out. Delta follows with a plancha, and Diamante gets Scorpion with a tope con giro. Gallo and Demus in, Demus hangs himself in the ropes him with a missile dropkick, and Gallo adds a middle rope backcracker for the fall.
3: Delta showcase includes a fireman’s carry escape headscissors on Semental, and the back lean over the top tope into a headscissors on the same rudo. Crowd very much approves. Diamante sends Demus out with a flipping top rope armdrag, but Escorpion elbows him by surprise and poses. Over headscissors and a flipping kick sends Escorpion out, where he backs down and begs off form more violence. Chest slap fight between Gallo and Semental goes to a Gallo when he ducks. Gallo doesn't have as spectacular offense as the guys who went before him, but he does pulls off a nice spinning armdrag. Off the top rope headscissors for Escorpion, but speared by Demus. Wild punches, and Semental has to settle his teammate down before he hits the ref. Demus kind of sort of gets caught in the ropes, and Gallo ends up throwing him out the other way. Tope wipes out Demus. Diamante in, Semental flips him to the rudo corner, Delta charges, blocks the clothesline and drops Semental with a fireman's carry. Right spot for Diamante's 450 splash. Delta gets Escorpion with a 'rana for the other pin.
Match 2: La Máscara, Místico ©, Sagrado vs Héctor Garza ©, Mr. Águila, Taichi
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 11/09/2010
rudos
Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 13:44
Rating: usual
Notes: Taichi has his invisible dog. Which apparently can climb the ropes really easily. Mr. Aguila uses the Vipers music. La Mascara enters in between Sagrado & Místico, so we don't hear Gregorian chants back to back. Místico continues to wear his Atlas jerseys. Mr. Aguila makes belt motions towards La Mascara.
1: Rudos jump técnicos right after the captains announcement. Garza teases tearing up the jersey for quite some time. Místico rescues it, and uses it as a matador cape with Aguila. Garza rips off his breakaway pants, throws them at Místico, and kicks Místico when he catches it. Flapjack kick spot doesn't look good, and Garza covers him for an odd three count. It's tough to tell, because they show it from a bad angle and Aguila & Sagrado fight right in front, but Garza actually pulls Místico up. Couldn't figure out why they were still fighting, for minutes more, the first time thru. Not that much happens of note. Perico joins the announcers! Rudos finish off Mascara first
2: Místico is held on the apron for a running knee from Garza. Garza and Escorpion use a lot of the same moves. Místico lays on the floor with his feet in the air, and Taichi goes out to make sure Mistico's still alive. He is! Elaborate holding Místico for Garza kicks finally goes wrong when Mascara trips up Garza from the outside. Rudos bumble around, and técnicos superkick all of them out at once. Triple dives? Triple tope! Everyone but Garza end up in the ring, with Aguila taking a 619 and Taichi a double superkick. Garza gets up to apron just for Mascara to kick him off, and Sagrado topes him again. Garza stands up, no selling it, then falls on a woman. Of course.
3: Showcases go Sagrado, Místico and Mascara. Sagrado is very hyperactive (and hyper reactive) today. Místico going second is a bit surprising, but Sagrado left Garza laying in the ring and Místico’s been trying to get to him all match. Garza does a fair bit off stalling before asking for a handshake. Místico is busy pointing out all the times Garza's turn on him when Garza sneaks in a kick. Flying headscissors sends Garza flying, and that's all Místico deals with before letting Mascara in. The Técnico actually offers the rudo a handshake, though this is the rudo who doesn't know what to do it with it. Bows are exchanged instead, and Taichi lays out Mascara with a flurry of punches and kicks, but Mascara comes back with his one usual kick for a near fall. Aguila comes in to help, fails. I've lost track of how many superkicks I've seen in this match, but there's more here. Mascara gives Garza his own stop sign to pull off his shirt, and Garza takes advantage to kick Mascara. I've also lost track of how many times Garza's been kicked in the butt, but there's another hone here. Mascara headscissors sends Garza into the front row, and Mascara follows with a tope. Aguila hops to the apron on, but Mascara trips him off the ropes, and holds both the rudos for a Sagrado tope. Taichi sets up for his dive, but Místico gets him with a springboard plancha. Místico picks Taichi up, Taichi punches and elbows him a bit. Taichi heading up! This is a horrible idea. Místico stops him with a swing kick, and climbs up. Mascara climbs up with him? They wait for a while, and Aguila and Garza show up to grab a people too – stacked up super bomb. Taichi Místico and Mascara getting hurt. Sagrado comes off the top rope splash Taichi and set up the three way pin, but Taichi has no idea it's coming and rolls over to his stomach. Sagrado straightened him out, and everyone kicks out at 2. Aguila and Taichi are whipped into each other, técnicos set up the star, and Místico gets Garza with La Místico in the middle of it, with the others moving out of the way. Submission does it, though the técnicos get their own cradles just to be sure.
