  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 15:08
Rating: good fun
Notes: Bam Bam does not have his title. Nitro has a sword! I had no idea he won Rey de Reyes. Warrior and Eléctrico have a face off in the aisle. Refs appear to be Tigre Hispano and Babe Richard.

1: That goes on for a bit, and the rudos are in a no hurry to actually start the match because of it. Violencia has to calm down his buddy before they the match can actually start. Violencia says something to get his mouth blurred. Bam Bam and Violencia finally start, battling over armbars. Their mat work is long and not particularly productive, though they do have fun slapping each other. Warrior hangs out on the apron instead of the ramp instead of going to his corner for whatever reason. Crowd gets really loud when Nitro and Astral come in, but I think it's just the drum guy decided to bang very loudly. Again, Warrior wanders in the middle of the camera while his teammates fight. It’s quite distracting. Pequeño Nitro manages a headscissors on Astral, celebrates it, then spits at Astral. And then he just leaves! That's a win. Eléctrico and Warrior are next, though Warrior is the last person to figure it out. Warrior does manage a clothesline on the first pass. , but Eléctrico trips him up, handsprings off him, then springboards into an armdrag. Warrior out, Eléctrico cut off with a kick. Bam Bam tries to dropkick the others, but they move and slap him about. Double whip, Bam Bam ducks a clothesline and gets boosted into a dropkick on Nitro. NOOOOOO the commercials are back.

The finish, a week later: Bam Bam fakes out Violencia and lands the tornillo on Nitro. Astral gets Nitro with a moonsault at the same time. Eléctrico and Warrior are left in, and Warrior pulls of his headstand into a headscissors roll for the pin. Rudos beat up Eléctrico in between falls.

2: Rudos in control. Warrior attacks Eléctrico on the ramp, then walks him back towards the ring to throw him in, and comes in himself with a fistdrop off the third rope. Dropkick to the back. Nitro throws Eléctrico out, but Warrior follows – apron elbow drop! Bam Bam takes a rebound faceslam. Rudos bite Astral's hand. Bam Bam and Warrior have a tug of war over Eléctrico, and the rudo somehow wins. Lesser rudos hold Eléctrico for a Warrior dropkick. Warrior yells “WARRIOR!” and seems happy with how this has been going. Bam Bam punched about, and takes corner clotheslines and leg lariats. Rudos try again with him and it fails. Violencia takes the superkick, Warrior is able to flip Bam Bam to the apron and elbow him to the floor. Nitro follows with a nice plancha tot he floor to wipe them both out. Astral back in, corner whip, Warrior charges, clothesline actually lands, Warrior picks him up and drops him in front of the opposite corner for Violencia, Violencia lands the top rope senton for one pin. Meanwhile, Warrior misses a clothesline on Eléctrico, and rolls over him. Warrior does his headstand bit, and Eléctrico dropkicks him in the middle of it again. Eléctrico quickly puts on his leg leg lock for a pin – that's it, Warrior's the captain, Eléctrico just stole the fall!

3: Warrior tries to use the ring girl as a human shield with Eléctrico, then does his own spin with an imaginary card. Eléctrico and Warrior start in the ring. While Eléctrico tries to untie Warrior's mask, Tigre Hispano unties Warrior from the ring tape that's been hanging form his right wrist for a while. Babe Richard warns Eléctrico (who's own mask is untied) and Violencia sneaks in to dropkick the técnico out. Astral goes up top, seems to lose his balance for a moment, headstand forward to his feet on the mat. Violencia immediately chops him up. Off the ropes avoidance goes nowhere, Eléctrico casadora armdrag. Violencia goes out to the ramp, Astral charges towards him, runs up the ropes, and tries to springboard off into something, but doesn't stick the landing at all. Crowd is greatly amused by the fail. Astral comes back with a spinning headscissors, but it's over for him tonight. Lots of boos. Tags out to Bam Bam and Nitro. Chop fight. Bam Bam gets Nitro with a headscissors, bends under a clothesline and superkicks Nitro. Nitro lands inside, thinks about it, and pulls himself to the floor. Violencia in, Violencia dropkicks Bam Bam, Eléctrico gets Violencia with a flying armdrag, and Warrior wants nothing to do with Eléctrico. He has no choice at the moment. Handshake? I'm thinking no. Warrior surprises Eléctrico with a forearm, then picks him back up. Warrior holds Eléctrico's head with one hand (grabbing the mask) and punches him with the other. Mask is barely staying on thru this. Eléctrico falls to his knees, so Warrior gives him some kneelifts. Warrior goes nuts for a second as his partners come in. Rudos taking forever to figure out what they want to do here. Eléctrico ducks under a a double clothesline, técnicos dropkick out rudos, Eléctrico's dropkick may have not actually hit Warrior - he stays in while his partners roll out. Bam Bam and Astral out with tope con giro and tope on the other rudos. Tiger Hispano turns to check on the guys on the outside, and Eléctrico accidentally collides with Babe Richard when Warrior moves out of the way. Hispano checks on Richard, Warrior pulls off Eléctrico's mask and cradles him, one two three.

Warrior celebrates with the mask, which you'd think would tip off the referees. Oh well.

Match 2: Metro, Stuka Jr., Valiente © vs Felino © , Misterioso II, Vangelis
Arena Mexico, 11/05/2010

  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 10:41
Rating: OK. Had it's moments.
Notes: Perico is with Felino. I think Bucanero and Felino have join custody. Felino has a giant broom for reasons known only to him. Monito is with the other team. Refs are Rodolfo Ruiz and Pompin.

1: Felino actually has good control of Valiente, then he hands him off to Vangelis. The situation changes. Vangelis is able to flip Valiente to his corner. Metro tries to come in with a slingshot monkey flip, but that falls apart badly. Action gets back up to speed with Stuka involved. Vangelis is hanging out on the ramp side apron at this point, so Misterioso tosses a charging Stuka over the rope to Vangelis, who barley manage to hold onto to the catch, but does – and northern lights suplexes Stuka on the ramp! I don’t' think you need the bridge there, chief, but nice job. Vangelis poses while the other guys clean up – Misterioso boosts Valiente into Felino's flying clothesline, which works a lot better than the dropkick version. Metro tries to charge into for the safety, but Misterioso deals with him.

2: Beatdown continues. Just waiting for the Monito/Perico interaction. Stuka is slapped around. Felino tries to use the metal noise maker, but the refs cut him off. Rudos find a workaround: they drag Stuka to the rudo corner, and Perico uses it himself. Stuka gets a handful of the bird, but the rudos grab him and Perico hits Stuka once more. Pilots and birds, natural rivals. Felino attempts to kick Metro's head off. Metro is flipped to the ramp side apron, and Vangelis spears him thru the ropes. Perhaps the greatest Vangelis spot ever! Stuka manages to dropkick Felino, but Misterioso catches him with a clothesline, and Felino dropkicks him out to the ramp too. Valiente comes in and slaps Vangelis, but Misterioso puts him down with his own slap. Corner whip, Vangelis walks up the ropes, backflips over Misterioso as he spears the post, dropkicks Vangelis in the knee, then tricks Felino into clotheslining Vangelis out. Meanwhile, Metro monkey flips Stuka into a tope con giro on Misterioso. Metro does his own dive off the ramp onto Vangelis, and Valiente wraps it up with his arm trap half crab on Felino.

3: Metro and Vangelis have a shoving match, ending by Metro pulling Vangelis down his buzzcut. Reversals, Metro flattens Vangelis with a plancha, Vangelis comes back with his wheel kick. I think Vangelis has gotten all his spots in. Metro starts tossing Vangelis around with his big hiptoss and belly to belly suplex. Dropkick sends Vangelis out. Pose, crowd not really behind him. Stuka and Misterioso in – no, Monito wants a piece of Misterioso for some reason. Combined, they probably still weigh less than Misterioso. Stuka and Monito discuss, and Misterioso takes advantage to kick Monito down from behind. Misterioso slaps Stuka in the back, stands him up and punches him down. Stuka trips Misterioso, cartwheels away, leapfrogs over Misterioso, gets flipped to the apron, but comes back in with a front flip flying armdrag to send Misterioso cross ring. Rebound armdrag sends Misterioso out the other side. Stuka running, rolling to a stop, and posing. Felino upstages him with a flip off the top rope in. Valiente tops him with a slingshot roll, a hop and a spin! Felino misses a clothesline, Valiente hiptosses him, backflip off the ropes for fun, off the ropes, over, over and Felino clotheslines him on the third pass. Felino fast dropkick to the head, and celebration as Valiente rolls out. Stuka in, and reversing a sunset flip to sent Felino into a Misterioso kick. Misterioso charges Stuka, Stuka sets him up on the top rope – bad idea! Vangelis takes care of Metro, and hits Stuka from behind, loading him up perfectly. La Rosa, there, double underhook backbreaker over there, Felino left alone to pose.
