Wow, they actually leave the open on this week. It's odd seeing it non-grainy footage. In exciting announcers news, they're wearing blue this week, and Rey Bucanero finally has a blue polo. Oh no, I thought we got the Semental trios – they're showing a women's trios? Boooooooooooo. For reasons unclear to us, Felino has Mascara Dorada key chain and a key!
Match 1: Dalys la Caribeña, Luna Mágica, Marcela © vs Amapola ©, Seuxis, Tiffany
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 10/12/2010
técnicas
Winner: técnicas (2-1)
Match Time: 11:41
Rating: not horrible
Notes: I guess Zeuxis has no entrance music, because she enters to Tiffany's song. I could see that. At some point, I should change to the Z spelling. This is before a bit before the Tiffany/Amapola title match, and just days before Luna Magica's hair match. Refs are Terror Chino and Loco Estrada.
1: Really, I thought I was getting to see Semental and Scorpion and they start this match off with a long period of Luna Mágica and Zeuxis on the mat. I'm not paying the maximum amount of interest in this part. They don't appear to clown themselves, though their timing is not so great in certain parts. I'm pretty sure Zeuxis snap mares herself at one point. Luna gives the rookie a backbreaker that ends up being a more side back breaker, and Zeuxis immediately speed rolls out of the ring. She almost takes out Loco in the process, but then just grabs her back on the outside. Tiffany, who may have shoulder harness on both arms at this point, is a lot more about personalities than wrestling with Dalis, but she can pull that off. Amapola & Marcela jump in and immediately starting sprinting thru the usual Amapola & Marcela match. Marcela gets dropkicked out, and Dalis surprise her with a silla. Zeuxis escapes Marcela double underhook to run into Luna's finishing sequence. In the time it takes for Luna to put on her hold, Marcela casadora rolls Tiffany and gets the three count.
2: More Luna Mágica showcase. Tiffany baits Dalis into a handshake, and Amapola attacks her from behind to start the beatdown. Triple dropkick bit for Marcela. Dalis takes Amapola's flying sit. Zeuxis's middle rope legdrop could use some more practice. Hey, Tiffany has a finish! I'm not sure about Zeuxis' inverted figure four (on Luna, too late to matter), maybe she needs to win more to try it out. Amapola puts her one legged campana on Dalis for good measure – that’s a move that needs a name.
3: Corner charges for Luna end with Amapola throwing Luna down on her head. Corner charges for Dalis. Really weird/bad/low double clothesline for Marcela. It was like she was supposed to jump over it or something. Anyway, Dalis makes the comeback with a reverse plancha on experiences rudas, and they accidentally chop Zeuxis out. Luna may dive on Zeuxis off screen, but the other técnicas wrap it up in the ring.
Match 2: Blue Panther ©, Hijo del Fantasma, Máscara Dorada vs Averno ©, Mephisto, Shigeo Okumura
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 10/19/2010
técnicos
Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 16:36
Rating: OK, interesting
Notes: Entrances cut out? So are most of the fans – a far lesser crowd than the week before. Mysterious Young Guadalajara ref joins Loco Estrada. No mention of the announcers.
1: Blue Panther and Averno have a long mat battle which gets to a tapatía but doesn’t really go anywhere since no one's winning this fall without a tag. It's nice to know Averno can use an STF when it really doesn't matter, perhaps he can remember it in a third fall someday. This foes four minutes before they pause to clap for each other, and then they decided to keep going. Sunset reversals lead into Fantasma coming in with an armdrag and a headscissors. Averno goes out, and Dorada jumps out on him – moonsault to the floor that the camera people didn’t seem coming. Fantasma rolls up Mephisto and panther submits Okumura.
2: Since they really didn't get in the first fall, Fantasma and Dorada get their showcases here. Fantasma is about usual, though more spanking Okumura than usual. Dorada is flying. Springboard headscissors all around. Panther must be anticipating the beatdown, because he forearms the rudos on the apron before starting with Okumura. Still gets himself kicked by Mephisto when he goes for a hold. Beatdown still doesn’t start, and Panther rallies back for a middle rope headscissors. Averno rushes in, kicks Panther (so much air, so wonderfully shown by the camera) and drops him with Devil's Wings. One two three. Fantasma and Dorada must've spaced out on the apron not to break that up.
3: No real beatdown, but they do double team Fantasma for a moment, and literally only a moment, before Dorada launches with a springboard plancha on the Hijos to start the comeback. Triples dive? Triple dive, Dorada skying with a tope con giro and the other guys going with topes. Averno and Panther exchange near falls, Panther kicking out of a F5. Panther counters as a counter charge, kicking Averno in the middle of the ring to take Fantasma's diving DDT. Rudos are content to let Averno kick out on his own, and he does, so I guess that was a good call. Mephisto breaks up another pinfall, and drops Fantasma with a messy cradle DDT for 2. Fantasma slide out on a wave by, and Dorada comes in with the springboard flip 'rana. One two NO. Dorada goes for another 'rana, but Mephisto blocks him and hangs him for a dropkick from the others. Rudos take control long enough to missile a triple diving headbutt, and that misses to the surprise of no one. Técnicos all try roll ups, all fail. Okumura slaps Dorada out, Fantasma superkicks him, Panther and Fantasma put on holds but Averno breaks that up. Dorada running back in, Diving headscissors over the ropes takes Averno out, and Dorada finds with the Brillo Dorada! Dorada hasn't gotten a lot in, but he's looked really good with what he has done. Rudos try running técnicos into each other but get shoved off. Panther tries boosting Fantasma into a dropkick, but rudos scatter. We're meant to think Mephisto fouled Fantasma with a kick on the way down, but it's not that close. Devil's Wings, Okumura and Mephisto cover for three.
Panther trips up Okumura into the corner, and traps Mephisto into a farmer’s roll! Around and around they go, where they stop is kinda of near the ropes, but oh well. One two Okumura breaks it up. Replay of Dorada's dive. Okumura holds Panther, Mephisto slowly gets up, slaps, and gets his partner. Mephisto is more mad at Okumura for letting go to than anything. Panther charges, Mephisto flips him, and Okumura sort of catches him. Dorada in, missing a dropkick, Mephisto charge, Dorada flips him to the apron, Mephisto jumps, but Panther trips him off the apron. Dorada and Averno in, both charge, Dorada under the leapfrog, off the ropes, trying for something but falling down. Averno stomps him, whip, tilt-a-whirl, Dorada lands on his feet, Villano cradle one two three. Guess Averno was captain, because that's it.
