CMLL Guadalajara on Teleformula #15 (10/02/2010)
Recapped: 10/04/10

Off the web feed. As usual, the transfer to my TV completely jacks up the audio, so I won't be able to tell you much anything Rey Bucanero and Felino. They are down on the Invasors in the open.

Match 1: Hijo del Fantasma & Rush vs Ephesto & Vangelis
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 09/07/2010

  1. técnicos

  2. rudos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 17:52
Rating: useless
Notes: Noooooooooo. Rush walks to the end of the ramp, stops and dramatically rips off his pullaway pants. Fantasma is next, so he picks up the pull away pants, puts them in front of him, and dramatically throws them off. Fantasma then gets into a shoving match with Vangelis for no apparent reasons. Lots more visible empty seats this week.

1: Very simple fall, basic opening stuff for both técnicos (and Fantasma twice) leading to a Rush plancha onto Vangelis and Fantasma easily finishing Ephesto.

2: Vangelis gets his second run here. Vangelis tries to chop fight Rush, so Rush dropkicks him down, and then kicks him in the side of the head. He's a not a nice person. Required spot where someone this rush on the outside and rush superkicks them off the apron bit. Rudos do the same cheap shot from the apron bit to actually get control of the match on Fantasma. I guess it's his fault for falling down (unlike Rush) or it's the rudos credit for not both turning away fro Rush and posing. Both rudos go directly to choking. Rudos seem to be in the process of doing tag team moves when they change their minds and just end the fall immediately. Ephesto pinned Fantasma with a double leg takedown. Sure, he figure foured the legs as he held Fantasma down, but that was essentially just a takedown.

3: Brawling. Rush is held, but still defiantly spits at Vangelis. Comeback starts on a Fantasma charge. A lot of leapfrogs later, Vangelis has kicked down Ephesto and Rush has kicked Vangelis. Rudos rammed into each other and pulled into inside cradles, one two no. If that spot works in any match ever, it should’ve been this match Rudo powerbombs, feet on the ropes pins, one two kickout. Rudos shoved into each other on bulldogs, Rush is boosted into a horrible dropkick that only gets Vangelis, Everyone else waits while Fantasma topes Vangelis. Rush and Ephesto left in, Ephesto of the ropes, Vangelis just grabs him to stop him, fireman's carry bomb, senton, Fantasma back in to help count, one two three. TV calls the match because no one believes in countouts.

Match 2: La Máscara, Máximo, Shocker © vs Charly Manson ©, Olímpico, Psicosis
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 09/07/2010

  1. técnicos

  2. rudos
  3. técnicos

Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 13:27
Rating: eh
Notes: Invasors all enter to the same music, separately. This is Olímpico’s first appearance her unmasked. Shocker is in a jolly mood. Hyper, really. He spins Máximo when Maximo's name is announced, does jumping jacks after his name is announced, and punches Olímpico in the side of the head when he's looking the other way.

1: More spirited than the first match. Quick showcases for la Mascara (vs Psicosis), Máximo (Olímpico) and Shocker (vs Charly, and barely a few seconds) were followed by a few seconds of Charly clearing out the técnicos until La Mascara caught him in a bodyscissors roll. One campana later, and the fall was essentially over.

2: More técnico showcases. Shocker gets more in this time, La Mascara looks professional, Máximo’s sequence is preceded by Charly Manson hopping around on the outside to mock the ‘beso’ chant. Máximo finishes up with Olímpico with out incident, then the rudos just start beating up the técnicos after Shocker comes in a second time this fall. Quick finish from there.

3: Quick team beatdown. Shocker tries throwing punches at all three rudos and lasts for a few seconds. Charly misses a corner splash on him to start the comeback, with high kicks and flying armdrags to follow. After a Máximo kick on Charly, it's the other four who are left in. Shocker holds them off in the corner to set up a Mascara missile dropkick. They tease double rolling pescados, but Shocker pulls up and Mascara drops on Psicosis alone. Shocker just waits for Charly to come back. Charly gets in, but is in no hurry. I guess Olímpico got kissed? They show him down on the floor, grabbing his mouth in horror, but we never see it. Shocker gets a takedown on the first pass and locks on a STF for the win.
