Match 1: Fuego ©, Metal Blanco, Stuka Jr. vs Exterminador, Máscara Mágica, Pólvora ©
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 07/20/2010

  1. rudos

  2. técnicos
  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 16:25
Rating: crowd far more into than I
Notes: Exterminador is dressed as Slash. Well, he's got a black top hat anyway. Rudos jump técnicos. Your referee are the two local refs.

1: Brawling and mask ripping. Pólvora pairs up with Fuego for lack of anything else to do. Stuka takes a low blow corner dropkick. Metal Blanco isn't in as long. Stuka’s held for punches and kicks. Mágica slams Metal on the ramp and poses. Blanco dramatically crawls and rolls around in pain for a while. Stuka takes a monkey flip on the ramp. Rudos in the opposite of a hurry. Pólvora gives Blanco a Michinoku Driver, Exterminador goes up top, gives the fans heck for booing him, and lands a senton con giro, Bucanero style. Rudos cover for the pin. Not the captain, though it doesn't stop from replaying the pin instead of following the action. Figure four pin on Stuka, with the other guys getting a foot ends the fall.

2: Beatdown continues. Blanco is crotched on the post. Stuka eats a double boot. This feud is missing something for me, but the crowd still seems relatively in it. Fuego ducks a double clothesline, setting up springboard dropkicks by his partners. Triple dive is teased, but only Metal Blanco does a springboard tope con giro and over shots Exterminador.) Stuka follows with an Asai of his own. Not the best angle. Fuego flapjacks Polvora, La Flashina – maybe? For one, it still needs a new name. For another, they struggle with it, and the camera shows Polvora's shoulders are not actually close to being down. Referee decides it's a submission and calls the fall. Stuka and Mágica are brawling in the crowd, and Fuego figures he should go find his partner. Stuka makes it back to the ring, with Mágica holding his face. Stuka brings Magic back in, who begs off.

3: Stuka and Blanco go after the rudos gears. Blanco rips Exterminador's tights clean off – good thing he was wearing trunks underneath. Replay of what we missed with Stuka and Mágica – Mágica fell backwards into a fan after getting hit with the dive, who spilled his drink over everyone. Mágica grabbed on and pulled him all the way down while he was at it. Match breaks down into six way brawling again, with Mágica kicking it off by going after Stuka’s mask to turn the tide. Técnicos rally, and Blanca dropkicks the unmasked rudos out. Teased dive, pose. The other two are gifted with a sequence, and Pólvora dropkicks Fuego after a flipping run, then decks Stuka while he's at it. Fuego comes back with an exciting hiptoss., then they both stare at each other for a while. Ducks a clothesline, dance, backdrop escape headscissors, out goes Polvora. Mágica runs into a quebradora con giro, Exterminador runs into a quebradora. Stuka and Metal Blanco dropkick then out again, and this time runs them over with topes. Replay – those were well timed, and Mágica flew into the second row on impact. Fuego and Mágica pick it up, técnico chopping around the rudo. Whip, reversed, Fuego kips up and out, backflip, and Mágica kicks him over. Stuka fights him off with the deadman’s plancha, Exterminador grabs Stuka, Mágica almost hits his partner by mistake, Stuka pushes the rudos into each other, and lead them into a Blanco plancha. Pólvora accidentally elbow drops his partners, Fuego splashed the whole pile, the técnicos climbs on top, one two the rudos all kick out just in time. Ring clears out, until it's Fuego versus the rudos. Fuego escapes a corner charge, but gets knocked down by the unmasked rudos. Pólvora sits on top, Fuego loaded up to him – middle roped inverted powerslam. One two three. That's the match, right? Nope.

Do we not have captains in Guadalajara? Stuka and Blanco dropkicked out the unmasked two, but Polvora is able to fight the other tecnicos off by himself for a second. Blanco is eventually able to fireman's drop Polvora, and Stuka goes halfway across the ring for the top rope plancha. One two three.

Down to the feuding four. Rudos are whipped in each other, Stuka gives Mágica a neat backbreaker while Exterminador is stomped down. With Mágica down, Metal whips Exterminador to Stuka, Exterminador reverses it, Stuka lifts his partner up, and Exterminador fouls Blanco. Refs did a heroic job to miss that. Stuka freaks, Exterminador bum rushes a ref to turn him away, and Mágica fouls Stuka too. Both técnicos are rolling around, both rudos cover, Magica adding a pointless senton (landing oddly on Blanco), refs recover, one two three.

Match 2: Blue Panther ©, Hijo del Fantasma, Metro vs Atlantis ©, Dragón Rojo Jr., Mephisto
Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, 07/20/2010

  1. técnicos

  2. rudos
  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 11:04
Rating: eh
Notes: Julio Cesar breaks the news - mask vs hair match next week! You can guess who picks which team to win.

1: Everyone gets a short turn. Metro clotheslines Dragon Rojo and follows with a pescado to take him out. Fantasma and Panther finish things up.

2: The longer técnico showcase fall, four minutes of offense. Panther goes last, pulls Mephisto into the fujiwara, and the rudos break it up to start the beatdown. Rudos immediately take the fall, only delayed by Dragon Rojo wandering off for a moment.

3: Beatdown continues between the fall and on. Fall is not particularly interesting. Fantasma starts the comeback with a handspring double elbow, starting a set up comeback stops. Rudos are run into each other as slow as possible on a missed whip spot, then immediately turn it around. Submissions all around; Mephisto has Fantasma in a tirabuzón, but he has the ropes so I'm guessing that one doesn't count
