  3. tecnicos

Winner: tecnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 12:39
Approx Rating: Good
Other Match Notes: Entrances and music, because we're back in Arena Mexico. My new theory is MVS hates the sound system in Arena Coliseo and thinks it sounds better if they overdub it, but can't get the rights to the music to do it. I need to hear Euforia's organ music every week. Not so much the Tuareg. Bestia Negro and Terror Chino are your refs.

1: Euforia and Stuka to start. Handshake! Lagunero respect, I guess. Lockup, no. Lockup, Stuka with under armbar, tosses Euforia over his shoulder and holds him down. Euforia escapes, only to be headscissored into a sunset flip  for two. Euforia gets his own headscissors in from the mat, and has Stuka backed up. Lockup, Stuka with a single leg, step over, kicked away by Euforia. Stuka charges, right into an armdrags, and Euforia a holds him there in waistlock. Stuka bridges up, around, and over into a sunset flip. Euforia rolls right thru, and rolls forward for a bridging pin. One two no. Euforia whip, reversed, Stuka hiptosses him over easily. Stuka off the ropes, Euforia tosses him up near the ropes, Stuka bounces off the top with his back and comes back with a headscissors. Euforia slides to the safety of his corner, so Stuka doesn't follow and choose to pose. Flash in to deal with Skandalo. Lockup, Skandalo armdrag. I can't get used to seeing Flash in a white outfit, but okay. He looks like Trueno's missing partner. Flash is able to get to his feet. Skandalo puts him in a wristlock, Flash escapes, Skandalo puts him back and trips him to the mat. Flash rolls backwards into a reversal, but Skandalo armdrags him down and holds him there with an armbar. Flash kips up, but Skandalo holds him in an armbar, still. Twist, yank over the shoulder to take him down. Flash up again, so Skandalo twists it again. Kick to the arm. Forearm to the arm. It's the right arm, guess I should point it out. Skandalo holds onto the armbar and makes a tag, showing he's in the wrong promotion. Loco Max is not as stunned as I would be and quickly kicks the arm. Back to the arm. Crank, though Loco max doesn't holds on, he's got yelling to do. Armbar, Flash front rolls into an hiptoss escape. Circle, Flash staying in. Loco Max kicks him, snap mare, Flash lands on his feet, falls to his back, and rolls backwards into a headscissors on Loco. Loco responds with another kick, and goes back to the armbar. No, an abdominal stretch - and that doesn't get on before Metalik gets him with a plancha. That was nicely timed by Loco Max, he wasn't standing there gaping like is common. Metalik and Loco have a test of stretch, Loco skips out into a waistlock, then a headlock, but Metalik slips out the back and trips him up, taking him down on his stomach. Loco Kicks him away with his heel. Lockup, no, Loco grabs one arm with both puts on a wristlock. Metalik reveres it. Whip, reversed, Metalik springboards into a armdrag on Loco. Dive? No, Euforia cuts him off with a chop to the back. Metalik knocks down, Euforia tries to slip in with a somersault senton, but no one's home. Metalik off the ropes, spinning headscissors is countered and powerbombed. Stuka gets Euforia with a flying spinning headscissors, Skandalo gets Stuka with a dropkick, Flash gets Skandalo with a flying armdrags, Loc gets Flash with a running knee - no, Flash staying in. Whip, drop toe hold, kick to the side, and now Flash may be done. Metalik flips into the ring, Loco moves out of the way, but still gets dropkicked. Back where we started, though Loco's on the right side of the ring now. Metalik starts running for a dive, but gets kicked by swinging kicks from Euforia and Skandalo on the apron. They got him just as he was going thru the ropes, and that was the end of him. Flash tries to get Euforia with a kick, but he catches it, chops him and whips him to Skandalo. Euforia care of Stuka with the Euforia Special, as Skandalo gives Flash his behind the back powerbomb. That's the fall.

2: Don't know what Euforia's arguing about, but there he is. Rudos are in complete control, beating down Stuka. Skandalo's borrowing Sangre's corner low bow dropkick, I guess. Flash can't stand up to Euforia's chest slaps, which amuses Euforia. Rudos can't seem to decide what they want to do with him, and Flash ends up getting whipped into Skandalo's boots as the big spot. Metalik in, and held on the ropes for punches. Triple boot. Stuka tries to get in safely, can't. Corner whip, Stuka dodges Euforia charges, Euforia hits the post and the floor. Skandalo boots down on the way in, Skandalo does manage to monkey flip Stuka, but Stuka lands on his feet and gives Loco a spinning backbreaker. Metalik jumps from the apron to the inside of the middle rope for a springboard headscissors on Skandalo. Stuka - runs to the ramp side of the ring? Huh. Metalik flips out to him, Stuka catches Metalik with his arms. Metalik falls to his back, monkey flipping Stuka into a tope con giro on Loco Max! That is insane. Everyone but the captains end up back in the ring. Flash trips up Skandalo and gets him with the Flashina cradle, and Metalik does another leap to the inside middle rope, this time for a bodyscissors cradle on Euforia. Stuka is busy stomping Loco Max into the floor.

3: Loco Max lowers his hand for a handshake, then raises in into a strong chop on Metalik. Metalik picked up, armdrags, Metalik lands on his feet, Loco off the ropes, right into a sunset flip. Metalik waved by the ropes, Loco tosses him up, Metalik armdrags him on the way down. Euforia misses a clothesline on him, Metalik climbs the ropes, and just gets enough of the top rope for a spinning headscissors on Euforia. Metalik going to dive? No, just flip off the ropes and pose. Flash in, and ambushed by Loco Max. Flash jumps up and shoves him, only to be kicked down. Loco off the ropes, over, under, roll over, stopping to celebrate, Flash off the ropes, fireman's carry escape armdrag. Skandalo in, and flipping Loco with a clothesline. Another clothesline, no, blocked. Whip, reversed, Flash flips over the rope to the stage, then runs back for a - uh, it's not that he blew a spot, it's that it didn't accomplish much. Flash lands on his feet after a springboard flip in, grabbing Skandalo for a underarm armdrags, and then gets around to armdragging him. Flash does a backflip and celebrates very much. Stuka's turn, Euforia into face him. Stuka off the ropes, under, over, Stuka thrown up on the ropes, shoved off, and knocking Euforia down with a back elbow. Stuka off the ropes, into a monkey flip, bouncing off the ropes and on his feet. Both men run at each other, Euforia's clothesline misses, Stuka gets him on the next pass with a rebound armdrag. Euforia out, Stuka slings to the apron, cartwheel on the apron to the floor, backflip on the floor, Euforia attack, and Stuka gets him with a spinning headscissors. Stuka in, and both the remaining rudos get him. Double whip, double boot. Tecnico in with a missile dropkick, but the rudos sidestep and the tecnico crash and burn. Tecnicos dropkicked out. Euforia slide in, Skandalo slides out after the rudos, Metalik slides in. Rudos rush the ropes, Euforia slides out and eats a spinning backbreaker from Stuka and Loco gets tripped off the apron going for his Asai. Odd way to get there, but we've got all the rudos out of the ring, so all the tecnicos go in the ring. Metalik's goes first - run up the ropes Asai moonsault! Flash hits a big springboard plancha onto Loco Max, and Stuka sets up for his own moonsault, only for Euforia to shove him back in the ring. Euforia Special? No, Stuka escapes,. Euforia's dropkick misses, and Stuka fireman's carry drops him. Euforia right in the middle of the ring, long way to go. Stuka up, Stuka torpedo splash! One two THREE. That was fun.

Match 2: Ephesto (c), Mr. Águila, Texano Jr. vs Máximo, Sagrado, Volador Jr. (c)
Arena Coliseo, 10/26/08

  1. rudos
  2. tecnicos
  3. tecnicos

Winner: tecnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 7:47
Approx Rating: average
Other Match Notes: Maximo has Monito. Just so we don't miss out on seeing the announcers, they're here to interview Sagrado and Mr. Aguila & Texano during the usual pre-match promos. Texano is not wearing Perros gear. Neither is Volador. Ephesto is in his usual getup. Aguila does still call himself the flying dog in the promo.

1: Rudo beatdown, including Maximo getting beat. Volador takes Texano's headcrusher, and that's it.

2: More beatdown. Maximo starts the comeback on a corner whip, by running up the rope sand letting Texano run into his backside. Tilt-a-whirl backbreakers from the other tecnicos. Texano gets corner clothesline, then his legs are held apart for Maximo to hit the running butt bump low. Aguila is hilariously unable to stop Maximo in time, then misses a corner charge and is held in the same spot. Running butt bump for Aguila. Ephesto in, but Sagrado superkick him out, and Sagrado and Volador, hit stereo tope con giros on the rudos. Aguila and Maximo in, Maximo does the block block block kiss, and that stuns Aguila enough to be pinned via small package.

3: Maximo fares bad against Texano, but Monito gets the lift up low bow to start to turn the tide. Maximo comes back to get Texano with a yelping springboard armdrags. Headscissors for Aguila, running silla for Ephesto. Texano gets kissed too and is sad. Texano thinsk about, charge again, gets everything blocked again, and gets kissed again. Texano want to tag out, but none of his partners want in. So they all just walk into the crowd. Ephesto tries to grab a random suited man who can't see and throw him in, but that doesn't work. Sagrado runs thru the rudos quickly. Aguila takes the backbreaker/gutbuster comb, then gets set up for Maximo's silla and Monito's splash. Volador and Texano are fast acting, though Volador really doesn't get anything in. Sagrado fireman's carry slams Ephesto and moonsaults him in the meantime, and Volador gets Texano with a up and over sunset flip for the match.  That wasn't much.

Replays, show.
