Match 2: Atlantis, La Sombra, Máscara Dorada vs Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas, Volador Jr.
Arena Coliseo, 10/09/2011
rudos
Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 7:51
Rating: good for the time
Notes: Rudos jump técnicos. Volador is still in his Tron outfit; there's a chance he just has kept wearing it the last two days. Zach is with Niebla. Ref is Tigre Hispano.
1: Brawling beatdown. Volador goes for Sombra's mask out of habit. Niebla goes after Atlantis, with Negro chipping in after he's ditched Dorada. Big slap for Atlantis. Volador beats Atlantis around outside. Negro experiments with a Dragon sleeper on Dorada. Zacarias lands the bottom rope 619 on Sombra, then runs back to his corner, stopping to hop. Negro and Volador finishes, Sombra being driven on his head. Niebla posts Atlantis on the outside.
2: Rudos still in charge. Mascara Dorada takes Niebla's armpit. Atlantis choked in the corner. Corner whip. Volador whipped in – no, Niebla stops to pose, so Casas hits him to get him to pay attention Volador whipped in, and Atlantis gives him a quebradora. Técnicos storm the ring, with everyone but Sombra and Negro heading out for brawling. Atlantis gets cut off from hitting Volador by an angry woman, and Niebla sits on a front row fan to for help. Sombra and Negro do nearfalls, which is very odd. Sombra suplex is enough for the fall. Clip? Atlantis and Volador exchange chops, Atlantis whips Volador, Volador takes a kick to the leg and claims it's a foul. Not quite. Atlantis goes for Volador’s mask, which is easy to unsnap and pull off, but Tigre Hispano pulls him off first. Volador tries to roll away, Atlantis grabs him, whip, Volador slides out. Everyone else is in the corners. Volador sits in the front row, but Atlantis works him over with punches. Wait, Negro is on the apron? Ref and I have the same questions. Anyway, Dorada misses a dropkick on Niebla, Sombra and Niebla sort of avoid clotheslines, and Sombra catches Niebla in a mecedora – which causes Niebla to spit at people every time he’s lifted off the mat. Dorada and Tigre Hispano dodges for safety, and Niebla gives.
3: Really not much time left in the hour. Sombra strips off his shirt to get in a chest slap fight with Negro. Negro get in an eye poke, but his whip is revered into a high knee. Whip, quick reverse into a Negro sleeper, Sombra fights free, off the ropes, Negro dropkick to the knee. Negro off the ropes, kick misses, Sombra dropkicks him out. Niebla in, Sombra off the ropes, back with a headscissors. Sombra’s just a trouble maker. Clip? Dorada and Volador in, Dorada walk up the ropes headscissors . Negro boots Dorada into the corner and chops him good. Corner whip, Dorada walks up the ropes, flips out over Negro. Niebla grabs him, Dorada kicks away Negro, elbows Niebla way, runs to the corner, spins around to evade Niebla, runs back to the other corner, spins around to evade Niebla again (!), Negro grabs him, Niebla slap, Dorada ducks, Negro is clocked. Dorada roll up armdrag to send Niebla out, fake dive by him, real dive by Sombra to wipe up out Niebla, nice tope con giro sending Sombra halfway up the ramp. Dorada and Negro in. Whip, Negro runs backwards, Dorada dropkicks him out, tope just gets there. Atlantis and Volador left in, Posing for the crowd. Volador off the ropes, quebradora, quebradora – no, Volador slips free, foul kick is blocked, Volador pulls the mask instead, cover, one two three. Técnicos can’t believe Tigre Hispano missed that, neither can I.
Replay totally exposes Atlantis' face. Probably don't do that. No time for challenges, though time for dancing.
