Match 1: Guerrero Maya Jr. ©, Leono, Molotov vs Bronco, Camorra, Inquisidor ©
Arena Coliseo, 10/24/2010
técnicos
Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 12:10
Rating: OK
Notes: First time Camorra has been on a Guerreros del Ring show.
1: Camorra and Leono and exchange zero count pinfalls before the show can stick on a stationary camera shot. Camera guy ash to walk to the ring and all around it first, you see. Leono gets flipped to apron, Camorra is ad when he sees Leono didn't fall to the floor, and Leono backflips on the ropes to come in with an armdrag. Another one sends Camorra out. Inquisidor and Maya are next, for a long battle over headlocks. Maya wins by kicking Inquisidor in the midsection hard. Some ground pinfall counters. Running the ropes avoidance end with an Inquisidor back elbow and a triumphant scream. Armdrag exchange, both front roll to their feet, had to head face off. I don’t know if you want to go forehead to forehead with a guy who has spikes on his mask. Inquisidor wants handshake, but Maya refuses. Tags. Bronco springboards in! Molotov slingshots in, and Bronco immediately kicks him. Molotov ducks a clothesline, headlock, off the ropes (Bronco is busy adjusting his mask – needs a tighter mask or less hair), Molotov back with a shoulderblock, then a front flip armdrag. Another spinning armdrag, then a run up the ropes jumping one, and Bronco is out. Molotov follows with a Asai moonsault, completely dominating the bigger man. Camorra and Maya in, and Maya stuns Camorra with a nice clap to the side of the head. Springboard inverted tope, one two three. Leono with a springboard into a rolling Rosa. That'll do.
2: Camorra and Leono are in briefly, avoiding each other until Leono lands a jumping kick to the back. It was an enziguri style kick that wasn't high enough, really. Maya and Inquisidor are next. Announcers were talking about Maya getting ready for the bodybuilding contest, and it shows. He's thinner, but more cut looking, and shows off his bicep to start. Inquisidor manages to block the run-up the ropes armdrag, but Maya can not be stopped from doing armdrags: double jump armdrag flying back in the ring! Inquisidor escapes the rebound armdrag, but immediately takes the quebradora. Inquisidor out, Maya teasing a dive and taunting Bronco. Bronco drops Molotov with a big slow boot, then whips him into Camorra's boots. Bronco clears off the técnico side himself as Camorra dropkicks Molotov in the ring. Inquisidor and Bronco together doing dropkick to Leono's face seems like a misuse of Bronco's size. Bronco holds him Molotov for dropkicks from the other two, which is a bit better. Maya flops around every time Bronco hits him, but then he does the same thing with Camorra hits him. Bronco lifts up Maya for Camorra's frontcracker, then he holds Maya for the other rudos to kick repeatedly. They stop before they're warned, a wise more.
3: Rudos still in control, though it's a lot of basic stuff. Bronco holds Molotov for a double chop, but that goes away. The camera follows Bronco wander around on the outside after taking the chops rather than Molotov's dropkick on the other two, but it surely connected anyway. Molotov is sent out somehow, but the other técnicos clear the ring with Leono back elbows and Maya quebradora con giros. Those two celebrate, turn around, and spot Bronco just as he's taking off the the top rope. Flying clothesline comes up empty, thought the ring may now have a dent. Técnicos dropkick him out. Maya tope con giro thru the ropes looks good. Camorra and Leono in, Camorra right back out via superkick. Leono tope just gets there. Molotov misses a dropkick, Inquisidor does not miss his. Molotov ducks a clothesline, kicks are blocked, Molotov step over takedown, kind of an inverted surfboard pin, one two three. Unusual pin there.
Match 2: Fuego & Stuka Jr. © vs Delta & Diamante for the Arena Coliseo (DF) Tag Team Championship
Arena Coliseo, 10/24/2010
Fuego & Stuka Jr.
Winner: Fuego & Stuka Jr.
Match Time: 12:43
Rating: eh. Last week was better, though this was worse more due to Delta & Diamante
Notes: No matching outfits. Fuego only has one outfit. Two refs – Bestia Negra and Pompin! - which is odd for a tag match. An actual Arena Coliseo Tag team Title match in Arena Coliseo requires a little something extra. This is the first time these titles have been defended in this building since 2008.
1: Delta and Stuka start off in a battle of blue-ish green. Power versus Power seems to go Stuka's way, but Delta pulls himself over Stuka's back, and monkey flips him. Both pinned in a waistlock, both kick out. Stuka returns the monkey flip to set up a face off. Trips for zero, armdrag exchange, Delta escapes a sweep to land on his feet, and backs Stuka near the ropes. Faceoff. Tags. Fuego flips into the ring, Diamante planchas him, but Fuego rolls over on top, one two no. Fuego picks Diamante up, then grabs an arm and a leg for a cradle, one two, no, reversed, one two no, Fuego headlock, Diamante out into an armbar, Fuego front flips, Diamante forces him down by a knee to the shoulder. Fuego takes down Diamante. Another reversal sequence sets up Fuego's shake. Diamante promptly dropkicks him out. Stuka in, Diamante waves him by and hiptosses him the next time thru. Boot for Stuka, off the ropes, and Stuka backdrops Diamante all the way to the floor. Stuka turns around, and Delta is waiting for him with a springboard plancha. Clothesline misses, but Diamante yanks Stuka out of the ring. Delta gets Fuego with a 'rana as he comes in, but Fuego rolls thru one two three! Diamante missile dropkicks Fuego and heads up – but Stuka trips him up and knocks him off the top rope. Whip, big back drop flipping Diamante on his face, and the champs put on a double Boston crab. Diamante gives.
2: Delta flips to evade, but Stuka still manages to clotheslines him down. While Stuka is talking to the crowd, Delta kips up, then back flips, then catches Stuka in a headscissors. Delta tries a running cartwhheel into a backwards roll over the ropes into a headscissors, but gets stuck on the ropes, and Stuka tosses him off from the headscissors. Diamante swings in the ropes to dropkick Stuka down, but Fuego gets him with a guillotine splash. One two no. Fuego chops Diamante, who keep running for a second. Young guys are nervous at the moment. Fuego whip, Diamante quebradora this oddly, but they get it together for the pin, one two no. Diamante off the ropes, over, under, shoulderblock, no, Fuego pulls Diamante down by his mask. Competing flips to the feet, Fuego looks better, but Diamante gets the wristlock and a walk up the ropes, then down, then up again for a headscissors, but Fuego powerbombs him hard. Actually, ti's more like Fuego never gets a hold of him, and Diamante powerbombs himself hard. Fuego puts on a double leg trap submission I have never seen before. Each of Diamante's feet are placed behind Fuego's knees, and Fuego holds onto the feet and sits down on them. Diamante suffers, and gives.
Before you can even wonder about how quick this is going to end, Stuka holds on Fuego's shoulders and gets a bodyscissors cradle, one two three.
Stuka in, Delta waved by, but he grabs the ropes and Stuka swing at air. Delta with the Villano roll, one two three. It was quick! Really too quick to have any tension about how close the challengers were to losing. Diamante gives his partner a big hug anyway.
3: Champions are already punching the challengers in opposite corners. Corner whip, challengers turn it around, and Stuka whips out Fuego. Diamante kicks Stuka, and Delta climbs on his back for a smoother Code Red than last week. Diamante helps hold on for the pin, and I guess Fuego breaks it up by springboarding in and inside cradling Diamante. Diamante kicks out on his own. Challengers dropkick champions out. Diamante Asai tornillo onto Fuego, Delta blind moonsaults onto Stuka. That's Stuka's move! Everyone back on the apron, champions stop the challengers from running them into each other and come back in. Off the ropes, but Delta and Diamante dropkick them out again. Challengers rush for dives, but Fuego and Stuka charge back in and stop them with a spinebuster and a powerslam. Kickouts all around. Diamante knocks Stuka out of the ring, and Fuego kicks Delta out. Diamante tries to clothesline Fuego, but Fuego catches him with an inside cradle variant, one two no. Diamante flips behind Fuego's back and – did his mask come off? Diamante holds onto Fuego with one arm while scrambling to get this mask back on his face, and I don't know how that happened. Both referees are over there to try and fix the mask, but Stuka knocks Fuego and Diamante both down, then both Stuka and Delta cover the gem. Refs actually break that pin up, maybe because of the mask situation.. Match is a bit off right now. Fuego out, Diamante and Stuka in and talking before a whip. Stuka powerbomb, one two Delta taps Stuka to break it up, then goes off the ropes for a proper dropkick. Odd Delta hesitation to start a whip for a bit, back off the ropes, up and over sunset flip one two no. Delta chop. Whip, Stuka slide out, Delta slide out after him, chop fight on the floor, they both turn towards the ring, and a second later, the other two are toping them. Four guys down near the entrance.
Fuego & Diamante are the first two to make it back in. Fuego misses a clothesline. Diamante 'rana, Diamante only able to hook one leg, one two NO. Diamante inside cradle, one two no. It'd really help if these guys had moves that were over to tease a finish. Everyone has the casita, so Diamante tries that, but Fuego shoves him off. Fuego slaps Diamante in the corner, then walks him to another corner. Corner whip, revers, Fuego flips Diamante, Diamante slaps him away. Diamante up top, Fuego charges, Diamante drops down tot he apron (?!?) and does an apron dive at Stuka (!?!) but Stuka moves out of the way and Diamante crashes and burns. Fuego wanders over to that corner to see if Diamante is still alive, and Delta sneaks behind him for an inside cradle one two NO! I was sure that was going to work, though I'm not sure it should. Fuego casadora blocked – Buca Storm! Or Delta Storm, I guess. One two three.
Delta celebrate, but the match isn't over. Referees are checking on Diamante, but it's not clear if he's in or out. Stuka off the ropes, plancha is cleanly caught by Delta, who hurks up Stuka to his shoulders. Big show of strength there, though Stuka is fighting it. Fireman's carry side slam, and Delta up. Top rope moonsault misses! Stuka hammerlock STO! The move that beat Flecha! One two THREE.
Diamante is indeed back in, but Stuka clotheslines him out of his boots. Spinebuster, and Stuka goes up. Stuka to the top rope. Torpedo splash, one two three. Stuka is good.
