Match 1: Dalys la Caribeña ©, Estrella Mágica, Star Fire vs La Seductora, Princesa Blanca ©, Princesa Sujei
Arena Mexico, 09/12/2010
rudas
Winner: rudas (2-1)
Match Time: 13:02
Rating: not good
Notes: Dalis, now wearing a small top and shorts, looks so thin. Even with Estrella Mágica right there. Maybe it's just the match, because Star Fire also looks like she's dropped a significant amount of weight. Could just be the new outfit, what do I know. Estrella Mágica is wrestling in a pink tutu (over some shorts). Referees are Rafa el Maya and Tirantes.
1: Princesa Blanca/Estrella Mágica mat wrestling. Estrella Magica's headstand headscissors is a nice idea, but not actually close to looking like an offense move. Her legs are in the vicinity of Blanca’s head, but that’s about as close as they come. Blanca tosses Mágica around a lot, Estrella comes back with an armdrag every so often. Seductora and Dalis fight, but also yell a lot. Rudas bail out Seductora from a hold. Dalis resumes being in total control, including dropping Seductora with a front facelock. Tecnicas try to come in before the rudas can break it up, but Sujei and Blanca just kill Estrella and Star Fire. Técnicas really aren't in the rudas league in this one. Everyone takes turns tossing around Estrella Mágica by the hair, and she goes a long way as always. Star Fire is in and out blink fast. Rudas set up Dalis for some big spot with Blanca, and whatever it is, it doesn't happen. Blanca tosses Dalis up, Dalis lands back on her feet, then falls on her face. At least she sits up for everyone else to kick. Blanca keeps the help out as Seductora and Sujei finish Dalis with a straight jacket chinlock bent backwards into a backbreaker. That'll do.
The Tiffany interview at least makes sense here.
2: Rudas still in control. Nice double flapjack by Blanca & Seductora on Star Fire, followed by a handshake double back elbow. Sujei ices her with a kick to the chest. Dalis gets tossed front first in the ropes, takes some simultaneous kicks, and Seductora finishes it for now with a dropkick. Estrella Mágica stiffens to take a Seductora corner charge, then is whipped out into a Sujei kick to trip her up for a seated dropkick from Blanca. Dalis hiptossed and kicked by everyone repeatedly. Rafa El Maya warns of an excessive violence DQ if they keep it up. Rudas wave it off. Off the ropes, Sujei and Seductora tripped up, Dalis moves to avoid Blanca's dropkick. Dalis back with a dropkick of her own. Crowd very unhappy. Dalis holds Blanca on the ropes. Slap. Whip, clothesline misses, and but Estrella gets Blanca with a dropkick, and Star Fire get a dropkick of her own. Dalis kick, Blanca spun onto Dalis’ shoulder and dropped off just as quick. Boston Crab with the others helping out with armscissors, and that'll tie it up. Crowd boos. Not sure if it's about this team, or just about them being técnicas.
3: Sujei is all ready to jack the ring card, and so the ring girl make sure not to come with in 10 meters of her. Sujei makes due with her invisible card, but gets booed just the same. Star Fire and Seductora have a kicking battle! Seductora wins via hairpull. Corner whip, Star Fire kind of bounces out and Seductora sort of gets her with a running knee. Don't think that's what was supposed to happen there. Armdrag, Star Fire front headstands out, poses, and gets blown up by Seductora dropkick. That's what you get for posing. Seductora whip, Star Fire back, tilt-a-whirl spot goes odd – Star Fire escapes by doing the splits, in such a fashion where it's not clear she mean to do that but we'll go with it – Star Fire sweeps Seductora legs and pulls off another front headstand, barely landing it again. Seductora complains about all this flipping. Star Fire gets just enough of the headscissors to send Seductora out. Tag to Dalis and Blanca, who shove shoulder to shoulder. They switch to shoving like normal people. Announcers keep talking about the bodybuilding contest in November whenever Dalis is in, hint hint. Sure a foreigner's going to win the women's division again, but I fear the fix may against our favorite Canadian. Off the ropes avoidance bit,, and then Blanca just slaps Dalis down. Corner whip, Dalis climbs up the ropes, and back down with a plancha. Off the ropes, Blanca lifts Dalis up, and she comes down with an armdrag. Crowd boos. Tag to Estrella and Sujei, and Sujei is just much quicker than Estrella. Strong kick to the back hurts Estrella so much, he's grabbing her front. Estrella rallies back with a jumping snap mare and a nice spinning headscissors. Sujei stops her with a hair pull. Sujei's dropkick misses. Whip, quick reverse, Estrella gets Sujei with her weird jumping armdrag – only her and Centella de Oro do it that way, and that seems like the last two people to have things in common. Star Fire comes in to dropkick Sujei out. Star Fire and Estrella screw around with a whip until Star Fire ends up flipping herself to the apron for a plancha on Sujei. Seductora kicks a distracted Estrella Mágica. Whip, Seductora takes her down, traps one arm, and puts an armbar on the other. Mágica gives up. Estrella looks like she totally forgot what they were doing there.
Dalis rushes in, and ends up putting Seductora in a nudo variant. That didn't last long.
Dalis and Blanca exchange chops. Dalis off the ropes, l tripped up by Sujei. Sujei off the ropes, tripped up by Star Fire. Dalis casita, looks bad, but Blanca rolls out of hit anyway and put son her own – casita, one two three.
Star Fire rushes into show Tirantes after he made the count, but it seemed pretty fair. Rudos celebrate. Sujei does a great job of kicking the técnicos as she's making her way out of the ring.
Match 2: Místico ©, Strong Man, Valiente vs Terrible, Texano Jr., Volador Jr. ©
Arena Mexico, 09/12/2010
técnicos
Winner: técnicos (2-1)
Match Time: 15:47
Rating: not good
Notes: No entrances, jumping right to the match. Rafa el Maya & Bestia Negra are the referees.
1: Rudos jump técnicos. La Comadnate is with the rudos – Magadan identifies her as “La Nazi” for some reason! Volador focus on Místico while the other two take care of Strong Man, and one of them checks on Valiente every so often. Volador finds two attractive ladies in the front row, and kicks Místico right into them. Strong Man seems more human this time around; the rudos are actually able to get offense on him (though a lot of it are near fouls.) Legdrop/backbreaker combo on Místico. Rudos cover, Bestia gets on his knees to count, checks something, starts to count after a delay, and Místico kicks out at one. Odd. Catapult/guillotine legdrop on Valiente, and that'll actually get the three counts. Místico charges back in, but Terrible grabs him and Volador knocks him back out. Strong Man holds his own against the rudos for a while, but a double suplex drops him, and Volador adds a top rope splash to put Strong Man down.
2: Again, Terrible & Texano work over Strong Man, Volador tossed Místico around on the outside, and Valiente argues with the referees for a bit. Terrible and Texano thru to throw Strong Man off the ramp, greatly frightening the people below. This all randomly settles down to Místico & Volador in the ring and everyone else in their corners. Volador bails when Místico won't shake his hand. Terrible comes in for the rudos instead, so Místico goes on and Strong Man comes in. Terrible and Texano decides they're not so much friends with Volador that they can't shove him towards the ring to take their place. Volador bails, but the other two go to the floor to toss Volador in. Místico and Valiente come in as well, and there's a big discussion. Volador keeps trying to bail, and his partners keep pushing towards Strong Man. Volador circles around Strong Man, and then walks out of the ring! Terrible and Texano shove him again as the fans boo. Okay,t his time for sure. Volador tries getting that handshake from Strong Man. No luck. Terrible finally gets the match going by kicking Strong Man from behind. Terrible and Texano push Volador out of the way as they take over – Terrible corner whip on Strong Man is blocked, so Texano helps. Still blocked. They yell at Volador to help – whip, reversed, and all the rudos are whipped into the corner. Strong Man charges in, Texano and Volador bail, and Terrible gets squashed. All six in, Valiente ducks under a punch and slides out thru the ropes (???), Místico springboards into a headscissors on Volador, then superkicks Texano. Tope on Volador for good measure. Strong Man lifts Terrible into a torture rack, Texano tries and fails to break it up with a kick, and Valiente knocks Texano over with a plancha. Quebradora gets Texano just as Strong Man drops Terrible. That's the fall.
3: A reoccurring pattern: no one wants to wrestle Strong Man. Terrible and Texano have their usual trouble with them, including taking a double hiptoss. Volador wants nothing to do with him. Valiente, actually in this match, gets to flip around a bit until Terrible slaps him down. Valiente comes back with a top rope headscissors, but Texano puts up the stop sign so he can yell at Valiente. Texano gets pulled down by his hair, so I guess Valiente didn't agree. Quebradora con giro for him. Volador in. Apparently afraid this might get interesting, Valiente reaches to tag Místico (who is not paying attention to the match and misses this at first.) Místico wants to fight, Volador want to pose, Místico is agreeable to that. Really, both guys get booed, though Místico gets cheered and then booed. Místico off the ropes, over, flipping run, Volador watches, Místico back with a headscissors. Volador stays in, Místico springboard headscissors sends him out. Místico follows with a sweet tornillo. Announcers mark out. Valiente misses a dropkick on the other rudos. They hold him and taunt Strong Man, and of course fairly quickly. Terrible misses the corner clothesline, which sets up the Valiente Special as always. Terrible left alone with Strong Man and slow to realize it. Shoulderblock sends Terrible out – Strong Man apron dive. Back to Místico and Volador. Místico snap mares Volador, and pulls his mask enough they blur it off. Whip, Volador back with La Mistica, Místico is able to toss him off, Místico misses a clothesline, Volador puts up a stop sign, goes for the mask, Místico blocks, Volador fouls him instead. Great bit where Volador puts a foot on Mistico's chest and demands the referees count. They will do no such thing, raising Mistico's arm instead.
Volador is so sad about this loss, he immediately leaves to go sit on the laps of the women he kicked Místico in to earlier. Lots of replays of the foul, and that's it.
