  1. tecnicos
  2. rudos
  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 11:37
Rating: OK. Not enough Flash, but Cometa was pretty good.
Notes:

1: Virus and Metálico start on the mat, but it's more like Virus gets Metálico n many submissions holds, occasionally relenting to let Metálico have a pinfall chance. They battle for 220, Metálico never really have a sustained control. Metálico's gear looks really generic, like he's had his identity stripped away. Oh wait. Anyway, after breaking and trying again, Metálico gets a headscissors from the mat, and that's where this on ends. Cometa and Nosferatu are next, and Cometa quickly coming off the top rope with a tornillo armdrag. Dive fake handspring gets ended with the rudos kicking him down. Virus and Nosferatu whip him to the corner, Cometa climbs up, and flies off with a tight tornillo the floor. That was a good one. Metálico gets Euforia with a top rope armdrag, ducks a Virus clothesline and gets waved by into a tope on Euforia . Flash, in this match, gets Virus with a springboard plancha, and then the Flashina cradle. One two three.

Metálico flips over a Virus dropkick to the knee, but take as a back elbow on the next pass. Whip, back, under a clothesline, over the back into an armdrag. Metálico off the ropes, slides out, Virus slides away, Metálico sits up on the apron and rolls backwards into his headscissors on the floor. Metálico in, rolling pose. We watch Virus lay on the floor instead. Rey Cometa back flips in to face Euforia. Euforia off the ropes, Cometa drops down, Euforia elbow drops him, shot to Metálico shot to Flash, and the Infernales hold the ring. Double whip on Cometa, waved passed, Virus leg lifts him up, and holds him there, waiting for Nosferatu to finally chest slap him down. Whip, triple boot, and out goes Cometa. In comes in Flash, who's chest slapped around and sent out. Metálico in. Corner whip, corner plancha, corner clothesline, and whipped out to Virus, who just shoulders him and boots him out. Cometa back in. Chest slaps. Top pulled down to make the contact a bit more direct. Crowd boos the rudos, which seems unusual. Chops, and everyone stomps Cometa into the mat. Euforia collects Flash from the outside and brings him in. Corner whip, corner clothesline, corner clothesline, and whipped out for Virus to scoop up. Virus drops him in the middle of the ring, and Nosferatu goes a long way for the big splash. One two three.

3: Flash is out on the ramp as the fall starts. Rudos don't appear to be in any big hurry. Metálico is held by Nosferatu and Euforia for Virus to taunt. Metálico tries to fight back, but gets chopped to the apron, and choked over the ropes. Flash is kicked around. Nosferatu holds him for a running kick to the had. Cometa tries to talk his way into one on one battle, and gets kicked in the leg. Nice try, anyway. Chop. Whip, Cometa over, waved back, and knocking down two with a handspring double elbow. Nosferatu is the only one left standing, and knocks Cometa out with a running boot. Metálico in and miss a clothesline. Nosferatu spears him on the next pass to stop that. Corner whip, Nosferatu charges in, Metálico swings out to the apron, and swings on the ropes to kick Nosferatu in the head. Nosferatu falls down, and gets up looking towards the tecnico corner, where Flash gets him with a springboard armdrags. Euforia in, right into a hiptoss. Flash is fired up. Elsewhere, Metálico apparently tries an Asai Moonsault, but Virus kicks the rope out from under him, and Metálico falls onto the apron instead of the dive. Flash misses a moonsault on Euforia, who kicks him out of of the ring. Cometa gets Euforia with a top rope plancha, but the numbers are catching up -Virus pulls him down from the outside the ring, then helps Euforia pound him. Nosferatu and Virus whip Cometa, Euforia and Nosferatu spinebuster him, and Virus puts on a leg lock while the other two do armbar. Cometa is on the captain, so this is going just a bit longer. Metálico in, kinda of a triple campana for him. That'll do it.

Match 2: Mascara Dorada, Mictlan, Valiente vs Heavy Metal, Misterioso II, Sangre Azteca
Arena Coliseo, 06/28/2009

  1. tecnicos
  2. rudos
  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 14:09
Rating: OK.
Notes:

1: Misterioso and Dorada start with chain wrestling. Misterioso prefers leg locks, but Dorada is too fast for him, sending Misterioso to the edges of the rings with armdrags and headscissors, until the inevitable zero leg trips. Metal and Mictlan are next, and competing for cheers. Mictlan plays around with his shirt before starting. Is he playing an imaginary guitar? Metal takes offense and throws him down, then they have a rolling scrum on the mat. Metal ends up easily pulling him into a cross armbreaker, but Mictlan slips free. Too bad he has no idea what to do. Metal works a foot lock (?) and Metal is limping as he stands. Shoves, Metal tease taking it outside, Mictlan goes outside, but Metal's faked him out and stayed in. Tags to Valiente and Mictlan. Has Valiente lost enough with to be a middleweight now? Does anyone remember Sangre still has that title? Valiente flips Sangre over his back, and it's a battle of dueling armdrags from there. Sangre tries a dropkick misses, Valiente tries a dropkick, misses. No more dropkicks. Chop into the corner. Chop. Whip, Sangre misses corner dropkick and flips, Valiente makes a him flip one more time via monkey flip sends Sangre across the ring. Valiente tries for another, but Sangre just dumps him on the mat, and Valiente rolls out. Sangre walks towards the tecnico corner and taunts Dorada, but ends up with a hand flying in his face – oh, that's Mictlan, completely whiffing on a flying armdrags. Horrible. Corner whip, reversed, Sangre misses the charge and flies out. Mictlan takes off his, shirt, and Misterioso hits him in the chest. Shot to the face. Whip, Mictlan has issues running, sunset flip, Misterioso rolls thru, and kicks Mictlan on the back of the head. Misterioso looks at Mictlan as if he's expecting something, and gets Dorada's springboard headscissors instead. Dorada flips to the apron and and knocks Misterioso anyway, then springboards – into an Asai Moonsault on Sangre! Forgot about him. Misterioso charges Mictlan in the corner, whip, Mictlan sidesteps out of the way. Misterioso goes thru the corner to the floor, walks around the corner, and takes an Asai from Valiente. Metal and Mictlan back in. Mictlan off the ropes, Metal drops down, Mictlan grabs the ropes to hold up, then grabs Metal in casita. One two three. Way to put up the fall graphic before the fall is even over.

2: Beatdown to start the fall. Heavy Metal presses Mictlan into a gutbuster on Sangre, which is kinda impressive. Crossface on Mictlan, who gives up. Misterioso tosses Valiente into a gutbuster too. Dorada pulls Mictlan to safety before going in, which is the only thing making this fall close two minutes. Corner charges, Sangre low blow dropkick, and Dorada rolls out. Metal informs him that perhaps he should stay in so the fall could actually end, and puts him in a double armbar. Misterioso puts Valiente in a figure four, and Sangre Azteca gives Mictlan an inverted powerslam, because Heavy Metal is the only one who knows what's going on here. Scary

3: Rudos dominant. Dorada starts the comeback with a double jump escape out of a corner, Metal going thru the corner and to the floor by himself. The rudos try to rally, but Dorada kicks Sangre down and flips over him. Misterioso sends Dorada into the corner and sets up to boost Sangre in after him, but Sangre goes over Misterioso himself and sends Snare out. Spinning headscissors takes care of Misterioso, and Dorada fakes the dive it with a handspring. Everyone back in their corners. Mictlan is next. Misterioso and Mictlan have a pose off, and Misterioso quickly decides he's got a better change of winning with open hand slaps. Misterioso sells Mictlan's chops big, which is generous of him. Off the ropes evade bits, until Misterioso goes for a drop down and Mictlan kicks him in the face. Misterioso off the ropes, Mictlan takes him out with the rolling dropkick. Sangre cuts Mictlan off with a kick, Valiente gets Sangre with a top rope plancha, and Metal trips up Valiente from the outside. Metal holds Valiente down on his back and Sangre figures out after a moment – low blow dropkick! Metal gets Dorada with a casita as Misterioso finishes Mictlan with the Gory Special, and that's that. Sudden switch to end it.
