Match 1: Angel Azteca Jr., Angel de Oro (c), Tony Rivera vs Euforia (c), Nosferatu, Vangelis
Arena Coliseo, 06/21/2009

  1. rudos
  2. tecnicos
  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 10:50
Rating: Good
Notes: Tony and Vangelis start with a Lockup. Tony waistlock, roll, one two no. I should just wait until they're done screwing around on the mat. More pinfall based than usual. Dueling double wristlock bit, with Vangelis taking a monkey flip and headscissors. That looks good, Tony getting not much jump on his jumping snap mare does not look as cool. That sends them out, and Angel de Oro and Euforia take over after they're sure they unmasked duo is done on the outside. They start with chain wrestling battle as well. Angel de Oro managing a headscissors from the mat to get the edge. Armbar. Angel de Oro flips to a reversal, and armdrags Euforia down to the mat. Elbow kick. Euforia reverses into a headscissors, Angel de Oro gets a headstand with a bunch of help from Euforia. Euforia to a hammerlock, Angel de Oro reverses into an armdrag as they get up. And they're done. Azteca and Nosferatu in. Shoves, and Nosferatu's winning that pretty much every time. Azteca waved by on the run, then slides under Nosferatu's leapfrog on his back. Azteca lays there, Nosferatu goes to pick him up, but Azteca boots him away. Azteca off the ropes, rebound armdrags sends Nosferatu off towards the ramp. Vangelis in, head down too soon, Azteca leaps off his back, stands on the other side, and heel kicks him. Azteca flipping run, Vangelis watches and takes an armdrag for doing that. Euforia in, Azteca get him with a springboard flipping armdrags. Aztec reaches Euforia, Euforia flips him with an armdrags, Azteca comes back in with a springboard headscissors Azteca fakes a dive, and Vangelis ambushes him with a dropkick. Euforia rushes the tecnicos on the apron, swatting them down. Vangelis takes Azteca out of the ring as the Infernales beat up the other two. Angel de Oro is press slammed on a corner buckle, Tony takes a clothesline and a running knee. Euforia Special on Angel de Oro, that's it.

2: Rudos still in control. Vangelis lays out Angle de Oro with a front layout slam. Announcers are talking about other “special” moves. Tony tries to battle with chops, that doesn't work. Rudos have trouble setting up Tony's rebound into a headscissors – Tony's legs missed Euforia on the first pass, so he's got to be loaded back up, but gets him that time. Angels come in with a springboard dropkick. Tony and Azteca go out with topes on the rudos, with Angel de Oro hanging back and aborting the drive to apron when Euforia slides back in. Angel de Oro lands on the apron, flips in over Euforia, takes a shoulderblock, and gets him with a rolling bodyscissors into a rocking horse. That's it.

3: Oro and Vangelis to start. Vangelis would like a handshake, but Angel doesn't much consider it. Angel de Oro over under, ducking down under a clothesline, and superkicking Vangelis out. Euforia jumps Angel de Oro with a back elbow. Chop. Whip, Angel de Oro ducks a clothesline and gets a headscissors. Angel de Oro fakes his dive with a handspring. Tony and Nosferatu in, Tony immediately missing a dropkick. Chest slap. Corner whip, reversed, Tony kips up and out, Nosferatu waves him by as he goes back into the corner, Tony off the buckle with a flying armdrags this time. Vangelis in, Vangelis hiptossed, then monkey flipped. Tony runs towards the rudos corner just as Euforia comes in, and get tossed to the apron. Tony knocks Euforia away, climbs up the ropes, and Nosferatu is a little late going for him - top rope headscissors, spinning backbreaker, and one more for good measure. Euforia has the sense to roll out after that one. Angel in, sidestepping an Angel Azteca charge. Corner whip, Ange de Oro backdrops his partner to safety. Oro misses a clothesline, and Vangelis knocks him down with a spin kick. He's as useful as X-Pac! Whip, headscissors into an armdrag, though Angel de Oro was just kinda dropped down to his feet before the last part. Kinda odd. Euforia chops him, whips him, and eats a springboard armdrags. Nosferatu, sick of all these armdrags surely, just dropkicks Angel de Oro out. Angel de Azteca splashes Nosferatu before he can get up. Nosferatu waves Azteca by as he charges, and Angel de Oro tosses his partner onto the apron. Oro charges Nosferatu, waved by, back, tossed up, and down with a headscissors. Angel Azteca stands on the middle ropes and spread his legs for Angel de Oro dive thru, but Vangelis returns to dropkick Azteca off the apron, and Euforia cuts off Angel de Oro with a spear. This has turned. On the outside, Nosferatu lifts up Tony Rivera and rams him back first into the post. Vangelis Northern Lights Suplex on Azteca, Euforia front suplex on Angel de Oro, that's the match.

Match 2: La Mascara (c), Maximo, Mictlan vs Black Warrior (c), Heavy Metal, Hijo del Lizmark
Arena Coliseo, 06/21/2009

  1. rudos
  2. tecnicos
  3. rudos

Winner: rudos (2-1)
Match Time: 9:46
Rating: not good
Notes:

1: Mascara and Warrior start off with mat work. Heavy Metal is so interested, he spends half of his taking off his advertisement shirt (don't worry, he's got a read one underneath), and trying it on one of the refs to serve as a better advertisement. Mascara goes the better of the exchange with a superkick, but Warrior clothesline him while he's posing, then takes out Mictlan with a powerslam. That cues the rudos to beat down the tecnicos, who are really out gunned here. Warrior headbutts Mictlan questionably low, then does the same to La Mascara. Referees will allow it. Warrior whips Maximo over to Lizmark for his finish. Metal stops crotching Mictlan on the post so the rudos can finish him, Warrior slamming and adding his legdrop, with Metal covering.

2: Still rudo control. Corner charges on Mictlan. Warrior grabs Maximo by the head, Maximo fights back by teasing a kiss, Warrior gets out of there. Lizmark reacts. Triple boot for him. Double boot of Mascara, but he stays in. Mascara revers a Warrior whip, and Black Warrior takes a double boot from his partners. It takes them five seconds to figure out they should charge La Mascara, though it seems like Metal had something in his eye (or just didn't care.) Mascara superkicks Warrior out (warrior ducking out of the way) and follows him out with a tope. Maximo pins Metal after a kiss, while Mictlan gives Hijo de Lizmark a horrible looking 'rana. Maximo's finish looked far more credible.

3: Crowd chanting for La Mascara. This is what it's comedown too. Metal kicks at him fro the apron. Warrior fools around, then flips around on a shoulderblock that barely touches him. Warrior runs into a corner book, takes a headscissors, and takes a knee bump to the floor. Maximo comes in, then goes out on the apron on the other side, bending over in a sprinters pose while Warrior gets up. This kinda leads to his backside aimed at Mictlan's crotch, and Mictlan trying to back up to safety. It's all kinda pointless anyway, because La Mascara is still going, ducking a clothesline from Warrior on the outside and superkicks him. Maximo goes to the other side of the apron to adjust his dive, but Warrior's going to be down from a slingshot into the post anyway. Finally, Warrior gets up, so Maximo can do his spot. This is a tedious match, and that's before Mictlan came in to dance. They don't give us a good shot of Lizmark dancing back. Rolling dropkick knocks Lizmark out, Metal kicks out Mictlan, La Mascara hits superkick #4 of the match to kick him out. Warrior back in, Mascara tosses him for the face first bump into the corner, dropkick to the knee, casita, Warrior escapes, casita of his own, one two three. Rudos go for La Mascara's mask for no reason I can understand, but OK.
