AAA on Televisa #1003 (07/31/2011)
Recapped: 08/07/11

Previously: Mickie James. Monster's Ball. Cibernético/Taboo/Parka. Psychos/Perros. TNA vs AAA. Trios title match. Oh, this is a Verano de Escandalo promo.

Match 1: La Parkita, Mini Charly Manson, Octagoncito vs Mini Monster Clown, Mini Murder Clown, Mini Psycho Clown
Plaza de Toros La Concordia de Orizaba, Veracruz, 07/16/2011

Winner: Mini Psycho Circus
Match Time: 4:20
Rating: eh
Notes: Entrances. Mini Psycho Circus still seem big for minis. Jesus Zuniga gets all three names right! Octagoncito does not have his title, but is announced as in his home town. Pepe Casas is ref.

Murder and Charly exchange armbars and quick pins. Charly gives Murder a headscissors from the mat, cut to Monster doing cartwheels, and the técnicos storming the ring. Some nice headscissors by Octagoncito, one gets a replay. Cut to Parkita and Monster in the ring. Parkita is still a chubby guy doing bad headscissors. Psycho gets him with a wheel kick. Whip, Parkita back with a casadora armbar. Cut to Octagoncito with a spinning headscissors into an armdrag on Psycho. Murder in, missing a corner charge kicked, forearm and Tornado DDTed. Octagoncito rolling pose. Cut to Charly and psycho in, Charly lands a flying armdrag, and a spinning headscissors. Announcers are promoting Verano. Springboard plancha by Psycho. Octagoncito springboard dropkick Murder. Springboard plancha is meant to be caught by Murder, Murder can't manage it and falls down. Murder boots Octagoncito, sort of, and charges at him. Octagoncito moves, and Murder Clown is supposed to dive thru the ropes into a roll on the floor. Murder Clown instead dives thru the ropes and spears the floor head first. Murder Clown is lucky he didn't break his neck. (He's also possibly not any good.)

Replays of the head plant. Match halts while Everyone makes sure Murder Clown isn't dead (by looking from a distance, not checking on him.) Octagoncito still down his springboard tornillo, which Murder catches before grabbing his head. Parkita dropkicks Monster out and follows with an Asai moonsault. Psycho and Charly in, and not in now on the same page. Charly Up and over blocked in the powerbomb. Psycho top rope splash, one two three.

Announcers so concerned about this that they're promotion the Facebook page. Psycho Circus is out to celebrate, though they look a bit smaller than usual. Mini Clowns – Monster & Psycho, Murder is still down - still celebrate with them because they're kind of suckers here. Mini Psycho and Mini Monster are lifted up, and then dropped with electric chair suplexes. Psycho takes of his mask – it's Halloween – and spears Mini Psycho Clown. X-Fly is Murder, Damian looks hilarious in the Monster Clown pink/purple. Perros flee when the real Psycho Circus, in street clothes, rush out.

Verano de Escandalo: Psychos vs Perros

Match 2: Cuervo, La Parka, Ozz vs Billy Boy, Cibernético, Escoria
Plaza de Toros La Concordia de Orizaba, Veracruz, 07/16/2011

Winner: Bizarros
Match Time: 5:48
Rating: maybe okay live, unwatchable
Notes: recording picks up with everyone in the ring and the técnicos attacking the rudos. Ref is Tirantes.

Parka slowly chases Cibernético around before a clip overtakes them. Bizarros are suddenly in control of the match. Cibernético specializes in holding people for the other two to hit. Técnicos get a comeback about 30 seconds after the beatdown magically started. Parka beats up Cibernético right in front of the Pena section. Clip to everyone back in their corner, but also to Escoria talking to Cibernético for a bit. Cuervo quickly sheds him and DDTs Billy. Cibernético takes him out with one kick. Clip to Ozz kicking Cibernético around, though the kicks appear to be a safe distance from actually making contact. Billy ambushes Ozz with a dropkick, Ozz eventually comes back with a headscissors. Escoria slides out on a missed charge, and Ozz uses the bottom rope to roll thru and get a neat headscissors. Parka bit is chops and clotheslines each way, with a bit of knee shaking and dancing. You can tell he's really upset about this situation. Billy is killed via urange. Cibernético takes a bad clothesline/elbow smash, I'm not even sure, and Parka throws punches at Tirantes for no reason. Clip again, straight to the Ozz dive. Cuervo topes Billy. Clips, and suddenly Parka is near the entrance, Tabu is lurking behind him, Ozz is laying on the mat in the ring, and Escoria is coming off the top rope with a broom. THIS SHOW! Flying legdrop one two three.

Taboo decides he needs to wait until the three count to hammer Parka with the ax. He does, and he and Cibernético stomp Parka for a bit. Bizarros beat up on técnicos (more clips), including the ax/chair spot.

Monster's Ball promo

Samoa Joe video package. I wonder what would happen if AAA gave any one of their midcarders as much attention as they give to everyone coming in for two meaningless midcard matches from TNA? (It is good they do introduce these random people.) Video package does not mention what match Samoe Joe is in.

Match 3: Drago, Heavy Metal, Joe Lider vs Chessman, Silver King, Último Gladiador
Plaza de Toros La Concordia de Orizaba, Veracruz, 07/16/2011

Winner: Manaicos
Match Time: 7:30
Rating: good!
Notes: Trolli is with the rudos, and poses with Silver King in the aisle. Silver has his IWRG title. Chessman gets a separate entrance; is he not in this group this week? Did Silver just insist on his own music? Did Chessman? Piero is ref. Metal has his entourage.

Drago and Silver are about to start, but he and Chessman have a shoving bit. Drago quickly goes for a springboard armdrag, manages to kick Chessman while standing on the top rope. Drago flips over Silver's back, and use him to jump into a headscissors on Gladiador on the apron. Chessman tries to climb on the apron, Drago yanks him down, and armdrags him out. Dropkick for Chessman, Drago goes up – no fear top rope flying 'rana onto Chessman on the floor. That was a bit insane. Break.

Rudos have Lider surrounds, and drops him with a three man frontcracker. Why does Nanyzh have a umbrella? Why is she opening it? Clip ahead, Drago catapult into a chair shot. More just stood up into one, but the idea is there. Chair shot to the back cause the chair to break on Drago's back. He's just that strong. Metal in, superkicked and moonsaulted by Silver. Gladiador adds a legdrop. Drago back in and chopped a it. Whip, clip to Metal and his woman kissing on the outside (???), back to Drago kicking and sweeping Silver, then up and over faceslaming Chessman on top. Gladiador tripped up, Chessman stumbles into position, frontcracker on Chessman is also a senton on Gladiador. Lider's move is shrugged off by Chessman, who kicks him in the corner. Corner charge misses, Chessman hangs himself into the corner, Lider backcracker. Twisting STO on Gladiador, DDT for Silver. Long crowd shot. Trolli, kicking and slapping Metal's legs. Lokillo spears him and punches a bit. Silver pulls Lokillo off and kicks him. Metal slaps Trolli, Chessman superkicks him. Maybe another clip here, I've lost track. People are cleared out left and right. Lider Asai moonsault onto Chessman. Silver slaps Metal and holds him in a double underhook for a powerbomb. Nanyzh Rock in, trying to hit Silver with the umbrella but having it fly out of her hand and actually smack Piero in the face! She is horrible! Silver is just confused. Rock leaves the ring and bites her finger. I guess Lider returns and breaks it up. Lider gets the umbrella, and then stands around talking to people. Oh, Nicho is here, but barely shown on camera. Camera more interested in the umbrella at first. Nicho pulls Lider out to talk to him., and to mildly shoves him. Nicho pulls Lider away from the match, and the rudos use the umbrella over Drago. Nicho gets Lider to go to the back. Drago beatdown in the corner. Replay of the umbrella miss. Corner whip, Drago set up top, UG slap blocked, Silver kicked as he charges in, Chessman dodged. UG in again and kicked. Drago jumps on his shoulders, and turns into a double DDT on other two. That was a neat bit too. UG up top, Drago on his back – inverted 'rana drives UG into the mat, though he's quickly up and running out of the ring grabbing his groin. So odd. Chessman quebradora con giro reversed into a Fujiwara by Drago. Piero sees this, and decides to go walk away to talk to Nanyzh Rock, I guess. Silver wanders over, and taps Drago on the back like he's Piero and Chessman has submitted. (Well, Chessman does look to have submitted.) Drago lets go, celebrates, and gets kicked, I guess, but here's another clip. Silver whips Drago, and Drago turns it into at ope con giro onto Gladiador. Metal with a kick, and a methodical casita attempt on Silver, but Silver shoves him up. Jumping enziguri. Spinning crucifix, uh, drop. One two three. Right man lost.

Rudos grab Nanyzh. Silver sets her up for a powerbomb, but Lider returns with a a stick and runs them off.
