One hour show, though it actually seems less than that.
Previously: thumbtacks. Clowns fighting Perros. Dog food. Konnan has a plan!
Match 1: Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown vs Damián 666, Halloween, X-Fly
Plaza de Toros La Concordia de Orizaba, Veracruz, 07/16/2011
Winner: Perros del Mal
Match Time: 5:48
Rating: fine
Notes: nooooooooooooo. I never want to see this match again and there's another one coming. Perros have their trios belts. Psychos have their IWRG belts. No sign of Mini Clown. Monster Clown nearly posts his abducted child. Tirantes is ref. Perros wait until the Psychos are in the ring to brawl.
This is clipped up twenty seconds in, so I shouldn't bother with play by play. Even though the Perros were clearly getting the best of the brawl, they cut to the Circus in charge, and then cut from spot to spot. Double suplex on Damian and Halloween sets up topes by the smaller parts of the team. X-Fly tries to give Murder a casita! It does take. Murder murders him with a clothesline, and Damian has to save. Psycho gives Damian the Air Raid Crush, and Halloween saves. Oh my gosh, they actually plugged the facebook and twitter addresses on air! With a graphic an everything! They must've been watching WWE. X-Fly tries to pin Monster off a trip, and Murder decides he needs to break this up with a legdrop. I don’t' know which is sillier. With everyone else having disappeared, Murder tosses Damian him off the top rope and goes for a splash, but the other Perros pull him out and sit him in a couple chairs. Damian adds a tope, which is a bit high but still knocks the big man down. Monster sends X-Fly out, but Halloween sneaks in a spear. Psycho goes Psycho breaking that up. Psycho powerslam gets 2, then Halloween spears the post and Psycho dives thru the cover after him with a tope. X-Fly and Monster left in – we're all worried. Monster hits his second reverse neckbreaker of the match, and I guess gets slow counted by the way he's reacting to Tirantes after a replay. Announcers do seem to know the Clown's names this week. Near double fall off a double clothesline. Monster is tripped running the ropes, X-Fly throws a chair in his face, the Perros piled chairs on top of Monster, X-Fly does a top rope senton con giro onto top, and everyone covers for three.
Perros unmask the Clown pretty fast – they've planned this one out. Halloween yells to the camera that this is going to happen at Verano de Escandalo.
Outside, Konnan tells Scott Steiner & Samoa Joe to keep up the work Jeff Jarrett, and destroy the Mexicans. Samoa Joe yells about carrying these orders and destroying. Scott Steiner yells that this is what he always does. “I'm going to go into the building, and I'm going to beat up some spics, some Mexicans, people I do not like, and I'm going to take them back to American, and they can cut my grass, shine my shoes, and wax my car, 'cause if there's one thing I hate, it's a spic!” The subtitles translate “spic” to “Mexican”, which actually is kind of more offensive.
In ring, Joaquin Roldan talks about the recent issues with Nicho & Marisela Pena. Camera find Nicho watching from the crowd and climbing the rail. More clipping here, as Nicho comes in with his club. You may want to have security in the ring with you. Nicho apologizes to Marisela, because it's all Joaquin's fault that he's suspended. Joaquin makes Nicho look tall, which you can't say about many people. Nicho finally goes after Joaquin, but security jumps him before he gets the clubs, and then Joe Lider hurries out to get in between. Lider tries to yell some sense into Nicho, and Nicho goes with “you're with me or you're against me” and goes back to trying to get Joaquin again.
Abyss blah blah blah blah blah Monster's Ball blah blah blah blah. Anything goes in an AAA match? CRAZY. Promo makes it sound like it's a three way without Chessman, which might have suited Chessman fine.
LA Park wants to Konnan to tell him when he's going to get his shot – he killed Mesías. Konnan says Jarrett is the priority right now, and Zorro's unfortunately getting a title rematch. Park asks if eliminating Zorro puts him in line, and Konnan lets him think that.
Samoa Joe entrance video.
Verano de Escandalo title match video still doesn't make the title match really clear.
Match 2: Dr. Wagner Jr., Electroshock, Zorro vs LA Park, Samoa Joe, Scott Steiner
Plaza de Toros La Concordia de Orizaba, Veracruz, 07/16/2011
Winner: rudos
Match Time: 7:22
Rating: eh
Notes: To be honest, I wouldn't trust any of those técnicos anywhere near my car, much less wax it. They're crazy people! Steiner & Joe enter to Steiner's music. Park struts on the stage. A girl jumps the rail and races for Zorro, but is cut off at the pass by security. She does get a hand on him. Wagner has his belt. Piero is ref.
They show about ten seconds of Electroshock and Samoa Joe (while Park and Wagner are randomly fighting on the apron), clip, Steiner is forcing Wagner into the rudo corner for the beatdown. Técnicos walk ove to help, but Zorro's help is more standing and watching. Clip to Park and Wagner. Announcers plug the website address, get lost halfway thru. Also, it's 2011, you don't actually need the “www.” anymore. Rudos jump Wagner and start the beatdown. Which is mostly LA Park belt shots. Rudso try to finish Zorro, but get tripped up and Park canes everyone. Zorro is very safe with the cane with the Americans, making sure to hit them in the shoulders and not the head. Revenge belt shots and posing. Wagner and Park get the long (a minute or so) showcase stretch. In between clips, Zorro tope con giro's Joe, and Electroshock forearms and dropkick Steiner out. Clip again, Joe and Electroshock are in, and Electroshock's back bridge cradle is easily reversed in to the Coquina Clutch. Other rudos keep other técnicos out, and Electroshock gives.
Joe holds onto the hold for long enough for the announcers to ask for a DQ. Maybe about 15 seconds or so before letting go. Los Maniacos rush the ring and stomp down the Electroshock and Zorro. Clip to Konnan with the old iron mask. They fasten it on to Zorro, so he'll go crazy, I think. Marisela reaction shock. Turning to Park, Konnan puts him int eh title match, but makes sure he knows La Sociedad comes first.
