AAA on Televisa #968 (12/11/2010)
Recapped: 12/08/10

Four sided ring.

Match 1: Jennifer Blake, Kayuga, Oyuki vs Cinthia Moreno, Fabi Apache, Mari Apache
Domo de la Feria Leon, 11/22/2010

Winner: rudas
Match Time: 8:32
Rating: good
Notes: No entrances. Tirantes is ref.

Compressed version of the usual match. The time looks longer than it felt and probably it was, because things got derailed for about a minute after the comeback, with the técnicas doing the long bit of considering hurting Tirantes. Rudas worked really well as a trio - it didn't feel like this was the first time they were teaming. Técnico showcase to beatdown to comeback (Mari double suplex on the sisters) to more técnico offense to both teams getting in dives. Fabi got hers on Jennifer, but Mari accidentally wiped out Cinthia on a missile dropkick. That set up a Kayuga tope on both, and an Oyuki moonsault to the floor, which was impressive. As usual, Fabi had the certain pinfall on Jennifer, Tirantes refused to count three, Fabi argues, and Jennifer finished her (with a half nelson pump handle powerbomb thing.)

Rudas worked over the técnicas with the belt in the match, and after. Gran Apache ran out for the save, chasing Tirantes away again.

Konnan is messing with a barbed wire bat when Tirantes comes running in for protection. Apache is right behind him. Apache complains about how Tirantes is treating his daughters, like Konnan really cares. Konnan explains he does not! Rudos threaten to send Apache to the hospital. Tirantes even slaps Apache. Apache freaks out after they leave. He really need a better plan.

Match 2: Octagoncito vs Mini ChessmanMascarita DivinaMini PsicosisMini Charly MansonMini Histeria for the AAA World Minis Championship
Domo de la Feria Leon, 11/22/2010

Winner: Octagoncito
Match Time:

Rating: eh
Notes: Entrances, because this is a weird match. Chessman & Divina start, with a new wrestler coming in every minute, and eliminations by over the top rope until the final two. With only 6 wrestlers, it's not sure why they'd bother, and removing dives seems like an odd way to go with this crew. Maybe they plan on using the concept later and want to refresh people? Maybe they just didn't want to do another minis six man? Divina & Chessman are not the two I'd pick to start in a singles match, but it doesn't really matter. Pepe Casas is referee, but on the outside.

Since everyone ends up in together after four minutes, the staggered entrances don't really matter. Most of them figure out how to make it work (rudos use numbers, técnicos get in a comeback like run of offense), but Mini Charly Manson seems to know he has a plan but forgot how to execute it. Rudos beatdown the técnicos after the last entrance, técnicos make a comeback only to quickly and randomly turn on each other, rapid fire eliminations take place, and Chessman and Octagoncito have some near falls which aren't that interesting. Match is a miss.

Mini Chessman puts the belt back on Octagoncito, with incident. It does take Chessman some effort to get the belt snapped on.

Konnan and Dorian discuss the traitor, Zorro's prophecy, the Bizarros, and LA Park. Konnan promises to take care of that last one.

Random storyline video package.

LA Park is very upset Zorro's getting the shot at Konnan and not taking care of 187. Konnan explains he brought in a guy from Puerto Rico to take care of 187, while Park was off in the US. Konnan puts him in charge of taking care of Mesías. Park, at the end of his rope, demands a shot at the title if he takes care of this. Konnan says yes, but Park isn't so sure about this.

Last week: Cibernético and Octagon talked. Jack and Mesías did too. Swelling music! Bizarros attacked everyone.

In the ring, Mesías does another recap. Mesias' arm tattoo is really spreading. Anyway, he's still trying to drag Cibernético back to AAA. Ilegal interrupts to call Mesías “Ricky Banderas” a bunch and talk about following Ricky to Mexico after five years. Mesías wants to know what Ilegal is doing here, and is so focused on him, he doesn't hear the crowd yelling about La Park coming in the ring. Park has a chair, and spins Mesías around to crank him right in the face. STRUT. Parka has an all black outfit. One more chair to the head. Jack Evans and La Parka run out for the save. Rudos run off without a fight, but Mesías is bleeding. LA Park talks about being the original (I've heard!) and tells the crowd to stop chanting for Mesías. They chant for Mesías. Even though thee técnicos are right here, LA Park walks right over to Mesías and yells at him for a one on one match.

Cibernético and Los Bizarros walk in the parking lot. He signals them to run ahead. EXCITING.

Random storyline video package, again.

Previously: Cibernético talks about perhaps being the bicycle driver.

In Arena Naucalpan (?), before or after a show, Octagon, Super Fly and Aerostar meet. Super Fly is angry Laredo Kid is late, because he's got places to be. Octagon tells him to calm down. Octagon recaps the whole thing about nearly being killed by a man who's been running around in a skull mask. Also, about there being an attacker and a motorcycle. Super Fly interrupts, wanting Octagon to get to the point, and Octagon puts a finger in chest, demanding respect. Super Fly offers respect – respect this knee to your groin! Chop and he goes down. Aerostar tussles with him, but La Milicia hit the ring and attack both técnicos. Rudos throw in a chair, sit Octagon down, and dropkick him backwards. Super Fly is joining in with the stomping. Aerostar is whipped with an electric cord, and Chris Stone drops him with a martinete. Rudos hold Octagon down, as Super Fly introduces the Milicia, and shows off a new mask – the Skull Mask. Super Fly taunts Octagon – he's the attacker.

Match 3: Aerostar & El Elegido vs Alan Stone & Chris Stone in a lumberjack rules match
Domo de la Feria Leon, 11/22/2010

Winner: Alan Stone & Chris Stone
Match Time: 7:44 (4:29+3:15)
Rating: exciting for the live crowd, a bit distraction on TV
Notes: Entrance, which are useful in this match. Aerostar shows up wearing a neckbrace and looking pensive, but then decides to rip off the brace and wrestle without it. Apaches and Mini Charly Manson are behind him as lumberjacks – others técnicos turn up but aren’t really visible here. Everyone else is apparently in the ring, because they're beating up Elegido as Aero runs in. Piero is ref.

Aero get in a short turn, but Alan blocks a 619, and the Stones press slam Aero to the floor backwards. Aero crashed hard into the video boards, and recover enough just to escape the lumberjacks. Konnan is lurking around with his barbed wire bat. Lumberjacks were super enthusiastic strappers, swarming anyone who went out. The crowd was into that, so much so that they didn't pay attention to anything else. Match was just a few spots in between dumping people, so everyone was happy but it wasn't so good on TV. Despite nearly being broken to start, Aero wrestled the wrest of the match more or less the same as usual. After the break, Aero tumbled to the floor in a bit the camera completely missed. Konnan cut off the técnico lumberjacks while the rudo ones stomped Aero and strapped him. Joaquin Roldan and Apache led the doctor and security to check on Aero, who made no attempt to return to the ring. Stones ripped Elegido’s mask in the ring while waiting for Aero to be stretched out. Elegido made a two on one comeback, but Chris dropped him with something the camera also misses, and Alan added a top rope splash for the pin.

Joaquin sent the security after the Stones post match.

The doctor checks on Mesías, who is still bleeding pretty well and in pain as the doctor fixes the cut. Probably would've made a little sense to wash the blood off before putting on a bandage, but I'm not a doctor.

Random storyline video package, again.

Match 4: Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown vs Damián 666, Halloween, X-Fly
Domo de la Feria Leon, 11/22/2010

Winner: Psycho Circus, maybe.
Match Time: 8:39
Rating: OK
Notes: Perros are already in the ring, Psycho Circus rush the ring to attack them. X-Fly is wearing his MOSCO jersey. Piero is ref.

Perros take control, bringing in the stairs for shenanigans early, but going for a normal trios after that. Highlight of all times is Monster being beat in the ring, and Psycho starting a “ZOMBIE ZOMBIE ZOMBIE!” chant. Even they don't know their names. X-Fly senton con giros a trash can to start the comeback. Perros beatdown, meant Clowns beatdown. Weapons pick up as the match goes. Monster – or Zombie, whatever – attempts to hit Damian with a guitar, but it bursts before impact. It must've been jam packed with powder, because the ring is instantly drenched in dust. Crowd was really not in the match at the start, but got into it as the match went. Psycho and Monster wipe out Halloween and Damien with topes, which leaves Murder Clown with X-Fly. The two fight while slipping on all that dust, and some how X-Fly lasts long enough for the other Clowns to return and help beat him. Flying sit connects, but Halloween and Damian pull Piero out and beat him to save the match. Clowns continue destroying until the Perros can pull each other to safety. Match is essentially over here – Piero recovers, but walks off as Psycho gets the microphone.

Psycho cuts a promo about what they're going to do the Perros in the cage. He calls it a cage of death, but nothing is on the lien expect the streak. Psycho goes a little long and start to lose the crowd, but wraps it up before going to far. Perros think about coming back in the ring, rethink it. Oh, hey, Piero just raised the Perros arms, I guess that's a win? Damian tries to start a Perros chant. Halloween tries too, and gets booed.

Last week: Electroshock was beat up.

Previously today: Park hit Mesías with a chair a couple times.

Match 5: El Mesías, Jack Evans, La Parka vs LA Park, Silver King, Último Gladiador
Domo de la Feria Leon, 11/22/2010

Winner: LA Park, Silver King, Último Gladiador
Match Time: 8:50
Rating: usual. Eh.
Notes: Joined in progress, of course. Tirantes is ref.

Rudos jump the técnicos and beat them down for a long time, near six minutes. At the tail end, Nygma and Amadeus are shown watching separately in the audience. Mesías starts the comeback, leading to both he and Jack getting in their dives. Parka doesn't dive, but ends up grabbing Silver King and getting out of the way as Park and Mesías come back for the finals sequence. Tirantes refuses to count for Mesías on a spear, then Mesías gets Tirantes by mistake on his next spear attempt. Park fouls Mesías, struts, pulls Tirantes over by his hair, and covers for the three count.

Rudos continue to beat up on the técnicos after the match.

Random storyline video package, again.

Cibernético music plays, and he walks to the ring. Beatdown still goes on. Cibernético weaves the Bizarros in the ring. Taboo and Nygma were hanging in the crowd somewhere. Rudos bail. Bizarros surround Mesías. Clip. Parka has a microphone, talking about the Bizarros beating up Jack last week. Parka starts to talk about Octagon when Park pulls Mesías out of the ring and beats him up more, totally stealing the spotlight of the angle that's supposed to go on. LA Park being La Park. Bizarros run him off again. Parka starts swearing at Cibernético, but also offers a handshake. Cibernético accepts – just so he can kick and stunner him. Again, Parka deserved it. Bizarros beat up jack again too. Chokeslam on Jack does not look good. Bizarros take off Park's mask and stomp him into the mat. Joaquin Roldan leads the Psycho Circus and various people from AAA into walking to the ring. Bizarros take off before they get there. Hey, Mari Apache. Cibernético talks and forgets his words and talks more and there's many crowd shots in here. Eventually, we get to Cibernético promising a surprise for Guerra de Titanes. Joaquin promises a war for Guerra.

Dorian and Konnan watch this on TV, and like the idea of Cibernético vs La Parka.

Storyline recaps: Parka vs Cibernético, Psycho Circus vs Perros del Mal and Zorro vs Wagner. And they’re done
