AAA on Televisa #965 (11/20/2010)
Recapped: 11/13/10

This show may be taking place in the world's most giant barn.

Match 1: Cinthia Moreno, Gato Eveready, Mari Apache vs Kayuga, Oyuki, Yuriko
Deportivo Metropolitano de Neza, 10/31/2010

Winner: técnicos
Match Time: 6:23
Rating: OK
Notes: Joshi sisters are Kayuga & Oyuki here, totally different elsewhere. Kayuga is Kitsune from previous weeks. Tropicasas is ref.

Matchups are Kayuga/Mari, Yuriko/Gato (oddly booed after his exchange) and then everyone just beats up Mari to start the beatdown. Yuriko gives Cinthia a giant swing, expecting for someone to add in the dropkick, except Oyuki & Kayuga just stand and applaud. They're impressed! They do dropkick after Cinthia's dropped to the mat. Very much the sort of beatdown where Yuriko does a move while the sisters, then the sisters do a combo while Yuriko watches, then there's a random clip. Corner charges transcend language barriers. Gato tries to a double inverted bridging chinlock and almost pulls it off -that's sort of how the comeback starts. Cinthia gives Yuriko a fierce double stomp as she's held up in the air. Quickly to the end game from there. Gato gets Yuriko with his tornillo, Mari takes out the newbies with a double clotheslines, and Cinthia adds a missile dropkick to send them out. Cinthia lands her tope con giro dive on both women, and holds them for Mari's tope, which takes out the whole pile. Back to Gato and Yuriko, Gato evades for two passes, then drops Yuriko with a hammerlock front slam.

Konnan is bragging about LAX to La Militia. Decnnis asks about LA Park, and Konnan says they're having some contract issues, but they've been reenforced by Skull Mask and are in good shape. As everyone goes to leave, Billy Boy – looking as doubtful as ever – stays back to make a phone call. We don't hear it, but Billy surely is getting himself into trouble.

Air Force talk backstage, and this is going bad before it even starts. Laredo and Aero mention Super Fly's quick recovery from last week's injury, and Super Fly says, as the leader, he needs to be there for his team. Laredo & Aero explain, once again, that there's no leader in the group, but Super Fly refuses to accept that concept. Super Fly notes that Aerostar won Copa Antonio Pena and “the fans still don't know your name”, and also Laredo needs to listen more and talk less. Aerostar is able to keep Laredo from murdering Super Fly, so far.

Match 2: Aerostar, Laredo Kid, Súper Fly vs Billy Boy, Chris Stone, Decnnis
Deportivo Metropolitano de Neza, 10/31/2010

Winner: rudos
Match Time: 9:27
Rating: good for the angkle
Notes: Tirantes is ref. Crowd is very on him. No entrances so far. Chris teammates try to hold him back from attacking Aerostar, but then let him go and start the beatdown that way.

Beatdown includes Aerostar being thrown into the crowd, Super Fly taking a backdrop to the floor, and everyone pausing to salute each other. You know, Super Fly should point out that the Militia has a leader and they seem to be doing well. Decnnis bops Aerostar with the helmet, then does a celebratory dance. Decnnis & Billy press slam Aerostar out of the ring, back first, and Aero crashes and burns on the mat. Totally insane. Two security guys and Laredo are quickly over. Replay shows Aero got his legs caught in the ropes on the way over, but he had absolutely no way of breaking the fall. Clip in here, and Aero is back in 15 seconds later. Super Fly start the comeback, tracking the Militia into kicking and spearing each other. That's why he's the leader! Super Fly goes for the Space Tiger Flying Drop, pulls up, grabs his knee, and rolls out. Super Fly waves off the match and walks off! Super Fly is so hurt, that he finds some female fans to hug. Hmmm. Female fans are totally plants, by the way. Back in the ring, Aero and Laredo make a 2 on 3 comeback. Decnnis spears the post and they throw the other two out. Aerostar does a splash off Laredo's shoulders, then Laredo adds a 450. Good time for a cover, but they both wander around posing. Double 619 for Decnnis. Laredo & Aero may not be aware they're down a man here. Decnnis bops Aero with the helmet, and Tirantes teases a DQ, which seems to ruin the flow here.

Laredo & Aero finally figure out Super Fly is still with the same five girls he's been with the for the last two minutes, and wander over to argue with him. Militia recover, attack Aero & Laredo (but not Super Fly) and bring them back to the ring. Super Fly walks off as his friends are being finished – poor time to cut to Super Fly as they miss Billy and Decnnis moves, but back for Chris landing his walking the ropes splash. One two NO? Aero takes out Billy, but stands around until Chris returns to attack him. Boost, Aero headscissors out Chris, Laredo returns to get Decnnis. This match is still going. Laredo moonsaults Billy on the floor, then drags him into position for something that'll probably be dumb – yep, Aerostar does a running senton con giro to the floor, really only barely getting Billy. Aero really wants to get hurt this match. Laredo springboard dropkicks Chris, wheel kick and a suplex for Laredo. Chris returns to kick Laredo and crucifix powerbomb into the corner. Decnnis DDT, Chris Death Valley Driver, one two three.

Militia celebrate, shoot imaginary guns. Aerostar gets his leg checked on.

No vignettes!

Match 3: Monster Clown, Murder Clown, Psycho Clown vs Damián 666, Halloween, Super Crazy
Deportivo Metropolitano de Neza, 10/31/2010

Winner: no contest
Match Time: 10:10 4:13 + 5:57)
Rating: interesting angle until the ending
Notes: Psycho is happily dancing to the ring, with a head in a bag attached to a stick, with the Perros rush over and clock him with cookie sheets. Guess the match is starting. There's barbed wire wrapped around two sides of the ring

Perros absolutely destroy the Circus early on. Masks are ripped, and all the clowns are bleeding due to the barbed wire before long. Damian has a barbed wire bat, which he uses to start some of the cuts. Rudos go for a pinfall, with everyone coming, but Monster kicks out at 2 (and Tirantes doesn't count fast.) Crowd is crazy into the Psycho Circus, peaking up as the beating goes.

A chair table is set up, and Perros pour thumbtacks count it, because we don't need to build these things. Psycho reverses whatever Halloween wanted to go for, and powerbombs him thru the thumbtack table. Psycho ended up with a lot of painful thumbtacks in his arm, bad on how he was reacting. Remaining rudos work over Murder Clown, but when they whip Tirantes in for a corner clothesline, Murder grabs him, presses him, and tosses him on to all the rudos. Full fledged comeback from there. Damian gets crotched on barbed wire ropes, which is not fun. Clowns set up another table, put Damian on it, and Monster stands on Murder's back. They've got a longer way to walk than usual, but make it for the splash thru the table. Has Monster Clown lost weight? Watching this on my computer, so maybe everyone just seems smaller. Murder Clown powerslams Tirantes, and Psycho adds a top rope headbutt. Piero and Gran Apache run out, shrugging their shoulders. Tirantes has been physically getting himself involved in the match and Tirantes is Tirantes, so that act by the Psycho Circus didn't feel over the top, but apparently that's the idea. Anyway, Piero get stomped as he rolled in, rolling him right back out. Corner whip, corner splash for Gran Apache. Perros run back in and the brawl breaks back out, this time even. Joaquin Roldan slowly walks out, with about five security guys behind him, and waves them in. Perros leave as security comes in, but the Psycho Clowns beats them up as well. Joaquin Roldan goes into the ring where 7 people have been laid out with barbed wire all around, and yells at the Circus. Crowd boos Joaquin and chants very loudly for the Psycho Circus. (Arturo claims that's a Perros chant.) Joaquin tells them to go to the back, which is an odd way to end this segment.

Oh, wait, Halloween is yelling at Psycho Clowns, that seems unwise. Halloween does it while backing up towards the entrance. Damian challenges for the masks. Joaquin yells at the Clowns again, but the two teams brawl at the entrance and to backstage.

Aerostar stalks to Octagon about Super Fly! So happy someone remembered this. Aerostar explains to Octagon how Super Fly has been giving him and Laredo nothing but trouble when up walks Super Fly, wondering why he's rolling his own bags around instead of Aerostar. Octagon takes over the conversation. Super Fly is very respectful for him, but when Octagon suggests he needs to work together with Aero & Laredo for the sake of AAA, Super Fly explains he's focused on himself and his own path. Octagon bids him adieu, and tells Aero that some black hand has gotten in Super Fly's – Konnan, Dorian, someone and he's not sure what he can do, but Octagon does offer whatever help he can. They wander off in another direction.

Bizarro vignette: Amadeus.

Bizarro vignette: Nygma – where he sees the other vignettes happen and gets headaches. I can see that. I think Cibernético stops Nygma from cutting out his own eyes.

Bizarros enter a room!

Joaquin thanks Ozz & Cuervo for joining the fight. They said it was a tough decision and a hard war, but they decided to stay with AAA. Joaquin, who does not watch his own TV show I guess, repeatedly asks if Escoria is also with them here today. Ozz & Cuervo evade. I do not believe Joaquin Roldan has ever really wanted to know if Escoria is there.

Match 4: Cuervo & Ozz vs Chessman & Zorro
Deportivo Metropolitano de Neza, 10/31/2010

Winner: Cuervo & Ozz
Match Time: 8:36 (6:12+2:24)
Rating: okay
Notes: Rudos are already jumping the técnicos as they roll in the ring to start the match when they join. Piero is ref.

Arturo again brings up to date on the La Secta storyline, mentioning Espiritu is allied with these two – I really like that they're explaining this a lot, because this is something that needed it – but again, no one on the show seems to know Escoria is with Cibernético. I could've sworn he ran in last week with Taboo. Maybe we're not supposed to realize that was Escoria? Even though it looks like Escoria?

Beatdown for the first 3:30, but Ozz recovers from a boost for a nice headscissors , and the Sect takes off from there. Lots of quick double teams, culminating with a chest/spine kick on Chessman. Sect pose. Cuervo retrieves a chair, and manages to hit Chessman in the head as Chessman tries kick him at the same time. Piero pulls the chair away to prevent more, and the rudos regroup on the outside. Cuervo gets a showcase before a break. For a guy who hasn't gotten a lot of chance for it, he has some good basic técnico offense.

Ozz's turn when they return, starting off with a top rope tornillo for a near fall on Zorro. Sect are treated as on the same level with these rudos, but then these rudos usually operate that way. Chessman and Ozz take each other with a clothesline, causing the others to come in for two counts. Cuervo gets an in ring sprigboard tope con giro on Zorro, who rolls out and takes Ozz's thru the rope tornillo. Skull Mask, now with a Skull Bandana, jumps on the apron to distracts Cuervo, and Chessman spears him. Slam, and Chessman goes up. Chessman – Startdust press? Camera shot misses half of it – misses, and Cuervo kicks him in the head. Cuervo goes up, connects on the senton con giro, one two three. Clean win.

Skull Mask posts Ozz on the outside, and eh and Zorro beat up Cuervo in the ring. Ozz makes it back in, which his is good because Zorro hadn't gotten to use his cane all match and there we go. La Militia run out to help the beatdown. Random music plays – yep, the Bizarros. Taboo out first, kick almost hits Decnnis in the head and I guess that was the idea. Taboo waves on someone else to come, waits, and is backed up by Nygma and Amadeus, who spear the other Militia members. Escoria shows up last, running past them into the ring. Chessman and Zorro look at them and try to attack, and it goes poorly for them. Announcers discuss how awesome Nygma is. La Parka runs out to swing a chair at Skull Mask, who flees. Bizarros are looking at Parka when they cut away from this.

Konnan and Dorian are talking about Cibernético when they see Joaquin, and walk the other way. Joaquin shakes his head. I have no idea what the point of this was except to make sure Konnan and Dorian made the show.
