Match 1: Alan Stone, Jennifer Blake, Mini Abismo Negro, Yuriko vs Cinthia Moreno, El Elegido, Octagoncito, Pimpinela Escarlata
Plaza de Toros La Concorida, Orizaba, Veracruz, 08/14/2010
Winner: Técnicos
Match Time: 11:26 (6:14+5:12)
Rating: Lesser than usual for one of these.
Notes: Pepe Casas is ref. No entrances, but the now standard pictures for each people. Yuriko is basically wrestling in a thong bottom, which I really didn't need to see.
Elegido start off, and the end of his sequence is edited. They jump to Jennifer/Cinthia, but there's a big edit in that too. Pimpinela kisses Abismo and ends up with a chin full of makeup. Octagoncito goes last, which works well since he's clearly the best. Per rules, the commercial break sets up a big change of momentum, with the rudos taking control by attacking Elegido as he dances. Mini Abismo is the one who keeps getting the better of Elegido, starting the beatdown and taking him out when Elegido tries to fight back. A bit of everyone putting holds on each other ends with Pimpi hugging Alan, and that somehow leads to the ring being cleared for Elegido and Jennifer Blake to dance and sexually assault each other. That last part only goes one way Elegido will kiss you when you say no, and they will show a replay of it in slow motion. Elegido tope takes out Alan. Jennifer goes out while they're showing a replay of that, Cinthia planchas her. Octagoncito ends Mini Abismo out with a headscissors and follows with a top rope tornillo. They're all doing the dive to the same side, which causes some scurrying to get out of the way on the last one. Pimpi gets Yuriko with the rope walk armdrag and a bad 'rana. Pimpi doesn’t hear the third count and holds on for a moment, but that's the finish.
Backstage, Elegido is slowly walking after – Alan Stone, maybe, we never get a good shot – when he's attacked by Chris and Decnnis. Konnan directs traffic as the three Militia guys beat up Elegido. They choke out Elegido as Konnan yells at him. Guess they're not giving Elegido a chance to join the group!
Nosawa, Hernandez, and Zorro have a conversation, all speaking different languages, all having no problem understanding each other. It starts more like three consecutive monologues (Nosawa wants prophet Zorro to tell him the future, Hernandez explains that the future is them killing their opponents, Zorro – sees a Konnan, and a traitor and a war.) Hernandez still needs it in English – or actually just his future. Zorro says the glory is Hernandez's! Hernandez gets bleeped in happiness. Nosawa just looks confused.
Elsewhere, Jack Evans is chatting up an edecan, when 187 interrupt. Lider: “We need to talk about business!” Jack asks for a moment, tells the girl to call her, and she walks off – angry at 187! She was so close to landing Jack and those bums ruined it for her. Poor girl. Anyway, the important thing is 187 wants to know what side Jack is on. Jack is all “seriously?” but Nicho and Lider are fired out. “You watch my back! I watch you!” Jack says he's with them.
Match 2: Jack Evans, Joe Lider, Nicho el Millionario vs Hernandez, Nosawa, Zorro
Plaza de Toros La Concorida, Orizaba, Veracruz, 08/14/2010
Winner: técnicos
Match Time: 13:44 (8:05+5:39)
Rating: okay but unmemorable
Notes: Again, no entrances. Piero is ref.
Jack/Nosawa bit seemed completely gutted, but they may just be doing a bit where Everyone gets in one shot before Everyone else does one. Hernandez tries to break his distance record shoulderblocking Lider. Rudos quickly take over. Zorro is Hernandez's setup man, including a double over the shoulder backbreaker with Nicho and Jack. No wonder Zorro sees glory for Hernandez. Jack gets powerbombed, Lider is suplexed on to him, Nicho is powerbombed onto both of them, Hernandez top rope splashes all of them – and the rudos decide to go posing instead of trying for a pin. The next move, of course, is Jack making a comeback by ducking a clothesline and landing a springboard flipping back elbow. Break after the comeback, to mix it up.
Jack tries to for a top rope suplex on Nosawa. Hernandez slips under for a powerbomb, but Jack is already falling off, and this ain't helping. Luckily, Jack Evans is a veteran of many things gone wrong, and manages to smartly turn his body so it's his shoulder that comes down hard in on the mat, not his head. That looked brutal, as Arturo notes. Lider beaks up the pin and grabs Hernandez for some spot, but lets him go. Jack and Hernandez roll out as the other four brawl to kill time. Zorro and Lider have some near falls (once of which seems clipped out), but Nosawa makes the save, feeds Jack to Hernandez on the top rope, and moves out of the way for Hernandez's top rope powerslam – only Jack turns into a spinning DDT. Kick combo knocks Nosawa out, and Jack (almost) lands on Hernandez with a springboard 450 plancha. Jack tries a casadora something, but can't get the bodyscissors to lock on, then Hernandez sets it up just to drops him face first on the apron. He's dead. Nicho and Lider get the best of each other. Lider, limping around, gets a chair, punches Zorro a bit, and sets him up for a Nicho bulldog into the chair. That bulldog looked awkward. Hernandez takes a Lider flying legdrop to the back of the head. 187 find chair, stack them on Hernandez, set up a ladder, and Lider tides it down from the top rope into Hernandez. Nicho handcuffs Hernandez to the bottom ropes, Lider takes out Nosawa with a Lider Storm, and Jack follows with a 630 senton. Lider cuts of Zorro, and Jack covers for the win.
Técnicos lay Zorro over a table and go to put him thru with a dive, but La Milita (to Konnan's music) run out of the save. The técnicos easily run them off, then kicks Konnan as he gets in. Nicho punches Konnan – Nicho seems to get in a lot of offense. Rudos seem more concerned with Hernandez's handcuffs then helping out here. 187 set up Konnan on the table as Jack keeps the rudos out. Legdrop splash puts Konnan thru a table – hey, that's a table that actually breaks. Nicho and Lider taunt an unconscious Konnan. Chris Stone finally makes it into cover up Konnan, thought técnicos attack him and Decnnis. Hernandez finally gets free and the técnicos take off.
Backstage, Mesías and Park talk outside Perro's lockerroom, with the big ski masked guy guarding the door. Damian rants. Park points out AAA has no leader and there guys aren't united like the Perros.
Speaking off, Cibernético is throwing a fit about the Perrros and the Legion and all of it. Mesías is annoyed with Cibernético for freaking out – Cibernético blames all the Roldans, but Parka & Konnan say Joaquin is just a kid, and Konnan's the one they need to be worried about. Everyone gets along, and yells their catchphrase.
Match 3: Cibernético, El Mesías, La Parka Jr. vs Damián 666, el Hijo del Perro Aguayo, LA Park
Plaza de Toros La Concorida, Orizaba, Veracruz, 08/14/2010
Winner: Perros del Mal
Match Time: 21:29
Rating: long and not particularly interesting on TV. Underwhelming finish.
Notes: Perros have fireworks. Perro is wearing an all white outfit. Piero is ref.
Perros get the jump on the técnicos and beat them for many minutes. Highlight is Parka using a folded up umbrella. As required, Mesías makes a comeback off a corner charge after a break. Rudos are able to trip hi up to stop him, and Damian takes out Cibernético when he tries to run in and help. Perro walked slowly backwards around the ring to stay clear from Parka, and Damian eventually showed up to actually attack him. Mesías starts bleeding after this. 8:30 in, rudos beat up Parka. Piero tries to pull them back form stomping, and LA Park lays him out with his famous punch. Perros take turns beating up Piero as Hijo de Tirantes turns up to clap from the stage. They invite him in, and he hits Piero with his belt. Rudos go for a triple dropkick, but the técnicos pull them out to star the punching comeback. Parka throws Park into the crowd, and it looks like he takes a fan down with him. Break as the brawl continues.
Hype for next week in Naucalpan.
Técnicos get their own run of uninterrupted comeback. Perro is noticeably smaller than the two unmasked guys. After Mesías takes out Park with a tope, Dorian Roldan runs to the ring. Cibernético has Damian in a chokehold for the CiberClaw. Dorian's punches aren't enough to break it t up, but Cibernético does get annoyed enough to turn around and face Cierbentico. Choke for him! This is not a good idea. Cibernético takes forever thinking about it, and Perro clocks him in the back with a chair. Joaquin Roldan walks out, yelling at his son grabbing him by the shirt. Park breaks that up with a chair to Joaqiun's midsection, but Mesías turns back up to spear Park. Shot of Marisela, upset as usual about the family fighting. Perro grabs Mesías, crowd shot, Perro gives Mesías a single chair shot to the back, Tirantes counts (slightly fast) one two three. Hooray, it's finally over.
Perro and Tirantes pose with the shirt for the camera. Break.
Mesías gets the microphone to demand a match. Perro is still hoarse, but wants a single fall with Joaquin's hair on the line. La Park comes back in and gets into a brawl with La Parka. Joaquin tries to respond, but Damian laughs over him. Cibernético gets his turn, says they needed to meet extremes with extremes, and gets a shirt tossed to him form the crowd. As the Perros but Marisela, Cibernético puts on his Bizarros t-shirt. Fight breaks back out on the outside. Somehow in here, Joaquin decks Damian, stomps him on the floor, throws him into the post, and takes him down to the mat.
Backstage, Konnan is resting his leg on a chair, and Park arrives to hit the chair. Park yells at him for putting his problems with 187 above the group – they've got big plans, apparently.
Replay and they're done.
