Previously: Mari cleaned up. There was a wacky women's trios. Alex says he was going to get the perfect mixed tag partner. Probably not Halloween or Damian, but they showed up. Perros beat up Wagner.
Match 1: Laredo Kid, Mari Apache, Súper Fly vs Billy Boy, Jennifer Blake, Tigre Cota
Domo del Mar, Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, 07/02/2010
Winner: rudos
Match Time: 3:28
Rating: best thing on the show
Notes: As they join the match, Jennifer is cutting of something – a cloth belt? - from around Mari's waist. No idea. Tirantes gives us a double bicep pose as hes' introduced. Laredo is still wearing his camouflage gear; Air Force sure do seem to blend into the back ground lately. Jennifer had the cloth back to Mari, and makes her clean the ropes before throwing it at her. Mari is going to kick her so hard. Tigre Cota plays with the broom before this finally gets started.
Match starts with a lockup up between Mari and Jennifer. Mari is so much stronger, Blake is backed in the corner, then starts backing up by climbing the turnbuckles. Mari lets go, and Jennifer flops to the mat. From there, it's Mari putting Jennifer in holds and Jennifer being unable to counter, and Mari throwing Jennifer around by her hair. Billy in, but he insists on fighting anyone but Mari. He says he wants to fight a man, but, I think he just doesn't ant to fight any Apaches. Super Fly flips in., poses, gets dropkicked. Super Fly comes back for a springboard flipping armdrag, then an armdrag/headscissors take over on Tiger and Tirantes. Jennifer rushes into try and slap, Super Fly blocks, and gets the kiss, though the crowd doesn't react much for the spot. Laredo and Cota, Laredo busy yelling to the fans instead of fighting. Billy gets in a cheap shot from outside, shoves Laredo into a Tigre Cota clothesline. Rudos high ten, and stomp the técnico down. Whip goes back, and Laredo gets them both with a rebound double armdrag. Headscissors for Billy, headscissors for Tigre, superkick lays out Tigre. Jennifer tries punching him, and eats a quebradora con giro. Not good times for Jennifer. Back to Mari, and Billy's stuck facing her. Rudos attack Mari from behind, so Billy's not alone after all. Kick to the back, dropkick, broom broken over her back. Super Fly tries to help, a little late, and is held over the middle rope for a Cota flying elbow drop. Jennifer follows with a tope (?), barely getting there. That was random. Rudos slaps Laredo around, then suplex him around – inverted suplex, vertical suplex, and Jennifer adds a rolling senton,. Dropkick to the head hand back of the head at the same time. Mari tries charging in, and Tirantes grabs her by her hair. Mari whipped into a corner, Super Fly whipped in, Mari puts him on the buckle, Blake runs right into a high kick, and Super Fly gets Billy with a tornillo. Laredo in with a springboard armdrag, and out with ring post tope con giro. Super Fly headscissors sends Billy out, nice tope con giro follows. Mari and Jennifer left in, but Mari is looking all around for something. Ah, a second broom. Mari takes off the brush and gets ready to swing. Tirantes takes it away, so Mari slaps him and and smacks Jennifer on the back a couple times. Air Force holds Jennifer in the corner so Mari can get in another free shot. Match turns when Jennifer yells “Get him!” at Mari, and Mari hits Super Fly in the back. Laredo and Super Fly both confront Mari, and Laredo has to talk Super Fly down. Jennifer gets the attention back by kicking them, and the Air Force guys both hit her. Tirantes starts yelling Mari to help, and so she pushes Super Fly again. Again, Super Fly wants to hit her, Laredo has to get in his way, and this time they get into a face shoving match. Mari spins Laredo around, fouls him, and Super Fly shrugs. Billy comes in, and botches whatever spot he does with Super Fly – it's so bad, they go to a crowd shot as Tirantes counts a pinfall for Cota splashing Laredo. Back in time to see Billy land the inverted Gori Bomb on Super Fly.
Backstage, Fabi tells Mari that's there's just one more week of this. Before Mari gets to talk, Alex arrives, yelling at Mari and grabbing her by the hair. Mari's been cleaning for the women, but Alex demands he goes clean up the men's Legion locker room too, and then tells Fabi the Apaches aren't so great. Fabi thinks about hitting him, but Alex has Mari and Fabi decides to wait. One more week.
Some other place backstage (and maybe some other time), Alex is now dressed for his match but completely freaking out about it to Christina Von Eerie (no mohawk today.) Konnan's his savior, Konnan brought him back when he was fired, he has to win these titles, he and Sexi couldn't do it, so they have to do it. Christina tells him to shut up (which works!), tells him they're going to win, and walks off. Alex is in love.
Match 2: Aerostar & Fabi Apache vs Alex Koslov & Christina Von Eerie for the AAA World Mixed Tag Team Championship
Domo del Mar, Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, 07/02/2010
Winner: rudos
Match Time: 7:08 (3:07+4:01)
Rating: not good
Notes: Christina's jacket informs us she's anti-Nazi. OK. Alex gets panties thrown at him, but there's an odd edit after the second. Someone made some new generic entrance videos. Just the names in new fonts. Fabi almost trips on the stage. That's bad luck. Bald Piero is ref. Alex jumps Aero while they're posing for the title picture, and the fight starts that way.
Rudos have tag team moves! Double suplex on Fabi, plus a wheelbarrow legdrop. Alex hits Aero with a loaded punch – loaded with the flag. Spinning choke with the flag is always fun. Fabi choked in the corner. Christina is tripped up going for a double suplex, and Alex runs into a quebradora con giro, gets up, and runs into a a second one by Fabi. Aero throws Christina back in, and knocks down Alex with a running elbow as Fabi throws Christina. Alex gets control back by eye raking Aerostar (???? he's got a visor!) and dropkicking Fabi from behind. Aero recovers to headscissors Alex, then 619s him. Springboard splash barely gets throw, and Alex forces the reversal, to get on top, one two no. Alex chops Aero, and break.
Aero blows a handspring back elbow, but the crowd is forgiving. 'rana, one two kickout. Christian comes in after the fact, getting Aero with a dropkick. Fabi tries to get Christina with her own dropkick, but Christian falls down too soon. Fabi tries to cover by stomping Christina, but Christina moves to fast again. Take 3: Fabi grabs her by the hair and shakes her around. Punch to the head, kick to the leg. Whip, Christina reverses a tilt-a-whirl into an armdrag. Fabi sends her into the ropes, and Christian jumps off the middle ropes with a bad looking clothesline. This 30 seconds sequence is not her best. Corner whip, Christina charges in, no one's home, and Fabi turns around to kick her in the head. Corner whip, Christina pulls out a sunset flip, one two NO. Whip, quick reversal to a backslide by Fabi, open count, Christina breaks it up with a dropkick, Aero grabs her by the hair to break it up. Alex superkick Aero one two Fabi breaks it up. Alex and Fabi are the only ones left standing. Fabi shoves Alex, Alex mocks her and slaps her around the face. Fabi shoves him again, and Alex grabs her by the hair. Fabi slaps him in the face. Alex tries a clothesline, Fabi gabs him in jumping arm scissors. Christina has to make the save. Meanwhile, Jennifer Blake and Mari Apache are walking to the ring. Fabi gets a near fall, but is distracted by those two on the apron. Jennifer is yelling at Mari to hit her sister, and Fabi probably should back away from them. Anyway, Jennifer yells enough to get Mari to swing, but Fabi ducks and Christina takes a punch to the head. Fabi shoves Jennifer off the apron, and Mari goes to the floor after her. Mari dropkicks Christian, but Alex dramatically breaks that up. Aero's been waiting on the apron for a while, and springboard dropkicks Alex out. Aero to the apron – springboard reverse tope comes centimeters from a colliding head first with the barricade, but Alex takes the blow instead. Fabi superkicks Christina and calls to end this. Jennifer and Mari are arguing again, and Jennifer slaps Mari in the face. Big tough Mari goes down from one slap, and Fabi grabs Jennifer for hitting her sister. Christian sneaks behind Fabi, waistlock roll up with bridge, one two three. Is this one pinfall to a finish? It's apparently one pinfall to a finish! New champions.
Fabi checks on Aerostar, who still hasn't gotten up from the dive. Alex, with the red belt (of course), celebrates the tough victory on the microphone. Hug for Christina.
Match 3: Jack Evans & Rocky Romero vs Damián 666 & Halloween
Domo del Mar, Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, 07/02/2010
Winner: Perros
Match Time: 11:55 (6:19+5:36)
Rating: eh. Peaked, and kept going.
Notes: first match with entrances. Hijo de Tirantes is ref. Halloween's hair is still kind of short. Jack has his belt. Break before this gets started.
Rudos jump the técnicos, but the técnicos quickly turn it around to técnico showcases Rocky is now doing spots built around combing his hair. It doesn't work as a técnicos, but I guess that's not much of a problem. Damian demands Jack dance for him. Jack does. Nothing comes from it. Jack's bit, shorter than Rocky's, sets up dives for both guys. Rudos predictably take over when they return the ring, complete with a really bad blocked 619 spot. Tirantes helps out in clothesline spots.
Rocky is whipped and boosted into a second rope spear, which probably looks a better live. Jack start the comeback on the next spot, kicking Damian as he charges in and getting Halloween with a bad headscissors. Post comeback stuff turns into elaborate sets up for spots with no flow, and pinfall break ups. We're back to Hijo de Tiarntes not counting pinfalls for the técnicos, claiming his wrists hurt when Jack and Rocky both have pinfalls. Rudos get Rocky with a spear, Jack with a 3D, cover both, and still no three count. This is going long. Damian goes up to for no reason, and Rocky pulls him off with a super armdrag. Jack kicks Halloween away as Rocky goes up, but then hits the the ropes to set up for a dive and crotches Rocky. Jack's usual dive still hits, that's nice, but now they will lose. Damian gets off the mat, picks Rocky off the top rope, and drops him with a valagueza for the win.
No post match angle. At least none shown.
Video package explains Konnan and Hernandez used to be together in LAX. They could've used this, say, five moths ago. Lots of TNA footage here. Most Hernandez throwing people around footage, with Homicide in the background.
Match 4: Joe Lider & Nicho el Millionario vs Hernandez & Zorro
Domo del Mar, Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, 07/02/2010
Winner: técnicos by DQ
Match Time: 7:59 (2:30+5:29)
Rating: eh
Notes: Entrances. Zorro is wearing an Argentina jersey. I thought he was from Spain? Shocking for him to turn his back on his home country like this. Piero is ref.
Fight breaks out right away, técnicos getting the better fit until Zorro gets the cane. Break with the rudos in control. Zorro and Hernandez have “catapult” worked out! Hernandez sends Nicho in one, so Zorro can over head belly to belly Nicho to the floor. It seems like that should be a much bigger spot than it is. Hernandez connects much better on his slingshot shoulderblock this week – it does help that Lider is much closer. Rudos comeback starts with Nicho gets splashed in the corner by Hernandez and immediately moves out of the way of a Zorro charge. I think lucha libre might not be on the level. Técnicos can't get Hernandez down, until they clothesline him over the top rope. Probably the second try on that, based on the crowd shot. Another big crowd shot during the next clip. Joe Lider takes a huge flying bump off a Hernandez shoulderblock. Zorro rallies to superkick Nicho, and Nicho falls on the middle rope. Konnan, running a little bit late and seemingly unnecessary here, limps up to hit Nicho with a sock full of metal objects. I'm not sure why he empties the sock in front Piero, but it prompts Piero to eject him from ringside. Konnan just ignores him and walks around ringside. I think we're not supposed to be looking at Zorro helping Nicho bleed, but there you go. Zorro drags Nicho in front of the corner, Hernandez splash, two man pose, Piero refuses to count and awards the match to Nicho.
They totally would've won that match if no for Konnan. Rudos put up a small argument, then Konnan goes after Nicho some more and the rudos have to grab Lider to stop him.
Silver King and Arturo Rivera, from the AAA offices, talk about the Maniacos win the the tag team titles. Silver King is wearing the IWRG belt over his shoulder, but Silver King talks about how their father always knew he was better, and how he's a 16 time champion. Silver can't wait for his match with Wagner next week. They actually set up a match for a week ahead, wow.
Match 5: Dr. Wagner Jr. & La Parka Jr. vs Chessman & LA Park
Domo del Mar, Ciudad del Carmen, Campeche, 07/02/2010
Winner: técnicos
Match Time: 14:14 (9:59+4:16)
Rating: the usual house show match
Notes: Chessman is wearing a Rey de Reyes crown. Off thorns or skulls, I can't tell. Park has the Messi jersey. Wagner has his video game belt. Tirantes is ref. LA Park must tell the crowd he's the original before the match can start.
Rudos jump técnicos. Brawling, brawling, brawling. Match includes spots where Tirantes joins in in stomping on Parka, so I can safely ignore this. Wagner and LA Park get to do the Wagner/LA Park match. Park powerbombs Wagner on the stage. Parka and chessman just kill time in the ring while the other two brawl. This seems clipped up. Comeback, dives, and técnicos showcase. Very weird to see Parka and Tirantes do the same exact ref helping out against the rudo sequence I've seen Park do a dozen times. Tirantes poses and all, getting over being a rudo for the moment.
Match continues thru another break, and Chessman is about to powerbomb Parka when Joe Lider runs in and attacks him. Tirantes distracts himself while Lider eventually gets a middle dropkick. Parka drops Chessman whit his elbow drop, and Tirantes turn around to slowly count, one, two and Wagner supposedly slaps his hand down for three, thought it doesn't come off well.
Halloween and Damian run in after the fact, knocking Lider down and hitting him in the head with a chair. Spear for good measure. Rudos have the numbers on the técnicos, Park choking out Parka. Nicho staggers to the ring, his head all bandaged up, but he's got a cane and he uses it. One shot for Damian, one shot for Halloween, and out they go. Lider throws a chair at them as they live. Técnicos pose in the ring.
Replays and they're done.
