AAA on Televisa #930 (03/20/2010)

Previously: Sexi Star gave Konnan something, Konnan gave Sexi star a beat up Cinthia Moreno. Guapito had a new bodyguard, who was mostly useless. Dorian and Konnan want to the club. Legion beat up Cibernético so badly, they drove around for an hour or so and he returned to make the save at the end of the show.

Four sided ring.

Match 1: Aerostar, Fabi Apache, May Flowers, Octagoncito vs Mini Abismo Negro, Polvo de Estrellas, Sexy Star, Último Gladiador
Auditorio Teopanzolco, Cuernavaca, Morelos, 02/27/2010

Winner: tecnicos
Match Time: 7:40 (3:27+4:13)
Rating: Picked up near the end, though they went from doing zero belt spots to eight in a minute.
Notes: No entrances or introductions, just dropped down into the match about 10 seconds before it starts. Hijo de Tirantes is the ref. Match starts with Tirantes telling everyone to move over one corner because they're not in the right place. That, they leave in!

Rival on one rival match ups to start. They may cut out the minis, because the crowd is suddenly loud for Sexi/Fabi. May Flowers has changed his hair since last he's been seen. Gladiador takes a monkey flip off the apron to the floor, which is crazy. Crowd won't get into Aerostar, as much as he tries to lead them into chants. Sudden cut to the start of the rudo beatdown, and cut in that to a break.

Directly after the break, Octagoncito sidesteps an Abismo charges to start the comeback. Highlight is Octagoncito's springboard headscissors on UG to the floor, sending him in to the second row in a physics defying bit. Crowd chants for Fabi and no one else. She gets in one kick on Abismo before Tirantes is warning her about something or another. May tries to sexually assault Tirantes, but that doesn't go anywhere. Everyone goes back to their corners. Minis start off, Octagoncito getting in the trademarks, then a tope con giro to the floor. Aerostar pulls out the Dorada spinning around the corner headscissors to send UG out. Aero hops to the apron, and this time does a springboard reverse 360 tope. It's actually insane. Aero lives. May topes Polvo. Women are left in, Sexi kicking Fabi and the crowd cheering for Fabi loudly once again. Sexi manages a 'rana, but Fabi rolls thru one – and Tirantes starts counting before Sexi kicks out, though this is close. Fabi armdrag into a rolling armscissors! Mini Abismo rushes in with the Reina de Reinas belt, but decide to stop and yell before swinging, so Fabi has enough time to get up, duck the shot, and kick Abismo in the face. Fabi poses, so Sexi get the belt and smacks her with it. Sexi shows off the belt, and turns around into an Octagoncito missile dropkick. Abismo misses the mini on a belt shot, but blocks him going for the spinning armdrag, grabbing him in waistlock and throwing the mini técnicos down on his back. Abismo sets the belt up for added damage, goes up, but Octagon rolls to his feet and punches him on the middle rope. Front superplex onto the belt, senton cover, Tirantes doesn't want to count but has to – one two three.

Abismo and Sexi attack their rivals, but Aero and May run them off. Sexi retreats to the announce desk to remind us she's still champ, and her amigo Konnan has a lot of surprises for Fabi.

Billy Boy, clearly thinking about the downward spiral of his career, has his hands over his face in some dark place. Outside the building? Who knows. Konnan wanders over to talk to him, and Billy has as much interest in that as I do. Konnan attempts a pep speech, suggesting Billy maybe needs to stay away from the women problems (says the guy who partied with his girl last week!) but that he's got a lot of talent and blah blah blah. Billy refuses eye contact. Konnan tells him to focus on his wrestling and pats him on the back. Billy gives him a look, and walks off. Konnan smiles. I have no idea what any of this is about! Maybe this is the Sexi/Billy break up?

Crazy Boy still is looking for new Mexican Powers.

Match 2: Atomic Boy, Crazy Boy, Lasser Boy vs Billy Boy, Decnnis, El Brazo
Auditorio Teopanzolco, Cuernavaca, Morelos, 02/27/2010

Winner: Rudos
Match Time: 5:37
Rating: not much
Notes: Atomic Boy's mustard outfit is a, unique, look. Pepe Casas is ref. Match is edited early on.

Announcers have trouble remembering “Super” Boy's name. (It's Lasser.) Clearly, the war here over the word Boy. Lasser Boy goes thru all three rudos, with Billy stopping him, looking sullen, and getting sent out via bodyscissors armdrag. Lasser absolutely crushed him with a tope. That hit harder than either guy was expecting. Clip ahead to comedy with Guapito, Brazo and Crazy. Brazo accidentally crushes his small friend with a splash. Fine work, Hilario. Hilario seems to have acquired wrestling tights this week, but still has the straight jacket on. Maybe he and Billy spent time at the same place? Metrosexuals start the more leisurely beatdown ever, Brazo just casually taking out the two técnicos on the apron while Decnnis works over Lasser Boy, and Billy just hangs out at the apron. Chops around. Corner clothesline, enziguri, and Brazo running splash for Crazy boy. Atomic Boy appears to be clipped out again. Lasser Boy almost gets his hands on Guapito, and Hilario makes wacky faces on the outside. Clip ahead to Billy making faces. Clip ahead to Brazo holding Atomic Boy for the other two to hit, only the other técnicos trip and pull them. Out. Atomic Boy actually gets in offense here, headstand flipping to the apron on a corner whip, then getting Brazo with a rope flip armdrag. That's it for him, out of the way so Laser Boy can get in plancha on Billy, then a bodyscissors. That leads to Billy taking a strange face first bump (where normally he'd just be cradled.) Crazy in, legdrop for Billy. Decnnis in, but Crazy hooks him in a Gory stretch, and tosses him off into a facecrusher. Técnicos tease dives, with only Lasser and Crazy doing them – top con giro on Billy by Crazy, tope by Lasser onto Brazo – because Atomic takes a corner route, running up quickly and dropping of with a plancha. Lasser and Brazo in, Laser armdrag and dropkicking Brazo back out. Another rive? Yea, springboard into an armdrag. Decnnis in, and Atomic Boy cuts him off with a springboard plancha. Atomic Boy handspring, but Decnnis kicks him loudly in the back. Loaded up in the Gory, and dropped for the Gory Bomb. Decnnis covers, no, he's hooking the legs and arms and standing up - sort of a fireman's carry rack, Decnnis dropping to his knees for extra pressure, then covering. One two three. Decnnis is happy.

Metrosexuals dance. Hilario watches from outside. Billy – is sadly sitting on the outside. Decnnis goes over to cheer him up. Meanwhile, Lasser Boy kicks Guapito for no reason, except to give Hilario an excuse to scoop him up and slam him.

The Dark Family is standing out on the moonlight. Zorro shows up, says something to Ozz, Ozz says something and walks off, and Zorro rants some. It's a Zorro segment, it probably doesn't make any sense anyway.

Guapito is counting his money, when Mini Abismo Negro comes up and asks why he never got any money. Guapito explains he didn't sign a contract, and so no money. Abismo is appalled, but run off by Hilario. This might have been about the Chihuahuas del Mal bit, but they never said it. I'm vastly confused this week.

Match 3: Jack Evans, Laredo Kid, Súper Fly vs Cuervo, Escoria, Ozz
Auditorio Teopanzolco, Cuernavaca, Morelos, 02/27/2010

Winner: técnicos by CO
Match Time: 7:43 (4:56+2:47)
Rating: weird
Notes: No entrances. Piero is ref. Much like the other matches, this is cup early. After the other two have been in (though we haven't seen a lot of them), Cuervo drops Jack with a brainbuster. Announcers go crazy, and so the técnicos, who try to avenge and ended up getting beat up. Escoria gives Jack the loudest slap ever. Ozz tosses Jack off his shoulder and boots him in the stomach, then both Cuervo and Escoria obliterate Jack with stomps. Still mostly a kick and punch and chop and stomp beatdown.

After a break, rudos are stomping a mudhole in Jack again, but he quickly makes a flip and duck comeback. Super Fly and Laredo come in for their springboard moves, but Cuervo spears Laredo and Escoria powerbombs Super Fly. Jack misses a corner handspring, Ozz charges and runs into Jack's feet, Jack tries to spin into 'rana, but Ozz blocks it and tosses him backs first into the corner. Ozz scoops up Jack over his shoulders and walks off, all the way to the back. He stops just before the big screen to shoot the other rudos a look. I guess this was what Zorro ordered? Why is Zorro ordering these guys around? Why are they listening to them? Cuervo and Escoria lay the other two out in the ring, look at each other, then just walk out, completely unconcerned with the count. Técnicos are getting the countout win, but lost in pretty much every other way. They destroyed these técnicos nearly as bad as the Vipers in the last week, which is the only thing resembling a message I can get out of this.

Konnan, now just driving up (where was he early with Billy Boy) meets Nicho & Joe Lider, who are finally getting to have that conversation about Konnan saying all the belts are coming to the Legion. Konnan explains they're in the Legion, but Lider (much more angry than Nicho, again) makes it clear they're not. Konnan says either they're in the Legion or the belts are coming to the Legion, but why make it like that – the Legion is giving them money, food, and women, they should be happy to be a part of it. Nicho, taking off his glasses and accepting the pay envelope from Konnan, uses Konnan's “business is business” line on him, then shakes hands on this line: “simplemente, don't f[bleep] with me. [bleep bleep]” Well then! Konnan is not pleased, holding onto the hand and repeating the same back to Nicho. Konnan bottom lines it as with us/against us bit, as the Hermandad walk away. That's some issues right there.

From his office, Joaquin Roldan talks about Rey de Reyes. Roldan makes the Pimpinela trios, where he gets in the WagnerManiacos if he wins. How can he make them accept him? Video package of that issue. Next, Joaquin makes the Psycho Circus the lumberjacks for the Konnan/Cibernético match. Short video package for that. Roldan promises surprises from TNA to be announced now. Roldan runs down the groups from Rey de Reyes, announcing Hernandez for his group. Hernandez phones in a promo, saying TNA is the world leader in wrestling, and promising to take over for TNA. Joaquin does not seem disturbed by this at all. Roldan mentions the title match will have four people, including “Mr. Ken Anderson.” Footage from TNA for him too.

Replays of Sexi/Fabi and Tiger/Alex from recent weeks. Oh, they're going over all the Rey de Reyes matches once more, though with video packages and no on screen graphics. Much of this was shown just seconds ago.

Match 4: Extreme Tiger, Latin Lover, Marco Corleone vs Alex Koslov, Joe Lider, Nicho el Millionario
Auditorio Teopanzolco, Cuernavaca, Morelos, 02/27/2010

Winner: técnicos
Match Time: 10:26 (7:10+3:16)
Rating: Fine. Easy night for Extreme Tiger!
Notes: Entrances here, of course. Before Latin turns up, but just after Tiger has, Alex gets the microphone to again to say AAA is getting all the titles. Hermandad are no happier about this, but Alex says he's winning the Cruiserweight Title, and then he's going to defend it each week. Alex gives Latin the stop sign in the middle of his dancing. No bleeping this week!

Alex dances, Latin punches him (of course!) and the fight starts earlier. Técnicos win the battle, with Corleone punching just about everyone. Latin showcase thru the first segment. Announcers call him “Mr. Kennedy” on the first mention of him being in the title match, but do correct themselves.

Marco starts of with his showcase, spinning Alex out with a punch when he tries a stop sign. Hermandad rush him too, but it just sets up Marco's leapfrog run. Marco goes for a dive on the tag champs, but Alex cuts him off with a superkick, screams at Marco, and starts the beatdown. Hermandad actually going for pinfalls on their tag moves this week – mostly due to Alex telling them to from outside. Marco kicks out of the reverse DDT/flying stomp combo. Why are the rudos back in their corner? Why are they building to a hot tag? Nicho holds Marco in a chinlock, Marco battles to his feet and elbows out, Nicho ducks a clothesline and wheel kicks him, the kick coming nowhere close but Marco down anyway. Lider comes in to stop Marco from making the tag and kick him around a bit. Nicho & Lider both end up in, whip Marco, and go for who knows what. Somehow, Marco ends up holding Lider by the neck and and Nicho by the knee. Nicho tries an enzguri, Marco ducks, and Lider takes it. Totally random, Punch for Nicho, punch for Lider, crawl, crawl, crawl, Alex grabs a leg, but Marco is tall and makes the tag anyway. To Latin, of course – Tiger wasn't even on the apron. This hot tag, they slightly get into (more slightly than normal!), though the rudos are a bit slow in feeding themselves into Latin's moves. Superkick for Alex, backdrop for Lider, Nicho lifted up for a Marco dropkick. Tiger in! Tiger out with a tope con giro, almost missing Alex. Thanks for coming, Extreme Tiger. Hermandad kick Latin and clothesline him out (Latin safely lands on his feet and walks away), but Marco clotheslines the rudos out, and takes them out with a big running plancha. Latin back in – his turn for a dive? Well, the rudos aren't getting up, and Alex's stripped Latin anyway. Alex surprises Latin with a jumping enziguri and heads up, but Tiger returns, crotches Alex on the top rope (Arturo pleads for a foul), and drops him with an inverted Gori Bomb. Tiger waves Latin on top, Latin covers, one two three.

Recap: Konnan vs Cibernético

In the locker room, Cibernético say hi to Mesías and promises he'll be a good partner to take on the Legion. They can be a great team! Mesías points out Cibernético turned on him not long ago, and he's still not over that. But it's the Legion, and he'll do anything to take on the Legion, so tonight they'll team.

Match 5: Cibernético & El Mesías vs Chessman & Zorro
Auditorio Teopanzolco, Cuernavaca, Morelos, 02/27/2010

Winner: técnicos
Match Time: 8:50+4:08
Rating: exactly what you'd expect
Notes: Mesías is still giving Cibernético looks as they come in. Arturo marks out about Konnan – showing up last - being a big surprise, as if Konnan is not here every week. Hijo de Tirantes is ref.

Konnan joins the announcers again. Crowd diving Zorro insane with the “Zorra” chant. Clipped to Zorro putting Mesías in a headlock. After a few avoidance, Mesías ends up with quebradora and Zorro rolls out. Clip to Zorro holding Cibernético on the mat and mocking his chant, as Chessman beats up Mesías on the outside. Crowd loud against Zorro. Chessman does a Van Terminator, which Konnan calls a Van Daminator. Who cares! Konnan leaves the announce desk to stomp Cibernético a bit. They need longer microphone cords so he doesn't have to take off the headset to do is. Cibernético is up and stalking toward the announce desk seconds later, so Konnan bum-rushes him and hits Cibernético until he returns into the ring. Beatdown just sort of ends – clip? There's very much out of place sound here. Zorro and Mesías are left in, Mesías leapfrog escapes for a bit, and armdrags Zorro into an armbar. He's not concerned about making a tag, so this must be a while later. Zorro escapes with an eye rake, and drops Mesías with a back suplex. Zorro covers, Hijo de Tirantes fast counts, Zorro pulls him up anyway. Well, that was dumb. Corner whip recovers, Zorro tries to get his feet up o n the charge, Mesías catches the feet, swings him around, and pulls him down by the head. Mesías grabs his head and waits on the ropes – maybe a tag? No tag, and running into a Zorro clothesline. Zorro poss. Cibernético comes in – to tag? I don't think that's how that works, Mesías. Tirantes shoves Cibernético and tells him to go back to the corner. Zorro taps Mesías in the head with his boot. Off the ropes, into a spinebuster. Mesías covers, and he has multiple problems: they're right next to the ropes, Chessman is coming into break the pin, and Hijo de Tirantes is not bothering to count. I guess that last one is the biggest. Mesías and Zorro just roll out, and Chessman and Cibernético come in. Crowd gets into a Cibernético chant. Chessman is not amused. Chessman's really grown out his hair. Shoulderblocks, and neither man goes down. Shoulderblocks, and neither man goes down. Chessman says to do it one more time, but Chessman doesn't run, superkicking Cibernético instead. Corner whip, Chessman charge in, Cibernético kicks him away, punches him away, and then just moves to let Chessman hits the corner. Clothesline sends Chessman out. Zorro in. Crowd on Zorra again. Cibernético shoves Zorro down and tries to intimidate him. Corner whip, reversed, Cibernético moves, and Zorro spear the post on the way out. Cibernético does a roll? Break.

Cibernético tags in Mesías. Chessman back in. Chessman misses a dropkick on Mesías, Mesías clothesline is caught by Chessman, Mesías still escapes to put on a dropkick. Mesías casita, Tirantes rushes over, and breaks it up – they were in the ropes, actually, and Tirantes was pointing it out. Mesías off the ropes, but Chessman grabs him and drops him in a side slam. Chessman positions Mesías, sets up, continues setting up, and lands a standing moonsault. One two no. Fast count didn't help there. Mesías whipped to the corner, Chessman charges and is flipped to the apron, Chessman shoulders Mesías, and goes to the top rope with a chair. Flying chair shot to the head! That should probably do it. Chessman poses, yells at the crowd some. Mesías is already conscious before Chessman even looks around. Chessman got his Chessman chant, though. Chessman till looking around after a replay. Mesías already sitting up, looking fine. Chessman puts him back down with a punch. Arturo Rivera is with me, wondering why Chessman won't stop paying attention to the crowd and cover. Chessman drags Mesías over a bit, and – covers. Hijo de Tirantes takes the long way around to cover. He's in no position to see the shoulders, but is in position for Piero to pull him out from making the count at 2. Tirantes and Piero shove each other and security gets involved, as Pepe Casas comes in to count. Chessman adds a legdrop, one two NO. These referees have been killing Chessman lately. CLIP. Mesías is on the outside, bleeding, and Zorro is choking Cibernético in a corner. Chessman is who knows where. Oh, there. He helps Zorro kick Cibernético in the corner, then leaves as Zorro swings a cane shot. Zorro misses, of course, and Cibernético immediately chokeslams him. (As immediately as anything Cibernético can do, anyway.) Chessman misses a clothesline, leapfrogs over Cibernético on the next pass, and falls down to a bad Cibernético clothesline. Mesías adds a top rope splash, both cover, Pepe Casas counts, one two three.

Konnan screams for 187 and Alex Koslov. They don't show up until after Mesías has had enough time to glare at Cibernético again, but they are helpful in stomping down the técnicos. Zorro and Konnan join them – but Latin Lover, Extreme Tiger, and Marco Corleone run them off. Konnan talks about his match with Cibernético one more time.

Show recap, and that's not it – Latin talks to the announcers about the title match. He's ready for all three guys (just maybe not the match. Nice knowing you.)
