AAA on Televisa #914 (11/28/2009)

Show starts with Konnan already in the ring talking. That's so unfair. Four sided ring, by the by. Not the only interesting thing, but I'm supposed to be listening. Konnan calls Cibernético out – not for a lucha libre match, because Cibernético can't wrestle – but for a fight. Blah blah blah. So, is he coming? Cibernético at least takes longer than he took last week, so roll the open.

Reply of the speech we just saw! Mesías and Wagner talking, and other people.

Koslov Cam: Apparently, Alex is just carrying a camera around with him for this episode, and managed to get his own name in the viewfinder. Why do they always add the viewfinder and the batter strength to these bits? It never makes sense. Anyway, the first hing Alex does with his camera is shoot his own abs, so I'm totally believing hits before. After that, it turns out Alex is somehow in the AAA offices and able to spy in on a Dorian and Joaquin conversation. They are not interesting speakers. Dorian's totally turning on his father and joining the Legion within the next three months. This has nothing explicitly to do with that – I guess Dorian is passing on a demand Konnan had – but please believe we all know that's coming. Joaquin discovers Alex with the camera just as the conversation is finishing , and just shut the door on Alex. Oh, there's the alarm, that'll work better.

Vignette: Guapito talks about the Metrosexuals and the Chihuahuas, but not much about the giant neck brace he's wearing.. They could've at least find one that fits him.

Match 1: Crazy Boy, Decnnis, Gato Eveready vs Rió Bravo, Tigre Cota, Tito Santana
Gimansio Miguel Hidalgo, Poza Rica, Veracruz, 10/30/2009

Winner: tecnicos
Match Time: 8:17
Rating: better than average
Notes: No entrances, and it even seems like they dub in the intros over the start of the Match until we actually hear the whistle. Beside the four sided ring (which appears to be the non-big show standard), two of the side boards (the one facing the hard camera, and the one opposite) are now moving video screens, the standard soccer deal. Of course, these are much closer to the action at all times, and probably going to be quite distracting. Guapito stands on the apron with the técnicos. No walker, but giant neck brace. Dunno why he's not on the floor, but it'll probably hurt him later on.

Crazy and Tito to start. Hijo de Tirantes is ref. Is a rudo ref, or a Legion ref? Guess we find out. Lockup, Crazy Boy armbar, snap mare, Tiger Cota turns to escape, Crazy Boy suplexes him and point to the crowd. Crowd chant for Mexico, which annoys Tito for some reason. Did Monterrey secede? Lockup, Tito hammerlock. Crazy tries to roll away, but Tito rolls with it. Crazy tries a back elbow, but technical wizard Tito ducks under it and clotheslines Crazy Boy. Cover, one two kickout. Hijo del Tirantes is up and reacting to the boos before they even start. Way to keep it subtle, dude. Now that we know the last five minutes of this match will be crap, let's watch some more pointless mat wrestling. Crazy trips up Tito, but pushes off the headscissors, and kicks Tito around on the mat a bit. That seems all off. Also seeming all off is the sudden break.

Back to armbar reversals going nowhere. Did Tito yell arriba? Don't do that, it's confusing as it is. Somehow, this leads to Crazy Boy dropping Tito into a facecrusher, then knocking him over with double knees to the face. Cover, but Cota breaks it up. Gato in and fired up. Tigre vs Cat, who will win? This replay of a knee to Tito's face. Gato flips over Cota's backdrop try, but still gets clotheslined down. Rio Bravo in to help stomp. Double whip, rudos calmly wait for Got to run back to him, then but their rebound hiptoss is escaped. Gato gets boosted up into a headscissors on Tiro. Rio celebrates, Gato off the ropes, spinning armbar into a DDT on him. Gato off the ropes, dropkick sends Bravo out. Gato rolling celebration. Tag to Decnnis. Tito is the only one left standing, so it's got to be him. Tito Santana handshake, which is just enough the rudos attack Decnnis from behind and clear the apron. Whip - okay, try that again. Whip, rebound hiptoss. Tiro adds the top rope senton, and he's kinda squashing guys on those. Gato whipped, and tossed up into Tito's powerbomb. That should actually work like that every so often, instead of Gato always reversing it into a headscissors. Though Tito should probably make an attempt to actually catch him. Cota adds a flying elbow drop. Crazy Boy kicked as he comes in. Whip, Crazy Boy goes over, waved by, Rio Bravo spinebuster, Other two slide up and set him up on the apron, and Cota dropkicks him into a running powerbomb on the floor. Crazy ends up the aisle, which is going to be hard for Tito to senton. Many replays of the powerbomb instead. Rudos have Guapito in the ring as the match picks up. Are they going to play catch the mini? No, he's sat on the middle buckle and slapped around. Decnnis jumps the técnicos, to save his friend, but he and the others are fought off. Rudos get the técnicos in corners, and whip them into each other (sorta). Timing not so great on that. Crazy leans on the ropes, so Rio Bravo get tossed by Tiger Cota into a dropkick on Crazy. One for Gato too, and those two técnicos roll out. Decnnis blocks them from hitting Guapito. Rudos set up a boosted dropkick on him, but Decnnis moves and Guapito holds onto get out of the way in time. Rio Bravo ends up crotching on the top rope, and Gato pulls him down in the tree of woe to beat him up. Meanwhile, Crazy DDTs the other two rudos, and Gato holds them in an inverted facelock for dual dropkicks to the face by the other técnicos. Hijo de Tirantes tries to warn Guapito into leaving, and Guapito throws a punch on him. That does clear him out of the way, and leads to a triple dropkick to the head on Bravo. Replay of Guapito's violence. Back life, Tiger and Crazy fight, with Tito landing a Devil's Wings. Decnnis breaks that up with a dropkick to the face. Whip, spinebuster, turned around into a inverted campana, dropped into a gutbuster. Decnnis has ideas! Just not what to do next. Rio Bravo comes in to kick him, but Decnnis reverses a whip, and loads him in the Gory Stretch. Rudos break that up with kicks, and Rio Bravo reverses it into a sunset flip. One two NO. Hijo de Tirantes counting normally there. All six guys fighting in a middle now. Crazy has a pointlessly complex move on Tiger Cota, then backdrops Tito Santana to the apron, allowing Gato kick him out. Decnnis and Rio left in here, and Gato's next out – tornillo to the floor. Crazy and Cota left, Crazy misses a clothesline, and Cota topes the two on the floor. Crazy to the apron – Asai moonsault onto the three. Bravo and Decnnis left – Bravo going for a dive, but Decnnis cuts him off with a plancha. Rio Bravo misses a clothesline and takes a flip for no reason at all. Decnnis kicks him, loads him in the Gory stretch, and drops down – Gory Special, cover, one two three. Slow, but he did count three.

Decnnis and Guapito celebrate big. Técnicos are happy.

Promo: Mesías mad-libs. Oh, he's angry with a Box Y Lucha article, where Wagner claims he's got no competition. Mesías says he'd be a competition if he got a one on one match. And then keeps on talking. He wants another shot. Hey, I want a shot too, I don't think either of should be getting it. Hand on a camera, now I know he's intense.

Vignette: Sexi Star runs into Rain. They agree to work together. They've both proven they can beat the Apaches, so they should have no problem together. Nice of Sexi to get over the whole “being beat up by the foreign women for no reason” stuff – though I guess it was the two blondes, and not Rain, who did it. Rain does her promo in English, and Sexi responds in such. Decleration: Sexi Star must do all future promos in English. She's so happy in that part.

Match 2: Fabi Apache, Gran Apache, Mari Apache vs Rain, Sexy Star, Teddy Hart
Gimansio Miguel Hidalgo, Poza Rica, Veracruz, 10/30/2009

Winner: Rudos
Match Time: 8:24
Rating: fun!
Notes: No entrances. Noticing a pattern! They don't even really introduced the teams, which is a bit odd. Hey, Gran Apache must've gotten over the elbow injury? No captains. Maybe no start of the match, or a weird timed crowd shot too. Rain and Fabi in to start. Fabi waistlock, Rain spun around, single leg takedown, Rain flipped onto her stomach, Fabi ties the legs and pulls Rain's hair, and the ref warns her. Rain breaks free to an armbar, and they battle over those for a times before Fabi get the arm drag. Zero leg trips, face off – and Teddy suddenly kills Fabi with a clothesline! Teddy Hart is one of a kind. Gran Apache slaps Rain in the back of the head to get rid of her, then deals with Teddy. Clotheslines misses, Gran Apache armdrag, armdrag, armdrag blocked this time, Teddy pulling him in a Russian legsweep. Teddy has a hop in his step. I'm scared. Punches from Teddy. Crowd getting on the rudos, Teddy distracted. More punches. Corner whip, Apache reversed, Teddy kips and out and locks on a waistlock, Gran Apache reverses to his own. Teddy back elbows free, springboard off the middle rope, off the top rope and out. Apache dropkicks Teddy down and Teddy rolls out to be free. Apache teases a dive to the point where Teddy starts to warn him off, but it's a fake. Tag to Mari. Sexi Star in to face her, and/or walk around all girly. Sexi turns to yell at the crowd, turns back to Mari, and gets hammered by a clothesline. Crowd approves. Whip, reversed, Sexi back bridges under a clothesline, but Mari armdrags her next time. Sexi sent into the ropes, spun into a backbreaker. Sexi rolls out and grabs her back, and Teddy comes over to help rub it. What happened to Nikki, anyway? Crowd appears to have similar question, based on their reaction. Rain watches, amused. Sexi does not appear to appreciate the concern – she's a kept woman, after all. Rain and Fabi in, and just as Fabi is shaking Ran by her hair again, Sexi breaks it up with kicks to the back. Both rudas kick Fabi around, with Sexi giving Pepe Casas a piece of his mind. Rain headbutts Fabi, which doesn't look so good. Rain waves at Sexi Star to come over, and Sexi eventually figures it out. Faceslam there, Teddy takes care of the other two in the meantime. Teddy lifts Fabi up into a suplex, then drops her into a cradle DDT. Camel clutch variant on her. Gran Apache comes in and chokes Sexi Star, but Rain is enough to throw Gran Apache out. Sexi cuts off Mari with kicks, and boot chokes her with help from Rain. Double boot choke, twice the choking. Teddy adds a kick. Whip, drop toe hold, by Sexi, running elbow drop by rain, standing on the back - by Teddy. Oh, he's doing a standing moonsault too. Camel clutch choke there too. Gran Apache gets in to help, but is kicked around by the women. Mari kicks Fabi away from the ring too. Mari tries to roll out when Teddy lets go, but Sexi throws her out by her hair first. Gran Apache worked over in the corner. Tropicasas warning Rain works even less than it does with the others, because she appears to have no idea what he's saying. Corner whip, Sexi whipped in after with a running kick, Rain whipped after with a running forearm maybe. Teddy whipped in last for a plancha – but no one's home. Apaches clear the ring in record speed, leaving only Teddy to be slapped around. Apache women kicks to the head melody on Teddy, which makes me so happy for some reason. Gran Apache makes sure to get in a slap on Teddy, slap to Sexi, slap to Rain, slap to Fabi, slap to Mari! Wait, that went wrong somewhere there. Gran Apache realizes it, then checks his hand. Teddy Hart back up, clotheslines misses, Teddy gives him the backcracker. Teddy posing and yelling. Replay of Mari awesomely taking the slap. Teddy kicks Gran Apache out of the ring, and follows him to the floor. Head into the post. All the women are down, but the rudas appear to be forming a plan. Teddy goes back in, climbs up, and seems to slip on the moonsault to the floor, but still connects on it. Replay of that. Back life, Sexi Star is somehow hitting a tope con giro on Fabi on the floor. Instead the ring, Mari's having trouble getting Rain up for a powerbomb, and when she finally does, Rain gets free kick, chinbreaker. Rain picks up Mari again – bad move, should've pinned her. Rain holds Mari for Teddy as he comes back in. Punch by Teddy, and they're taking time setting up for this. Dropkick - but Mari moves and Rain takes it. Rain rolls out, and Mari's off the ropes – wheel kick right to Teddy's face! Poor guy got killed. BRAINBUSTER! One two kickout! I might have turned around on AAA if that was three. Mari is fired up and stomps Teddy, before climbing up. Crowd fails to yell “no” in the most obvious situation. Middle rope senton con giro is not even close, even if Teddy hasn't started rolling out of the way. Teddy gives the thumb across his throats. Knee to the had, Powerbomb backcracker. One two three.

I'm not sure what I just saw, but it was good. Apaches and the doctor check on Mari Apache, who gets stretched out. She got thrown on that move a degree I'm not used to seeing her, but that may be more selling than injury. Especially as she nods that she's okay to Gran Apache just before the segment ends. Oops!

Vignette: If they use a sepia filter on the Octagon/Laredo/Super Fly vignette from a month ago, it's almost like it's new footage. (not really, at all.)

Match 3: Laredo Kid, Octagón, Súper Fly vs Joe Lider, Mantra, Nicho el Millionario
Gimansio Miguel Hidalgo, Poza Rica, Veracruz, 10/30/2009

Winner: Rudos
Match Time: 6:37
Rating: OK
Notes: No entrances. Piero is ref. Rudo are just taking off their gear. Mantra's name isn't even said before the match. DOA.

The do mention his name when he's putting on Octagon in a corner. Rudos jump the técnicos, of course, with Mantra focusing on Octagon. Drops Octagon on the barricade chest first, which is a really big bump for Octagon to take. I'm not convinced Mantra is Black Abyss at all. He's got a noticeable gut, and Black Abyss was the trimmer of the two guys wearing that costume. I'd guess more to being one of the Consgrados being under the mask. Is whipped to Laredo in the corner, and start to miss the charge, but Laredo kicks him instead. That look odd. Spear for Laredo, and Nicho is slow in attacking him from behind. Laredo fights him off, but then Laredo knocks him from behind. Seemed like that was supposed to be a comeback spot but turned into randomness. Nicho throws chairs in the ring, so I guess this is randomly no DQ. Laredo tries to counter into a bodyscissors powerbomb, but Lider and Mantra attack him, and Lider pulls him into a backcracker. Chair shot to Super Fly's head as he comes in. Replay,. And suddenly Laredo is in the ring and Super Fly is out of it. Nicho sits a chair in the corner, and Mantra whips already to him – drop toe hold into the chair. Super Fly is brought in, worked over, and gives him the same drop toe hold into the chair. Octagon's turn to get brought in. this time, Nicho does the whip, which leaves no one to actually drop toe hold Octagon. Octagon just stops short of the chair, and drop toe hold Nicho as he charges. Técnicos come back in and dropkicks the others. Nicho walks around with a chair around his neck, and Octagon hits him with one, to set him up for a Laredo Kid double stomp to the back. Super Fly dropkicks Nicho, who takes off the chair and rolls out. Air Force whip Lider, double thrust kick, and Lider's hung on the top rope. Laredo goes up for a missile dropkick to knock him off, and Super Fly adds a phat senton. Replay of the double stomp. Clip ahead to Mantra having Octagon down in the ring. Mantra misses a clothesline, Octagon hooks the arm, and walks up the ropes for a middle rope armdrag. Mantra throws himself into a spinning backbreaker. Dropkick sends Mantra out. Octagon walks off the ropes at a leisurely pace, then speeds up at the last second for a tope. While a replay is shown of that, Super Fly knocks Lider out. Super Fly tries his dive, Lider moves out of the way, Super Fly lands on his feet (!) , then charges, and Lider backdrops him into totally unexpected fans (!!) No one catches Super Fly, they just get the heck out of the way. Replay of Super Fly's non dive, and back in the ring to see Nicho having Laredo down and strutting about it. Lider slides in a couple chairs for him. Nicho picks up one, swings and misses, and Laredo bashes him with the other one. Dropkick to the chair to the head. Laredo lines up a couple chars on the mat and works over Nicho in the corner with kicks. He's got bigger plans that. Nicho set up on the top rope, Laredo join him – and Lider chairs him in the back before he can get it off. Lider sets up even more chars, then lifts Laredo on his shoulders. Blockbuster fallaway slam combo onto the chair. Tag champs cover. Mantra tries to put his foot on top of the pile to pose, but slips once – one two three on the count – and then falls backwards as Nicho and Lider move off the cover. I know we haven't seen YOU again! Mantra stomps Laredo kid because he looked dumb there.

Koslov Cam: Alex catches up with Rain, or at least Rain's breasts. Here eyes are up there, Alex. Alex decide to continue past Rain into a locker room or bathroom or something. I there, Konnan is giving a big recruitment speech to Zorro about rejoining the Legion. Like all conversations Konnan has with people, he does all the talking (and Zorro does all the face making.) I think , and I may get this one totally wrong, Konnan talks up how Zorro's been in multiple promotions with Konnan, multiple countries, and been a world champion (that UWA LH title), and Konnan knows he's a quality guy he'd want on his side. But he also knows the dark side of Zorro, the crazy side that cost him TripleMania (actual footage here – how did Alex do that inset? Good camera!) Konnan wants the sane Zorro he can trust, or else. BREAK. IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PROMO.

And continued: Zorro gives his side of the story – there's only one Zorro, not crazy side. I think they reach an agreement, Zorro will join the Legion again, but just not be crazy. Aw, they're friends. They needed to do this in front of the crowd, actually.

Match 4: Marco Corleone, Pimpinela Escarlata, Rocky Romero vs Alex Koslov, Teddy Hart, Zorro
Gimansio Miguel Hidalgo, Poza Rica, Veracruz, 10/30/2009

Winner: Rudos
Match Time: 13:39
Rating: OK
Notes: Joined in progress. Teddy has learned how to do the competing corner cheers bit. Hijo de Tirantes is ref, so I need not pay attention. Suddenly, they go from the crowd cheering back and forth Teddy putting on a crossface. Why is Teddy working twice on this show? I should heck. Pimpi roll out of the crossface to an armbar, Teddy forearms him a couple times and puts on an armbar of his own. Whip, reversed, Teddy holds onto and punches Pimpi a little more. Teddy stops to pose, and Pimpi yanks down his shorts in the back. Teddy is shocked, though more so when Pimpi kisses him. Teddy collapses on the mat, while Pimpi turns around to celebrate the crowd. Teddy pops back up, with murder in his eyes, just waiting for Pimpi to turn around, and Pimpi keeps merrily celebrating for the crowd. Teddy kick, and horribly mistimed backcracker. Teddy's gotta get a good move in - big powerbomb. Replay of the kiss in slow motion. Alex and Rocky in after the clips, grabbing each other and punching. Whip, over, under, springboard back elbow spins Alex out. Zorro assassinates Rocky with a superkick. Thanks for coming, Rocky! Marco calmly steps in, ducks Zorro's can shot, and knocks him out him with a single punch. Crowd shot, then back to see Rocky tope Zorro. Rocky holds Zorro up for Marco – but Alex hip checks to knock him down. Zorro whips Rocky in the post, and Teddy works on Pimpi instead. Zorro crotches Rocky on the post. Reverse neckbreaker. Teddy scoop slam. All the way up top, shooting star press. Zorro and Alex work over the other two. Replay of that tope. Teddy gets Rock with a flipping spinning DDT. Alex adds a jumping knee drop. Zorro adds a boot scrape. Stomps. Alex holds Marco for a dropkick on the mat. Zorro tosses Pimpi by his hair. Stomps. Teddy snap mares Pimpi, neck snap. Zorro gets Rocky with a nice spinning back elbow, so nice that Hijo de Tirantes starts clapping for it. Teddy gives Rocky the backcracker powerbomb. Everyone cleared out so Marco can be whipped cross ring. Zorro whipped in after a delay, Marco moves, and Zorro spears the post on the way out. Marco take scare of the other two with a big clothesline, and sets up for that dive again – this time, no one to stop him from landing it. Rocky and Pimpi go out to collect people. Pimpi brings Alex back in.

Pimpi tries to kiss Alex, but Alex gets away. Hijo de Tirantes is not as quick, but manages to get free in time. Replay of Marco's time as they wait for eveyrone to get reset. Pimpi and Alex in after everyone's back to their corners. Chop by Alex, Pimpi fighting back, but being subdued. Zorro comes over to pound Pimpi with punches. Corner whip, Alex charges in, and runs right into Pimpi's butt. Alex charges in again, but Pimpi's escapes to the apron. Armbar, chest slaps, eye, pose, Pimpi walks the ropes, and off with an armdrags. Alex tries a clothesline, but Pimpi blocks everything goes for the kiss. Alex holds him off – and manages the jumping enziguri. Alex breathes heavily, like he just had a life saving moment. Crowd loud for Pimpinela. Whip, Pimpi over, quick stop, and kiss for Alex. Teddy comes in, punch misses, and he gets kissed. Teddy stumbles around, so Pimpi picks him up and Marco dropkicks him down. Marco celebrates – so Pimpi pulls him in for a kiss too. Marco is shocked. Pimpi teases a dive, but turns and kisses Hijo de Tirantes instead. I would run if I was Rocky Romero (and he does drop off the apron!) Pimpi celebrates like he's won the Mega title. Replay of the Marco/Pimpi kiss, and the Hijo de Tirantes/Pimpi kiss. Back life, Alex slaps Rock. Rocky gets angry, and Alex decides to run. Out they go, around the ring they go, in Alex goes, in Rocky goes, Alex misses a clothesline, and Rocky slaps him down. Replay. Whip, quick reversed into a Koslov powerslam. He's got the hat! Kick to the back. Kick to the back. Off the ropes, running kick ducked under, and Rocky gets him with a headscissors. Alex's hat goes flying off, and Rocky adds a 619, as Arturo notes who else does it. (Not half CMLL's roster, no.) Rocky lands Alex in on to his shoulders, but Alex fights free, shoves Rocky into the rudo cover, charge in, and splashes nothing. Rocky clotheslines Alex, forearm for Zorro, forearms for Teddy, clothesline for Alex again, Kick, front facelock, look at the crowd, Teddy comes charging, and it's a STO/DDT combo for them both. Replay of the 619. Apparently, Pimpi nearly got Rocky with a kiss, but we're missing it seeing replays of the double spot. Cut to Marco/Alex. Marco wants to know where he's opponents is – he's so small, he can't see him - Alex shoves Marco, Marco leapfrogs Alex. Alex is hocked - probably shouldn't have looked up during that. Multiple replays, as Marco does more leapfrogs. Sunset flip goes like it always does. Pimpi is such a fan of Marco. Marco punches is, and Alex puts a stop sign up. Alex is very tired, but he can still feel himself up. And pose. Marco does his dance . Alex kicks him. Corner whip, reversed, Alex goes in chest first, Marco leapfrogs over him, springboard clotheslines misses, Alex jumping superkick does not! That was excellent. Hijo de Tirantes claps again. Alex celebrates, and the rudos come into stomp Marco as the Crowd chants for him. Marco corner whip, kip up over all the rudos, leapfrog over Hijo de Tirantes, leapfrog over Hijo de Tirantes, leapfrog over Zorro, over, Teddy over Alex, springboard plancha onto all the rudos., and pose. Hijo de Tirantes tells Marco to stop posing, and he eats the punch. Jumps to the floor to celebrate. Replays, and Zorro and Rocky are in, Zorro tries a casita, Rocky escapes to an inside cradle, one two NO. Fair count there, huh. Pimpi is down on the outside, Teddy stomping him. Marco watches, and Alex is down on the outside too. Also now here – Konnan, walking to the ring. He watches as Zorro get Rocky with a reverse rollup, Rocky rolling thru to pull his trunks, but only a fair count two. Konnan has one foot on the apron, but isn't involved, yet. Zorro misses a punch, but connects on a kick. Thumb across the throat. Suplex, Rocky slips down into a backslide, count of one, and Konnan breaks it up. Hijo de Tirantes had stopped counting anyway. Marco stops watching to knock out Teddy with a punch - maybe you want to get in the ring? Crowd seems a lot quieter after that interference. Konnan back on the apron, watching as Zorro catches Rocky in a spinebuster. Rocky rolls onto his stomach, making it easier for Zorro to – oh, curb-stomp him, was expecting something else. Marco is punching but the cruiserweight to the outside, but Alex subdues him with a forearm. There's the STF I was looking for, and Rocky may or may not have given up – isn't as clear as last week. That's the match, anyway.

Konnan comes in to raise Zorro (and Hijo de Tirantes) hand. Konnan get the microphone to welcome Zorro back in the group (and he names Hijo de Tirantes as a member, in case that wasn't official before.)

Promo: Dr. Wagner Jr. will give Mesías another title shot if he beats him in this trios. Because he could beat him in a singles match again anyway.

Match 5: Dr. Wagner Jr., Electroshock, Último Gladiador vs El Mesías, Extreme Tiger, La Parka Jr.
Gimansio Miguel Hidalgo, Poza Rica, Veracruz, 10/30/2009

Winner: Rudos
Match Time: 18:02 (7:27+10:35)
Rating: hilarious booking, weird segments
Notes: Picking up from there, they cut to the ring promo saying the same thing – Mesías has presumably just laid down the challenge, though they argue over the phrase charge: ”if Mesías wins tonight” and “when Mesías wins tonight”. But Mesías will get that shot. Wagner make sure everyone know he's the Mexican, and Mesías is the Puerto Rican. And then let's repeat it to make sure it's clear – it'll be one on one. Clip ahead to match in progress.

Piero is ref, and Wagner and Mesías are in. Wristlock. Hammerlock. Mesías jumping snap mare to escape. Wagner walks into an armdrag. Mesías hold onto the armbar, Electro and UG break it up, and start the beatdown from there. UG socks Tiger good with a forearm. Electro takes Parka. UG gives Tiger a Wagner Driver, how odd. It leads nowhere, it's the guy's finisher, I dunno. General 3 on 3 brawling. Mesías and Parka get rammed into each other. Wagner puts Mesías in some hold, but it might just be a hair pull. UG chokes out Parka. Electro holds Mesías in a camel clutch for a while, so Wagner can get UG to dropkick Parka out of the ring (and out off the way), and then Wagner can do his running dropkick to the face. UG rushes over to get in a legdrop. Leg drop to the leg too. Whip, Electro whips Tiger, tosses him up in the air, and drops him with a kick to the head. UG whips Mesías, UG puts his head down too soon, and Mesías throws him down it. Wagner stops Mesías with some leg kicks. Electro gives Mesías a spinebuster, then rolls into ankle lock. Electro has to give up, because Wagner has Parka on his shoulder for some reason, and they need the ring. Wagner just ends up dropping Parka off after UG punches him. Mesías whipped into the corner, UG whipped in after for a clothesline, Electro after for his own clothesline. Parka whipped, UG kicks him, but Park stands quite a distance from the corner. Rudos whip UG again, and he boosts UG into taking a bump into the corner. Rudos miss a double clothesline on Parka, and Mesías clothesline them both instead. Comeback spots, including Tiger sliding thru the rope to dropkick UG. Mesías works over Wagner with chops and punches, before taking him cross ring for a turnbuckle smash. Tiger ties up UG in the ropes for a dropkick. Parka pulls Electro back to the stage. Slam on the steps. Replay of the body slam, which made a loud noise and may have dented the steps. Meanwhile, Mesías and Wagner have somehow climbed the light pole and are punching each other back and forth. Mesías gets the better of it, but they both just climb back down. Piero starts counting everyone out! He's the only one who does it. Mesías breaks the count for his team, and then goes back out to retrieve Wagner from the crowd. Parka throws a chair at Electro on the outside. Replay of that. Tiger holds UG in a headscissors in the ring, then they both flee as Wagner and Mesías come in to do their spots. Mesías a chair and has Wagner backed into the corner. Piero warns him, but Mesías jabs him with the chair anyway. Chair shot to the back. Replay. And another chair sot the back. Wagner flees. Replay. Mesías has Wagner in a wristlock – sort of a step down - but Wagner brings him to the ropes for Electro to pull out. Mesías tries to kick him away, but Electro kicks him and pulls him out for punches. Electroshock throws Mesías backs in so Wagner can kick. Abrupt break.

Clipped head to Parka/Electro. Armdrag, armdrag, backbreaker, oddly time Crowd shot, not so good DDT. Sudden clip to Tiger being in. Flapjack for him. Dancing elbow driver. I guess that his new move. Or his old move and I forgot because he does so few. Wagner comes in to face him. Crowd seems split on this matchup, but the Wagner chants get louder. And then the sound drops out entirely – clip. Parka blocks everything and Wagner a view of his groin. Wagner reacts, then charges into backbreaker. Tags. Electro and Mesías. No, Electro demands Tiger instead, so he can make short jokes. Electroshock kicks Tiger, casually picks him up, and destroyed him with a powerbomb! What the heck was that? That was more painful looking the last Electro powerbomb like that? Replay that. Cut to UG coming in – so Tiger got called out and destroyed. Chop, obvious conversation, whip, Tiger flips over, but eats a superkick. Whip, reversed, and eventually Tiger his a spin kick. Replay of that. Tiger grabs UG, whose mask is slipping free. UG's takes his mask off, no one seems to think this is odd at all!!!!, whip, reversed, UG stands there, then realizes he's supposed to go off the ropes, charges, Tiger backdrops him to the apron, UG leans thru the ropes, Tiger kicks him, ties him in the ropes, and lands a top rope guillotine legdrop. Gladiador makes no attempt to hide him with his mask. Arturo just notes that he used to wrestle without his mask. I have no idea what just happened there. Not even the slightest clue. Electro and Mesías in. Electroshock of the ropes, over, under, Mesías tries to powerslam him, but Electro won't go with it. Punches. Whip, reversed, this time Mesías get the powerslam. One two no. Mesías UG is back on the apron, with his mask is on. So weird. Mesías off the ropes, 'rana, out goes Electro, punch to UG, knocking him to the floor. Mesías calls Wagner in, who considers it for a while. And a while longer. And now he'll strut and then pose in the corner. Crowd boos him this time. Mesías poses and gets cheers. Announcers are beyond thrilled that Mesías won one of these. Wagner kick, but Mesías pulls him in a headlock anyway. Cranking it. Crowd reacting got something we're not seeing. Is Wagner pulling down Mesías' trunks? Mesías shot off, back with a shoulderblock. Mesías does an odd little dance. Off the ropes, over, under, rolling over, into Wagner's armdrag, but Mesías sidesteps the next one and celebrates it a bit. Chop, Wagner backed in the corner, for a chop. Another. Another. Another – no, Wagner ducks under the fourth, and sets Mesías up in the corner. One, two, three, four, five, six even, eight, pose. Wagner turns around, and gets punched by Mesías. Corner whip, reversed, Wagner figures up and charges, and eats Mesías boots. Mesías out, running bulldog. Mesías fires up. Wagner gets up, and Mesías lifts him up in martinete position. UG breaks it up with a dropkick. Tiger in to face him, but misses on his dropkick. Director shows Wagner and Mesías walking around on the outside instead of the fight, but Tiger gets UG to the floor, then follows with a nice springboard tornillo to the floor. Parka and Electro in, Parka bodyscissors cradle, then out into a knee bar. Electro is amazing amount of pain, even though Parka doesn't actually have his figure four on yet. Parka rolls into a inverted crooked figure out, but Wagner breaks it up with a kick. Mesías in for him again. Wagner points to the crowd and generally tries to get them on his side as Mesías waits for him to chop, chop back. Crowd shot, ill timed. Back to the chop battle. Whip, reversed, Wagner ducks a clothesline, ducks another clothesline, gets dropped by a dropkick. Mesías waists, then just grabs Wagner into a casita. Piero takes the scenic route around to make the count, one two - and the rudos pulls him to stop the count. They don't actually pull him out, but I guess they distract him. UG holds onto Piero to keep his attention. Mesías tries to break that up, and Wagner chops him. UG still has Piero. Whip, reversed, Mesías puts his head down too soon and gets it kicked. Wagner off the ropes, right into a Mesías punch. UG still has Piero. Mesías loads up Wagner on his shoulders, F5. Cover, referee counting the pin, then Mesías counting the pin, but UG won't let go of Piero. Announcers have it as a nine count, though Mesías isn't actually covering Wagner which doesn't stop him from count. Electro in, foul, RKO, and now Piero is referee to turn around. Wagner pulls himself up. Wagner Driver. Piero take the long way round again – one two three.

Wagner celebrates. Oh no, it's Joaquin Roldan's music. Just when things were going fine. Clip? Wagner will have to defend his title against Mesías at Guerra de Titanes – crowd does not seem excited for that idea at all. Break just as Wagner goes to respond.

The promo in front of the crowd isn't shown. Instead, one from backstage, who's annoyed with Roldan for that match, but he accepts the match – under his conditions. To be named.

Clips of the Wagner/Mesias in the main event. And that's it.
