DTU (FRI) 11/05 Arena 11 de Julio [Estrellas del Ring]
??) Aero Boy & Paranoiko ?? Dement Xtreme & Violento Jack
3) Ashley, Lolita, Ludark, Megan b Chica Tormenta, Keira, Sexy Lady, Vaquerita
4) Daga b ? [Campeonato de Alto Rendimiento DTU]
5) Taubco b Loco Metalico [Campeonato de Alto Rendimiento DTU]
6) Eterno b Ciclope [Campeonato de Alto Rendimiento DTU]
7) Hormiga b Tribal [Campeonato de Alto Rendimiento DTU]
8) Crazy Boy DQ Silver King
9) Joe Lider b Dance Boy, Extreme Tiger [DTU]
Lider pinned Dance Boy to retain the title. Tiger was busy brawling in the crowd with Eterno.
DQ in the semimain was for Drastick Boy appearing to help out Crazy Boy. Always odd when there are DQs in DTU.
The four winners of the DTU tournament matches square off in a tag match at the next DTU show in the next stage of the tournament.
CMLL (SUN) 11/07 Arena Coliseo [CMLL, Cesar]
1) Apolo Estrada Jr. & Zayco b Astro Boy & Freesbe
2) Amapola, Princesa Blanca, Princesa Sujei b Dalys la Caribeña, Lluvia, Marcela
3) Euforia, Nosferatu, Pólvora b Ángel Azteca Jr., Ángel de Plata, Fabián el Gitano
4) Hijo del Fantasma, Rush, Sagrado b Mephisto, Taichi, Yoshihashi
5) Brazo de Plata, Máximo, Shocker DQ Héctor Garza, Negro Casas, Volador Jr.
Negro Casas fouled Maximo for the DQ in the main event.
Semimain only went two falls. It wasn’t the planned finish, but the match was stopped after a Hijo del Fantasma top rope headscissors on Mephisto. Mephisto didn’t flip over, landed on his head and was out from there. This sounds like it could be a very serious injury – Mephisto was strechered from the ring and taken to a hospital. (On his Twitter, Taichi says Mephisto has a cervical spine injury.)
Fantasma had beaten Mephisto the last two weeks. Next week is a fan appreciation show at Arena Mexico, and Mephisto defending his (insert name here) Welterweight Championship would’ve been the logical main event to be added during the week. They may just not do a main event, or they may change things around quite a bit.
Both recaps note Nosferatu has lost a lot of weight. Back when the Cancerberos were formed, Virus said the people in his group are those who work out very hard in the gym, and the implication was Nosferatu wasn’t working out hard enough to make the cut. Perhaps that’s changing.
Remember two weeks ago, when Cesar explained Marcela was a roundabout sub for another AAA luchadora thinking about jumping? At the time, he identified the mystery woman as someone who had been in CMLL before; apparently, he meant had been in CMLL’s offices talking about jumping before, because it’s not a woman who’s had a previous CMLL match: Sexi Star is considering jumping to AAA. Sexi Star is said to feel underutilized in AAA, but it’s not clear if she’s actual serious about the whole thing or just using CMLL for leverage.
I think I need to put this in bold: Sexi Star coming to CMLL would be a terrible idea for CMLL and a terrible idea for Sexi Star. This would be the female version of Electroshock’s return to CMLL; the upside of Sexi Star joining CMLL is we’d have a new go to example of bad career moves. Sexi Star has been completely pushed off to the side since her FCW experience, but she was the biggest female star in the company and highly promoted previously. I’d assume she will be again sometime soon, but she could know something the rest of us do not. She definitely doesn’t seem content with staying in AAA, but that does seem like the best fit for her.
Hector Garza still wants the tag team titles returned to him. On Ras de Lona, he and Aguila were waving around the title match contract with Atlantis’ name on it. To Fuego en el Ring, Hector complains of biased refereeing.
Ras de Lona is taped on Wednesday, and Atlantis appeared perfectly healthy on the show. Perhaps he was just putting a brave face for the cameras.
Super Porky says he’s down to 110 kg/242.5 lb (from 170 kg/375 lb, though I think that’s conservative.) He wants to get down to 100 kg/220 kg. Porky credits a new woman in his life with inspiring chance.
Ozz & Cuervo explain to Mi Lucha Libre how they don’t need Scoria, their partner of the last 8 years. Scoria explains he felt the Dark Family had gone as far as it could go, and he wanted a change. Scoria explains he decided to join with Cibernetico because they had issues in the past, which is an odd reason.

I greatly enjoyed the sidebar that explained the DTU chants at the XLAW show were technically incorrect, because XLAW is more of ECW homage while DTU is more of a CZW/Big Japan ripoff. Speaking of that show, there’s a video of Juvi attacking Super Crazy.

Lineups
CMLL bodybuilding contest is this week. And Mascara Dorada & Sombra are off to Japan. Seems like Vailente has the Puebla show on Monday and is off the rest of the week.
CMLL (TUE) 11/09 Arena Mexico
1) Camaleón & Principe vs Camorra & Zayco
2) Guerrero Maya Jr., Metálico, Metatrón vs Bronco, Durango Kid, Hooligan
3) Ángel Azteca Jr., Fuego, Rush vs Nosferatu, Pólvora, Virus
4) Brazo de Plata, Metro, Toscano vs Terrible, Texano, Vangelis
5) Averno, Ephesto, Mephisto vs Charly Manson, El Alebrije, Psicosis
All five Avernos on one show, which doesn’t seem to happen all that much. Helps to have 2 of them back from Japan! Fuego and Los Cancerberos are matched up again. Maybe Nosferatu can earn membership by actually beating the man from Oaxaca?
CMLL (TUE) 11/09 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) Thunder Boy vs Templario
2) Hierro & Magnum vs Drago & León Blanco
3) Metal Blanco & Palacio Negro vs Mr. Trueno & Rey Trueno
4) Delta, Diamante, Gallo vs Demus 3:16, Escorpion, Semental
5) La Máscara, Místico, Sagrado vs Héctor Garza, Mr. Águila, Taichi
Invasors main event both CMLL shows. Oh well.
This actually looks like a pretty fun TV show, especially the GDL local cable show including the tercera.
IWRG (THU) 11/11 Arena Naucalpan
1) Centurión vs Nemesis
2) Bugambilia del Norte & Dinamic Black vs Carta Brava Jr. & Hammer
3) Comando Negro, Guerrero Negro, Magia Negra vs Arlequin Amarillo, Arlequin Negro, Arlequin Rojo
4) Bobby Lee Jr., Centauro, Cerebro Negro vs Oficial 911, Oficial AK47, Oficial Fierro
5) Dr. Cerebro, La Parka Jr., Veneno vs Billy Boy, Decnnis, Hijo de Pierroth (IWRG)
That’s an odd collection of people in one main event. In all of the matches, anyway.
CMLL (FRI) 11/12 Arena Mexico
1) Molotov & Starman vs Escorpion & Mortiz
2) Astral, Eléctrico, Pequeno Maximo vs Pequeño Universo 2000, Pequeño Warrior, Pierrothito
3) Dalys la Caribeña, Dark Angel, Marcela vs Estrellita, Seuxis, Tiffany
4) Stuka Jr. vs Raziel [lightning]
5) Felino, Negro Casas, Rey Bucanero vs Héctor Garza, Mr. Águila, Taichi
6) Blue Panther, Místico, Shocker vs Atlantis, Dragón Rojo Jr., Último Guerrero
Pequeno Maximo is on the same show as Rey Bucanero, that’s interesting. Or a busy night.
Seuxis finally gets to team with Los Invasors!
CMLL (SUN) 11/14 Arena Mexico
1) Bengala, Leono, Tigre Blanco vs Apocalipsis, Artillero, Súper Comando
2) Astral, Bam Bam, Mascarita Dorada vs Pequeño Olímpico, Pequeño Warrior, Pierrothito
3) Ángel Azteca Jr., Ángel de Oro, Ángel de Plata vs Arkángel de la Muerte, Loco Max, Skándalo
4) Delta, Diamante, Fuego vs Euforia, Sangre Azteca, Shigeo Okumura
5) Brazo de Plata, Máximo, Místico vs Ephesto, Felino, Negro Casas
As mentioned above, I think something’s up and this card is going to change.
CMLL (SUN) 11/14 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) El Divino vs In Memoriam
2) Black Metal & Virgo vs Drago & Malefico
3) Goya Kong, Lluvia, Luna Mágica vs Amapola, La Comandante, Mima Shimoda
4) Rush, Sagrado, Stuka Jr. vs Averno, Terrible, Texano Jr.
5) Blue Panther, La Máscara, Shocker vs Atlantis, Dragón Rojo Jr., Último Guerrero
A show.
IWRG (SUN) 11/14 Arena Naucalpan
1) Bugambilia del Norte & Dinamic Black vs Carta Brava Jr. & Hammer
2) Ángel Mortal, Espectro, Gallego vs Black Terry, Cerebro Negro, Dr. Cerebro
3) Biba Kasai, Mascarita Sagrada, Miss Gaviota vs Jennifer Blake, Mini Histeria, Pasion Kristal
4) Hijo del Cien Caras & Máscara Año 2000 Jr. vs Hijo de Pirata Morgan & Pirata Morgan [IWRG IC TAG]
Jennifer Blake hasn’t been on AAA shows, so I think this is an outdated lineup. Since her replacement has been Oyuki and Naguya, I wonder if that ends up being the sisters against each other.
Amo de Lucha Libre’s YouTube has a promo hyping up the main event feud, and video of the DTU vs Cerebros match.

Sexy Star is headed to Japan for the Joshi 4 Hope show on the 30th. I agree that Sexy Star going to CMLL would be a mistake as they already have Lluvia and they are basically the same person.
Angel Mortal and Gallego being back is weird. Too bad Mr. Condor left AAA or we could get a reunion.
