Sell out. Maybe more than that.
Opener was the only match with no storyline on this night, so it’s probably getting cut. Best match of the night, of course.
Konnan, walking around with a crutch now, opened the show proper with the Legion in the ring. He told the Maniacos to decide if they were with the Legion soon, and pointed out Perro Jr. beating Mesias at Verano de Escandalo. Parka & Roldan appeared to retort, but Konnan wasn’t done. He was still hurt from being put thru the table at Verano (an actual follow up to an injury angle!), so both Decnnis & Billy Boy would be taking his place. Not sure how Konnan has the power to do that at this point.
After Crazy Boy pinned El Brazo in the opener, Decnnis again offered El Brazo a spot in the Militia. Brazo again declined. This time, the Militia attacked him. Hilario freaked out, tried to make the save, and was knocked out. The tecnicos eventually returned to clear the rudos out.
Heavy Metal brought a guitar with him to ringside for his match. Bad move. Electroshock showed up, clonked Elegido with the guitar, and Chris splashed him for the pin. Electro destroyed Metal for good measure and then went screaming out into the night.
Tag title match end game started with Ultimo Gladiador trying a tope on Cien Caras Jr., only for Caras just to walk away and allow Gladiador to dive to his doom. (That is sort of how it all started.) The Militia – who were all over this show – attacked Cien Caras Jr. This allowed Hijo de Tirantes to be distracted, and Silver King piledrived Mascara Ano 2000 Jr. to set up the pin. After the match, Veneno (!) and an Oficial ran the rudos off.
Despite not being in the match, Konnan still got involved in the main event. To the surprise of few, Billy Boy took the pinfall in the main event, after a top rope splash from his old friend Mesias. The Militia wrestled in three matches on this show, took losses in two, and only one the other when Electroshock saved them. This is a group going places!
Next taping is 09/05 Pachuca. They’ve also announced 09/19 in Ecatpec, but there’s either another one in between or they’re taking a week off, because they won’t have enough to last that long.

Konnan almost looks like Antonio Pena in some of those pictures.
Is AAA’s ring bigger than IWRG’s?
Remember when the nWo B-Team was created so guys like Brian Adams, Vincent and Stevie Ray could team with the stars on house shows and do the jobs? That really worked great for WCW.
Remember when eventually guys in the nWo B-Team like Scott Norton, Brian Adams and Konnan started refusing to do jobs as well? I’m guessing Billy Boy/Decnis won’t get that opportunity.
Is Billy Boy Vincent or Horace?
@Tim: vincent
ALAN STONE SHOULD BE SCOTT NORTON
