Picudo blew fire in Billy Boy’s face for the wins

Before the show, they had a moment of silence for Texano and Dr. O’Borman. Same thing at the Arena Mexico show Friday night.

5) MNM b Mexicools [WWE Tag]
6) Chris Benoit b JBL
Benoit shouted Viva La Raza post match and left to Eddie’s music.

There’s a story on the show here. Haven’t seen Monterrey results, but I assume the same thing.

There’s an interview with Rey on WWE.com about the show in Mexico City. Attendance is listed as 19726. They kinda lose me in the first answer when Rey talks about being back in the ring in DF for the first time in 13 years.

The LA Times has a story on Nacho Libre, and makes it sound promising. By the time I read five more months of positive fluff pieces about this movie, I’m going to actually be pumped to see it. (And then, possibly, devastated?)

This week’s Arena Mexico main event will be Perro Aguayo Jr. vs Atlantis in a non-title singles match. (That’s the sort of match I was looking for in a return match.)
