No Konnan on the taping, since he was at E3. No Perros, though they did not go unmentioned. LA Park did a promo (at least for Dos de Tres) saying he and Dorian were friends again and the Perros were coming in to destroy AAA. LA Park was in a good mood on the show, with AAA’s recap noting he was doing bits from his first run in AAA as La Parka. He also annoyed Marisela Pena enough that Pena threw a drink at him. Park powerbombed Lider onto chairs to pick up the win.
Early on the show, Wagner was talking about winning the title and defending it against anyone, when he was interrupted Vampiro. Vampiro said Dr. Wagner Junior had hurt his knee many years ago, and wanted revenge. They brawled here. After the semimain, with Electroshock beating Wagner, Vampiro ran down again and attacked Wagner. Not sure how this will come off on TV, but this was kind of hilarious on Dos de Tres’ video, because security flooded the ring to presumbably keep them apart, except they all just stood in the ring and watched for a while until Vampiro pulled Wagner’s mask. Not sure if they came into the ring too soon or something else was supposed to happen. Electroshock was conflicted by the Vampiro/Wagner fight, leaving to the entrance then returning to do a lot of staring.
It seems like this is the setup for Vampiro challenging Dr. Wagner Jr. at Verano de Escandalo. You can see some logic in using Big Star Vampiro vs Wagner as a top match, especially on a show like this where they don’t have as long to build. The idea doesn’t hold up much past that – there are other guys who could’ve meant as much as Big Names and Vampiro/Wagner is going to be a poor match. AAA doesn’t seem to want to see Vampiro in the ring – he’s been pulled from more TV matches (2) than matches he’s actually had since coming back (1) – so putting him in a singles match is crazy.
With Electroshock hanging around and AAA loving to do multiman matches, it probably won’t be Vampiro vs Wagner one on one by the time the show runs around.
Chessman pinned Metal in the tercera.
Alan & Chris were having issues in their match and after their loss. I’m not sure the point of a breakup angle of guys who are barely on this show; even if one turns, it doesn’t mean much and it shouldn’t be expected to go anywhere.
There appeared to be no follow up to Relampago’s bit at TripleMania; he was the same opening card tecnico as he has ever been and got the pin on El Brazo. Maybe they taped something backstage, but if there’s nothing going on by Sunday’s taping, this has great possibilities of being a wacky lucha meme.

oh oh oh I know
Dr. Wagner Jr.
vs
Vampiro
vs
Electroshock
vs
X-FLY
That’s got to be the title match.
Chris Stone’s still in AAA AND they split them up! Very TNA of them.
The Vamp angle clearly shows the divide in the locker room. Wagner is in AAA he doesn’t work with anyone in AAA who he hasn’t worked with as an indy guy (outside of Mesias). Electro, Park, Silver King and Vamp are all guys he does (or has done) matches/feuds with on the indy circuit. Clearly Wagner isn’t taking any orders from Konnan and is just doing his own thing. So you can see the split coming as soon as they tell him he’s going to be doing a feud with Chessman or Zorro or Cibernetico or Octagon. Of course I don’t think Konnan would have the guts to order Wagner to do a feud with anyone so I predict Wagner feuds with Park (if he’s still around) after this Vamp things run it’s course.
I’m just hoping Vamp has won of those huge falling outs with AAA that he is known for b/c then the Observer will be come much more fun with Vamp giving Dave all the gossip in his left ear while Konnan feeds Dave his own BS in his right ear.
@thecubsfan: No, you don’t know. It’s Wagner vs Vamp vs Konnan vs Cibernetico.:)
@Rob:
I’d actually be ok with a Wagner/Vamp/K-Dawg/Ciber match
@KDB_31: I was just kidding. There is no way any of those guys would lose to each other. Not that it’s stopped AAA or the PdM in the past.
