* Atomic Boy, Gato Eveready, Laredo Kid vs Billy Boy, Decnnis, El Brazo: This wasn’t super great – I never get as much Atomic Boy as I want – but it still was fun.
* Aerostar & Fabi Apache vs Alex Koslov & Sexi Star: Loved this match and so glad they’re (mostly) going back at again for the Mixed Tag Titles. This was one of those mixed tag that’s actually more dual singles matches, but the action kept moving throughout. I’d much rather see Alex Koslov continually fight the Apaches than fight Extreme Tiger even once more.
I took a break from watching this show for a few days right there. Good call!
* Extreme Tiger, Jack Evans, Rocky Romero vs Cuervo, Escoria, Ozz: weird finish. Not just the unbelievable bit of Tirantes counting a pin without seeing it to allow for a tecnico to actually win the match, but they have people escaping the Metal Claw Punch before it actually starts to work? Wrong order there. Still OK.
* Cibernético, El Mesías, Heavy Metal vs Joe Lider, Konnan, Nicho el Millionario: At least they had a story to tell. Nicho & Konnan have good backstage segments, maybe they can stick to that.
* Dr. Wagner Jr., Electroshock, Silver King vs Chessman, Kenzo Suzuki, Zorro: KENZO SUZUKI WON A MATCH. Kenzo had not won a match since December 13th. Also, the whole break up thing – Dr. Wagner Jr. sure comes off as a jerk for a tecnico, but that’s normal. There’s really no shock in doing the ‘surprise’ turn when they’ve been building it up for weeks, which maybe hopefully someone learned from this. Makes sense more to me just to continue the tension form the backstage segment until Electro betrays Wagner, instead of acting like it’s not there.
