I’ve caught up on Box y Lucha purchases, I did a (probably not deep enough) look through recent luchawiki changes, and I’ve got all the recent posters. The next items on my ongoing project list are catching up on these posts, sorting through the 3000+ outstanding videos that need to be added to the database or coming up with an original idea. Making a list of arbitrary ratings it is.
Doing a dozen of these posts seems really annoying. I’m going to just end up listing the best matches from each week. I’m not watching as much this year for the same reasons that have led me to this slipping off schedule; I just haven’t found the time and haven’t been as interested to force it to happen. Maybe some info is better than nothing.

I think I liked Rey de Reyes more than most (by most that implies more than like 12 people talked about it, which I’m not sure is correctly.) The Torneo de Escuelas final was a lot of fun.

Now it’s getting a bit quieter. Lluvia/Vaquer is the match I pushed people to watch before she shows up in NJPW Strong, not sure if anyone does. It’s a new “Titan-test”; you can use the name pronunciation to see who’s done at least the bare minimum work.

Both the World Cup and H2L finals feel overrated after the fact, or maybe it’s just that they were good but they could’ve/should’ve been better. They’re stuck in the middle ground of doing what they set out to do when they happened but I’m not going to be grabbing people to go watch at the end of the year.

My memory is Kamille/Flammer was the only match from that NWA/AAA show worth your time but I don’t have my notes. The Arena Coliseo Anniversary cibernetico was not as good as the Torneo de Escuelas one, though Max Star really shined in it.
