YAY! I love CMLL being back in all their crazy ways, including updating the Arena Mexico events page and neglecting to actually include Friday’s lineups. Luckily, the hi5 page has it:
CMLL (FRI) 05/08 Arena Mexico
1) Astro Boy & Trueno vs Puma King & Tiger Kid
2) Flash, Pegasso, Rey Cometa vs Arkangel de la Muerte, Loco Max, Skandalo
3) Maximo, Mictlan, Sagrado vs Black Warrior, Dragon Rojo Jr., Sangre Azteca
4) Hector Garza, Hijo del Fantasma, Shocker vs Dos Caras Jr., Ray Mendoza Jr., Texano Jr.
5) Felino, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas vs Blue Panther, La Mascara, Mistico
You know, I don’t like the chances of the Black Plague in the first show back from the swine flu. Doesn’t seem like it’d be their night. (Or Virus in GDL, sadly.)
CMLL TV should now be expected to have the top 3 now, of course.
CMLL (SUN) 05/10 Arena Mexico
1) Molotov & Sensei vs Camorra & Inquisidor
2) Dark Angel, Marcela, Sahori vs Amapola, Hiroka, Mima Shimoda
3) Bam Bam, Mascarita Dorada, Shockercito vs Pequeño Damian 666, Pequeño Violencia, Pequeño Warrior
4) Hijo del Fantasma, Metro, Valiente vs Averno, Heavy Metal, Texano Jr.
5) Hector Garza, La Sombra, Volador Jr. vs Atlantis, Rey Bucanero, Ultimo Guerrero
Dark Angel (still here!), Marcela, Amapola, Hiroka, both Doradas, Bam Bam, Warrior, Damian, Volador, Sombra, and Atlantis are all working Friday in Guadalajara and then coming back for this show; that’s about half the lineup, 12. Coincidentally (or not), 12 guys go the other way, from working DF on Friday to GDL Sunday.
Top 3 will air on one or the other MVS shows next weekend. I’m okay with either segunda airing, actually. (You may differ.)
Tickets are all 40 pesos for both shows just Sunday. I think everyone’s going to have a hard time drawing at first, because I think people are more unsure if the flu scare is really over than they are anxious to get out (and I’m sure we’ll be seeing flu masks in crowd shots for months to come), so doing these as cheap shows makes sense.
SuperLuchas has the Tuesday lineup as well, and mentions the buildings will not be allowed to be more 50% full for the moment.
CMLL (TUE) 05/12 Arena Mexico
1) Astro Boy & Metalico vs Apocalipsis & Zayco
2) Estrella Magica, Lady Apache, Lluvia vs Hiroka, Princesa Blanca, Princesa Sujei
3) Shockercito, Tzuki, Ultimo Dragoncito vs Pequeno Damian 666, Pequeno Universo 2000, Pierrothito
4) Maximo, Metro, Valiente vs Dragon Rojo Jr., Misterioso II, Sangre Azteca
5) Blue Panther, Hector Garza, Hijo del Fantasma vs Felino, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas
Estrella Magica’s debut. Tzuki wrestles!

Konnan reaching a settlement with TNA probably doesn’t need a post of it’s own, since it’s stretching to be in lucha libre, but congrats to the man for getting paid.
Wow, I stand corrected on my theory that there wouldn’t be any DF shows this week. Things were opened up much faster than I was expecting.
“SuperLuchas has the Tuesday lineup as well, and mentions the buildings will not be allowed to be more 50% full for the moment.”
Interesting, I wonder if they are going to try something like selling every other seat to enforce “social distance.”
What’s the over/under on the number of shots of people in the crowd wearing some combination of lucha mask/flu mask?
You may not want to jump the gun with the “top 3 airing” comment. They hyped the shit out of Villano vs UG last week and it would look awful for them to bail on airing it now, especially with the rest of the card already airing. I’m tempted to say they stick to the schedule and tomorrow’s show is just for a live audience but cmll.com says it’s being taped for Canal 9 Galavision. So perhaps they only air the top 2 and Villano vs Guerrero or even just the main and the mask match.
Not sure there is really a point to be overanalyzing the hastily thrown together lineups. It’s just good to see lineups again!:D RANDOM TRIOS MATCHES RULE!
I’m happy to see the mini’s being given two terceras in a row! Especially when one involves TZUKI who better show up! After two weeks off you need a payday little man! Show up and teach Pequeno Damian a lesson!
Finally – back to normalcy!

Anti-CMLL fan says: Hasn’t that rule been in place all year thus far?
Glad to see metro maximo and valiente in the match before the main event thats good to see that cmll is givin them more chances and yes finally all is gettin back to normal slowly but it is good to have cmll back
Who knows, you may see more of Dark Angel in CMLL – word is TNA isn’t a big fan of her weak Mexican offense.
