What happened:
Acero & Mercurio were advertised for the opener, despite Mercurio not appearing to work in CMLL any more. CMLL should really go farther back with this bit and start listing Fire and Guerrerito del Futuro to get people worked up.
Thoughts:
The top matches were professional matches. They were also generally boring matches. Hechicero and Angel de Oro blowing a spot and then Hechicero & Soberano doing something more complicated right after was close to interesting, but nothing here woke me up.
Misterioso was vaguely in the right spots for a short Dulce match and that’s all you really can hope for out of him. Dulce’s topes didn’t look good but the new submission works for the character and is something beyond just a kiss.
The opener had a group of luchadors who usually form the better part of the locals match. They just didn’t mesh for a good one themselves. People seemed to be on different pages, and the action never picked up. CMLL Puebla matches shouldn’t even be considered a disappointment, standards are low, but this was close.
