Straight falls. Templario unmasked Star Jr. for the DQ. Star Jr. replaced Flyer.
Media room promos: Stuka Jr., Rey Bucanero, Mistico & Titan.
Rey Bucanero took crazy old man bumps, which is what he did last time he was involved in this title (losing it to Hechicero.) Star Jr. finally actually got his main event and fell into a feud with Templario.
CMLL (TUE) 11/05/2019 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara [CMLL]

5) Ángel de Oro, Carístico, Niebla Roja DQ Euforia, Gran Guerrero, Último Guerrero
Caristico replaced Diamante Azul. Tecnicos took 2/3, the last with Euforia fouling Angel de Oro to set up a singles match next week.
Diamante Azul posted a photo of him eating ice cream so he appears to be alive. He is out of action again. CMLL quietly replaced him with Titan on Saturday, Kraneo on Sunday. Euforia/Angel de Oro seems like a good replacement feud. Fugaz getting big Mexico City wins makes him a more useful replacement in his home arena.
Mr. Niebla reports he’s out of the hospital and back home after dealing with a blood infection.
Reporte Indigo interviews Titan, who mentions working jobs as a waiter, a merchant selling cosmetics and a magician’s assistant to pay for his wrestling training. I’m now going with the idea that Titan was sawed in half during a magic trick and that’s when he learned how to walk on his hands.
Mistico, Carisitco, Shoko Nakajima, Kawato San, Okumura and Stuka Jr. will appear on CMLL Informa. That’ll be Kawato’s first CMLL appearance since July.
CMLL’s announced a lot of Buen Fin deals for next weekend. Buen Fin is a Mexico-like Black Friday sale concept for November. There’s a lot of 2×1 deals in Arena Mexico, Coliseo, and the Sunday Guadalajara show.
Terrible is headed to NJPW to team with Los Ingobernables de Japon member Shingo Takagi in the World Tag League. The World Tag League runs from 11/16 to 12/08. Terrible is going to take so many pins. It’ll be fun to have him on CMLL Informa about this, if only for an explanation about the future of Los Ingobernables in CMLL.
Tonight’s episode four of Lucha Capital. Everyone’s had one match, everyone gets to have a second match and then, uh, other things happen. AAA sent out a mostly mystery lineup, then posted the full talent group this morning.
Women: Faby Apache, Ayako Hamada, Keyra
Men: Puma King, Tito Santana, Puma King, Drago, Octagon Jr., Dave the Clown, Argenis, Maximo, Rich Swann
The show airs on Facebook at 9 pm. With DST over, it is back to being right after NXT/AEW.
AAA launched an international t-shirt store on ProWrestlingTees.com. There are seven different designs, with Psycho Clown and La Parka the wrestlers featured. This is a good first step. AAA’s launched online stores in the past, though they’ve tended to get little attention after that launch. As best as I can tell, AAA has not promoted this store or the deal with MLW yet. Maybe they’re waiting to do it when they’re on Azteca Friday.
Kastigador defeated Vengador in their mask match at Arena Queretaro last night. +LuchaTV did stream it live. The two went to a double pinfall in the third fall, with the commission restating the match so there would be a winner. The match was said to be around the level as the previous matches. Vengador is Luis Omar Pacheco, 22 years old, 8 years a wrestler.
DTU’s teasing the Lucha Brothers for a show in December, either in Tulancingo or Pachuca.
Fuerza Guerrera held a press conference to repeat the announcement of a couple of weeks ago: he plans on retiring in April 2021. Guerrera says he will refuse any mask match unless they are against Atlantis, Octagon or Hijo del Santo. He also would like to team with his children during this tour and retire in Arena Mexico. Fuerza Guerrera names Blue Panther, Negro Casas, Atlantis, Dr. Wagner, Caristico and Penta along the way. Fuerza Guerrera is a big star but 16 months notice is a long time for a retirement tour.
A benefit show for Corsario de Fuego will be held 11/10 in Arena Xalapa. There will be increased security at a show in Coatepec in response to this shooting. Coatepec is about 30 minutes to southwest of Xalapa.
The 11/17 Pro Wrestling Mexico show seems much more like a normal Monterrey card than the super-indie they had been doing lately. Perhaps they, like Kaoz, are staying away from using AAA-associated people before TripleMania Regia.
The Crash announced Emperador Azteca, Imposible and Brazo de Oro Junior on 11/23. Brazo de Oro Jr. has promise but tends to be booked on shows with La Mascara. That suggests some Los Ingobernables presence on that show.
RIOT’s next show on 02/01 is an all surprise show.
LuchaWorld has the latest Lucha Report and the LuchaWorld Podcast.
Box Y Lucha says White Man II passed away. The original White Man (a flip of El Toreo’s Black Man character) was Alberto Munoz in the 70s/80s. This White Man II only shows up in results last year rarely; I’d guess there’s another name he used.
Periodico La Voz has an interview with Mini Hator.
WWE sent Jeff Jarrett to Mexico to promote their shows.

This taping isn’t canceled after all. That means AAA is going to run a normal taping on a Saturday and TripleMania Regia on Sunday. That’ll be two shows within 24 hours with some decent travel in between. Not everyone is going to work both, but it’s still a surprising thing to do. It would make some sense if AAA needed it for TV purposes. TripleMania Regia would seem to cover that need, though the show being sponsored by local TV network Multimedios may mean different distribution than usual. Nothing to be concerned about now, but perhaps check for a Twitch logo on the poster when it turns up.
AAA’s saving the big stuff for 12/01 and 12/14, so this is just a card of trios matches. The top two matches do mix up the usual opponents a bit, with the Mercenarios facing the Flyers while Taurus & the OGTs face Psycho’s crew.
Super Crazy showing up a surprise; he hasn’t been here since a short run in 2011. Myzteziz again is listed despite being on Extalon. AAA might not know something we don’t, but they also could’ve just listed a surprise luchador to not give it away.
