What happened:

Forastero went for a foul, Caristico blocked, Forastero unmasked him instead.

Thoughts:

more impressive to pull this off with Sangre Imperial than Cain Velasquez, in a fashion

Caristico looked good, Soberano’s had better matches, Atlantis’ speed throws everything off in the main event. Forastero doesn’t shine as much as people in the undercard who aren’t every getting singles matches, but it’s still at least a different man.

The woman flashing the camera was more exciting than the semimain but that feels unfair to the woman.

The lightning match was a fine tecnico vs tecnico match. There was some smart blocking of counters near the end. It would’ve been nice to get some mat work to begin with, with them running into the end game a little quick.

The tercera had more effort than usual. It helped that Star Jr. & Magia Blanca seem happy to be there. The grumpy rudos also remain less grumpy in this spot on the card. This still felt like a perfunctory match with everything ending at the first possible moment but enjoyable for a Tuesday match.
