CMLL (MON) 09/09/2019 Arena Puebla [CMLL, Lucha Central]
1) Ares el Poblano, Black Tiger, Guerrero Espacial b Asturiano, Meyer, Millenium
Rudos took 1/3.
2) Drone, Fuego, Guerrero Maya Jr. b Ares (Costa Rica), Escualo (Costa Rica), Kaiser (Costa Rica)
tecnicos took 2/3.
3) Hijo del Villano III, Perverso, Universo 2000 Jr. b Black Panther, Blue Panther Jr., Kráneo
Perverso replaced Mascara Ano 2000. Rudos took 1/3.
4) Atlantis, Flyer, Titán b Hechicero, Templario, Vangellys
Tecnicos took 2/3.
5) Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas, Volador Jr. DQ Dragón Lee, Terrible, Valiente [Relevos Increíbles]
Terrible fouled Casas for the DQ.
The DQ came out of nowhere. No idea if it’s setting up that singles match. Dragon Lee/Volador probably couldn’t happen due to other bookings they have on Monday. Casas & Terrible don’t have Monday bookings yet I’ve got yet.
Arena Mexico tonight has Peste Negra versus Caristico, Valiente, and Volador. Last week’s show ended with Cavernario fouling Volador, which seemed like something just to build-up up the cage match announcement for the following day. It’s also possible CMLL just runs Cavernario/Volador randomly on Tuesday because it’s CMLL. Flyer, Kraneo, and Stuka Jr. face Hechicero, Vangellys and Rey Bucanero in the semi-main. Polvora has yet another lightning match, this time against Rey Cometa. The Costa Rica trio finish up their short stint with Pegasso, Star Jr. and Stigma today. The opening matches again include a minis match to open a show. It’ll stream at 7:30 pm on CMLL’s YouTube channel.
Guadalajara has the Guerreros versus Angel de Oro, Dragon Lee, and Niebla Roja. They teased Ultimo Guerrero versus Dragon Lee there last week. A bigger than usual show next Tuesday as a delayed holiday celebration would make sense for both arenas. There’s been no announcement to that extent yet.
CMLL quietly removed Big Daddy from Friday night’s main event. Sanson will replace him. He’s only wrestled in AAA as part of the Gran Prix ciberneticos and last Friday’s semi-main. He may have as few three Arena Mexico matches in CMLL before main eventing Aniversario. It doesn’t appear to be injury because he’s appearing twice in Texas this upcoming Saturday. We just saw with MechaWolf that CMLL will find a spot for any foreigners who are in, so Big Daddy appearing on nothing but a Friday show suggests he’s just not around now. There’s no sign of any falling out between CMLL & Big Daddy, so I’m not sure this means much.
I don’t think current CMLL is capable of making someone a big star in two weeks and I don’t think he’ll be able to do it on his own in matches. Maybe it’s fine in the way that this already not great. Big Daddy remaining a mystery man will inflate the perception among fans that CMLL put him in the match so they can have a nobody lose, but that was already there and I’m not sure if it’ll affect ticket sales. It would help if they got him over as a threat but I don’t think CMLL is interested in doing that either.
Hijo de Mano Negra says he’s debuting in Arena Mexico soon.
Daga confirmed he’s signed with Impact, though that’s only for the US and he’s still with AAA in Mexico.
AAA posted a promo with Octagon Jr. introducing himself. He says he’ll be on the Morelia show and Heroes Inmortales. There’s a mystery tecnico teaming with Pimpinela and Faby Apache, so that’s probably it for Morelia. No mention of New York.
+LuchaTV has their newest podcast. They talk about the music replacements on Sunday’s AAA show around 1h25m, not really happy about the changes.
Lineup
CMLL (SAT) 09/14/2019 Arena Coliseo
1) Bengala & Sonic vs Cholo & Yago

3) Átomo, Gallito, Microman vs Chamuel, Guapito, Perico Zakarías
4) Audaz, Guerrero Maya Jr., Volcano vs Cancerbero, Dark Magic, Raziel
5) Carístico, Stuka Jr., Valiente vs Cuatrero, Forastero, Sansón
6) Diamante Azul vs Negro Casas
This turned into Diamante Azul singles match weekend. I don’t think even Diamante Azul wants that.
CMLL (SUN) 09/15/2019 Arena México
1) Leono & Sangre Imperial vs Apocalipsis & Príncipe Odín Jr.
2) Angelito, Kaligua, Shockercito vs Pequeño Nitro, Pequeño Olímpico, Pequeño Violencia

4) Stuka Jr., Titán, Valiente vs Ephesto, Felino, Hechicero
5) Carístico, Soberano Jr., Volador Jr. vs Mephisto, Mr. Niebla, Terrible
6) Diamante Azul vs Último Guerrero
There are not many options for lucha libre on 09/15 but maybe a museum would be better than another Diamante Azul main event.
IWRG (MON) 09/16/2019 Arena Naucalpan
1) Acero II & Águila Oriental vs Biosfera & Príncipe Jr.
2) Ángel Dorado I, Galactus, Spider Fly vs Especie Maligna, Voltar, Voltex
3) Ángel Estrella Jr., Dinámico, Noise Boy vs Canival, Carnicero, Güero Palma
4) Atomic Star, Auzter, Cheff Benito, Chicanito, Death Metal, Mexica, Puma de Oro, Rey Halcón vs ?, Adrenalina, Canibal Jr., Dragón Fly, Guerrero Olímpico, Historico, Marado, Voraz [Torneo FILL 85]

6) Aramis, Imposible, Relámpago vs Cerebro Negro, Fly Warrior, Hijo de Canis Lupus
7) Dragón Bane © vs Toxin [IWRG REY DEL AIRE]
6th defense
Top few matches should look good and you have a usually interesting Copa Higher Power.
TAO (TUE) 10/01/2019 Arena Querétaro
1) Traidor & Zarpa De Tigre vs Ángel Rebelde & Lobo Lafayette and Bon Dracker & Hijo del Mosco X-Fly and Galáctico Dragón & Natague [? TAG]
2) Drabek I, Drabek II, Ursus vs Rey Toro I, Rey Toro II, Rey Toro III
3) Dulce Gardenia, Goya Kong, Halcón Negro Jr., Máscarita Sagrada vs Coquito Amarillo, Hijo Del Picudo, Tifany, Yuriko
4) Lizmark Jr., Mr. Águila, X-Fly vs Dark Cuervo, Dark Ozz, Dark Scoria
5) El Hijo Del Santo & Laredo Kid vs Black Taurus (Indie) & El Hijo del Solitario
Still intrigued by Santo’s bigger schedule. I do wonder if there’s a choice not to wrestle in Mexico City because there are enough goofy promotions that one would pay him to do it if the price has suddenly come down. Independent Goya Kong can work against Tiffany where AAA’s Goya Kong could not.
Lucha Libre Vanguardia (THU) 10/03/2019 Autolavado VM, Tulancingo, Hidalgo
1) Caballero Atena & Dayami vs Guerrero Sagrado Jr. & Zuzu Divine
2) Falcón Fire, Gasparin, Lobo Blanco, Rey Dragón, Símbolo Azteca vs Dragón Boy, Freyzer, Jeff Killer, Josh Snipper, Mr. Chivo
3) Colmillo Blanco, Dragón Latino, Tarasco vs Amo de la Noche, Bobby Cruz, Némesis
4) Calibus vs Aramis vs Draztick Boy vs Juventud Aerea [AEREO NACIONAL]
5) Aero Boy & Violento Jack vs Cíclope & Miedo Extremo and Crazy King & Lunatik Fly
Violento Jack returns to Mexico for one night only to team with Aero Boy again. These Vanguardia shows are interesting but we’ve only gotten to see brief clips of the last two shows on +LuchaTV, including a Virus singles match.
