May’s Chicago Lucha

A couple notable changes:

LVV is still Thursday. I am still going, though I may be hitchhiking home.

The Sunday Congress show may be off, according to a post on chicagowrestling‘s message board.

I can’t confirm that, but I can note Rob was sent the OELL Lineup for the following weekend, and it looks kinda similiar, main event wise.

OELL 05/15 (SUN) Congress Theatre, Chicago – 4:30 doors, 5:30 bell

1&2 (I think)) Latin Thunder, Infernale II, Buhha, Rudo Cortez, Payazo Krazie, Momia Azteca all appear
3) Alto & Discovery vs Great Milenko & Christopher Michaels
4) Mascarita Sagrada & Spiderboy vs Guerrerito del Futuro & Tyme Page
5) Cien Caras & Mascara Ano 2000 vs Pierroth & El Hijo de Pieroth

It’d be a huge surprise for them to do the same basic match two Sunday’s in a row in the same building; the 05/08 show would actually be the bigger one, with Unvierso and Perro involved, so it’d be even odder to do it in this order. You never know. I’ll let you know if they mention it on Thursday.

Complicating things is Ring Of Honor running Chicago Ridge on Saturday; the two groups ran against each other last year (was that the Ultimo/Rey vs Felino/Virus and Joe/Punk thing? Can’t remember, but you didn’t lose either way.) Their lineup
