1) Robin & Templario b Rocky Casas & Yago
Robin replaced Flyer. First match for the rudos in six months.
2) La Jarochita, Princesa Sugehit, Skadi b Dalys, La Seductora, Metálica
Tecnicas took 1/3. Jarochita replaced Estrellita on Wednesday (and maybe is a tecnica now?). She beat Seductora with a escalera.
3) Blue Panther, Fuego, Titán b Disturbio, Misterioso Jr., Sagrado
Tecnicos took 1/3. Panther’s reached 38 years of wrestling.
4) Mr. Niebla, Olímpico, Rey Bucanero b Guerrero Maya Jr., Rey Cometa, Stuka Jr.
Rudos took 2/3
5) Atlantis, Máximo Sexy, Mistico b Ephesto, Luciferno, Shocker
Tecnicos took 2/3.

A show which took place.

KDR (SAT) 10/08/2016 Arena San Juan Pantitlan, Ciudad Nezahualcóyotl, Estado de México [Black Terry Jr. (Flickr)]
1) Rey Celestial b Estrella De Oro
2) Arceus, Lunatick Extreme, Lunatik Fly DQ Mike, Rayo Star, Teelo
Arceus’ mask came off. Referee originally gave the wins into the Turtles.
3) Keira b Lilith Dark, La Magnifica
4) Ciclón Black DQ Criss Boy
5) Fly Warrior NC Black Terry
Bonus match, but Black Terry was hurt after taking a Fly Warrior dive and colliding head first into a chair. Match was stopped with Fly Warrior apologizing to the fans. Terry was said to be stable after, but needed three stitches.
6) Corsario Negro, Drako, Látigo b Kilvan, Shadow, Yoruba
Latigo replaced Toro Negro Junior. Demus & Akuma attacked La Resistencia after the match. Turned into a three way fight.
7) Extreme Tiger & Mr. Leo b Freelance & Rey Horuz Rey Horus y Freelance vs Extreme Tiger y Mr. Leo | Kamicazes del Ring | 08-10-16 (posted by TVLuchaMundial)

Black Terry was wrestling tonight in Naucalpan, so he must be OK.

Loaded show, but attendance was less than usual for the CaraLucha show. (They did seem to have sponsors, so maybe they didn’t get killed.) Weirdly, Toro Negro Jr. skipped out on his home arena show to be an extra guy on the Arena Neza show.

In the Arena Neza main event, Texano beat Pagano & Dr. Wagner by DQ when Monster & Murder Clown ran in. (Full results box.)

CMLL (SUN) 10/09/2016 Arena México [CMLL]
1) Astral & Eléctrico b Demus 3:16 & Pequeño Violencia
Pequeno Violencia replaced Pierrothito. Tecnicos took 1/3.
2) El Cuatrero, Sansón, Skándalo b Oro Jr., Pegasso, Robin
Rudos took 1/3.
3) Amapola, La Comandante, Tiffany b La Vaquerita, Lluvia, Silueta
Rudas took 2/3.
4) Johnny Idol, Stuka Jr., Titán b Bobby Z, Hechicero, Sam Adonis
tecnicos took 2/3
5) Diamante Azul, Marco Corleone, Máximo Sexy b Shocker, Terrible, Vangellys
Tecnicos took 2/3. Marco Corleone avoided a Shocker foul and pinned him.

Another show! CMLL’s recap teases Marco/Shocker as a hair match, but (spoiler) they’re not even matched up next week.

In a +LuchaTV interview, Mascara Dorada said he has a few dates left in CMLL and a surprise before he goes to the US.

CMLL hasn’t fixed the Cavernario participation. Best theory I heard (which I’m stealing from Rob.) was CMLL’s randomly decided Reyes del Aire is a championship now. That would mean someone is getting bumped. It would still be very dumb, and dumber in a different way for CMLL not to bother to explain the obvious thing that needs to be explained, but fitting in with CMLL’s usual poor communication.

Carisitco was back wrestling today, so his injury on Friday must’ve not be too severe.

The updated poster for the Elite 11/04 Toluca show has a surprise luchador replacing Strong Man. Guess it could still be Strong Man, but probably not. Elite also hinted this week’s show would be back in Mexico City.

AAA posted this week’s TV show, Heroes Inmortales part 1: the tag title match, the mixed trios, and the three way match.

AAA also posted a statement debunking the Televisa story about the first La Parka being in jail. (Though they imply the current La Parka is the only one.) The story seems to have evolved to this fake jailed Parka getting a tryout as the character after LA Park went to WCW, before AAA settled on the current guy. That’s unlikely, but not impossible. It doesn’t really correct the initial mistake, which said this guy was the original La Parka. LA Park’s angry reaction to this story has gotten picked up a lot in the lucha media, but it doesn’t seem like Televisa is backing off.

On a podcast, Sean Waltman called Dorian Roldan unprofessional and disrespectful for the way he deals with AAA talent. He cites making the wrestlers wait for hours in the office to get paid.

Konnan posted a new Podcast Boom. I have not listened to it yet, but RobViper did. He was very critical of La Parka complaining about Jack Evans comments, listing off many times where Parka privately got pushes curtailed. Konnan claimed Kahn-Del-Mal is not the cousin of Perro Aguayo Jr. as presented, but just a friend. He said Vampiro was the new agent in charge of finishes (he’s been at the last two major shows in that sort of role) and Jeff Hardy, Ryback or Cody Rhodes will be on the Crash show. It’s hard to figure how Ryback or Cody would appeal to usual lucha fans.

Lucha Underground’s NYCC Panel had a lot of stuff you may have previously heard/read in other interviews. The plan of taping for five months/touring for seven months brought up previously popped up here too, that sort of thing. I get frustrated reading about these big plans. I do understand these are things they are actually being worked on, that just talking about these plans will help them achieve them, and that the whole point of these sort of panels are talk about the plans for the future. (Vampiro and his vague posts of big news on Facebook is even worse.) But, as someone who follows this every day, it’s increasingly hard to take these ideas for the future seriously when they rarely appear as more than ideas for the future. Part of the job is talk about these plans, and people are going to keep asking, but it’s getting to the point where I’d rather never hear about LU’s plans for touring (to pick one) again – I just want to heard about if/when they finally have something set. They’re kind of the “boy who cried Netflix deal” at this point.

Lucha Memes has a 10/23 show in Coacalco (Chairo Bill Vol 2)
1: Titan (or probably a replacement) vs Sammy Guevara
2: Impulso vs Mike Segura
3: Alberto Dos Rios vs Negro Navarro
4: Dragon Lee vs Ronnie Mendoza
5: Keira vs Silueta

LuchaWorld has the latest news update.

Lucha Libre in Japan

10/07 REINA?: Aoi Kizuki & Sumrise Natus beat Heidi Katrina & Reyna Isis.

Lineup

CMLL (SAT) 10/15/2016 Arena Coliseo
1) Astral & Último Dragóncito vs Demus 3:16 & Pequeño Olímpico
2) Fuego, Leono, Oro Jr. vs Arkángel de la Muerte, Disturbio, Virus
3) Estrellita, La Jarochita, Sanely vs Dalys, La Seductora, Zeuxis
4) Blue Panther, Esfinge, Johnny Idol vs Bobby Z, Felino, Sam Adonis
5) Atlantis, Máximo Sexy, Valiente vs La Máscara, Mr. Niebla, Niebla Roja

A show! Maybe a storyline with Maximo in the main event. Idol & Adonis have gone to being forgotten to getting 3 matches a week. CMLL is weird.

CMLL (SUN) 10/16/2016 Arena México
1) Bengala & Sensei vs El Coyote & Grako
2) Soberano Jr., Star Jr., Starman vs El Cuatrero, Sansón, Skándalo
3) Esfinge, Hombre Bala Jr., Stigma vs Bobby Z, Sagrado, Virus
4) Blue Panther, Diamante Azul, Rey Cometa vs Kráneo, Sam Adonis, Vangellys
5) Ángel de Oro, Carístico, Marco Corleone vs La Máscara, Mr. Niebla, Último Guerrero

Caristico working a rare Sunday show. He’s usually booked somewhere else – and it sounds like he may already be booked in Naucalpan for Lucha Libre Boom, somehow the only guy who is double booked like that. The Shocker/Marco feud is randomly dropped.

CMLL (SUN) 10/16/2016 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) Avispón Negro Jr. & Micro vs Destello & Guerrero de la Muerte
2) Black Sugar & Capitán Cobra vs Gitano & Mr. Apolo
3) Frezzer vs Mágico
4) El Yaqui & Javier Cruz Jr. vs Évola & Exterminador
5) Flash II, Kempo Dragón, Star Black vs Joker, Príncipe Kisho, Terremoto King Jr.

Main event brings back the Sinaloa luchadors, on both sides of the match. Terremoto King hasn’t been around in a year. Semimain is billed as a rematch, tercera is an odd tecnico/tecnico match.
