Dr. Cerbero beat Caifan and Black Terry went to a draw with Hechicero in the two big singles matches from last night’s ChilangaMask show. Both were said to be very good. Results from TerceraCaida are here; I’ll go over them again after LuchaMania posts their report

Ultimo Guerrero was listed for weeks as challenging Dr. Wagner for the IWL title in Merida yesterday. Ultimo Guerrero was asked about the match by Fuego en el Ring and straightforwardly said he was not going to be in Merida. Yesterday in Merida, Dr. Wagner Jr. faced…Ultimo Guerrero. Wagner won by DQ when UG fouled him in the third. There’s no pictures of Guerrero and the only report is by the newspaper who was heavily involved in promoting the show, so something strange might have been going on – something strange definitely went on here, I guess that part is for sure.

Ultimo Guerrero helps defend the trios titles tonight in Puebla. It’s the Guerreros versus Atlantis, Valiente and Maximo. A title change is not impossible, but unlikely.

Sangre Azteca told Fuego en el Ring he was originally expecting to be out at least a year after his knee injury, but they found it was not as bad during the operation and he’s hoping to return by the end of the year. He’s back to walking without assistance and returning to training.

On this week’s MLW Radio, Konnan confirms Hugo Savinovich is one of the announcers for Lucha Underground on El Rey. AAA wanted him on that broadcast. Konnan also mentioned Lucha Underground had him do promos in English for El Rey and then again in Spanish for Unimas.

LuchaWorld has KrisZ’s news update.

Rob has highlights of 07/01/14 CMLL.

This week’s Super Libre had Flash & Espectro Jr. as in studio guests.

Segunda Caida reviews 10/18/14 Uprising: Lucha Libre and a review of Cachorro versus Virus.

Tigre Rojo Jr. beat Toro Bill Jr. in a bloody match in Puebla.

  1. They must’ve added those later in the morning. Fuego en el Ring has a recap too with UG. I wonder what happened there.
