CMLL.com confirms Mistico’s injury in Guadalajara yesterday. It is a fractured collarbone, and he’ll be out at least three months.
The big news here is, next time, they’ll be able to run an actual return show. No word on his replacement for Friday. It would seem like they have to change the card order.
CMLL.com also says Garza had an operation on his right knee, “due to the attack by Mr. Niebla & and Negro Casas” on Friday. That Perros run in is still odd. He’ll be about at least three weeks.

We might even kiss the anniversary show sellout goodbye as well… at least with jacked up prices, they were surely going to do another Wagner vs Mistico masks match tease for the multiman main event at Anniv, but now that’s gone, and I don’t see CMLL hiring LA Park or Hijo del Santo to do it with Wagner, Mr Niebla’s thing is gone, so their only chance would be teasing Atlantis vs Wagner, but it wouldn’t be that big compared to 4 years ago.
This is semi-facetious, but if everyone hates Mistico so much, shouldn’t this make no difference?

Well: everyone hates Mistico, they do a cage match with a bunch of guys, everyone runs in expecting to see Wagner taking Mistico’s mask, cage match ends with Villano and Panther, but the crowd bought the tickets anyways. You take Mistico out of the picture, it doesn’t work the same since Atlantis or Mr Niebla are not hated that much.
Rob, you should not really worry about a guy who posts that he just saw the original Payasos working in Puebla while bashing the Psycho Circus.
I would hope Panther vs. Villano or multi-man stip match would sellout. I’ll see for myself in just four weeks.

Konnan said this while doing commentary while he was beating Chessman up just before Chessies infamous fall to the table. It sounded very much like Konnan was shooting. I’ll go back and listen in Spanish to hear how it sounds in that language.

That makes no sense at all. If it was so, “the crowd” would be booing Sombra de Plata or Apokalipsis just as bad… and it wouldn’t be happening all over Mexico. CMLL dropped the ball, what they did to put him over backfired, they used the homeless boy story to get him mainstream exposure, but now everyone sees him as a fake and even worse Fray Tormenta is the one getting the exposure now days and taking hits at ‘tico every chance.
Guys being booed has happened all the time, Shocker and Atlantis come to mind, but while they took goofy stances at it, ‘tico has been mocking the fans and cutting promos bashing them, obviously CMLL are idiots for letting him speak by himself but CMLL can’t put decent storylines up, much less handle Mistico.
