CMLL (MON) 08/05/2013 Arena Puebla [Periodico Enfoque, Porra Fresa]
1) Black Tiger & Meyer DQ Centauro de Fuego & Espanto Jr.

Tercera Caida airs today at 6pm, with special guest Horuz.  Fusion is scheduled for Thursday at 11pm.

Texano Jr. notes Psycho Clown has not beat him and will not beat him.

R de Rudo interviews the Morenos and Hieloco getting into trouble.

Ohtani’s Jacket has the second part of his CMLL catchup.

Space Cadetes and Stigma point at the camera in a generic interview. I don’t think Starman even gets quoted.

A Merida lucahdor might be suspended for attacking a reporter, except the commission doesn’t actually have power to suspend him.

WWL says they’ve signed Hijo del Dos Caras, who was wrestling unmasked in WWE development before being cut. He’ll be masked here. You can go farther just by being related to someone in Mexico than in the US.

A bonus episode of MLW Radio lists “A CMLL talent considers jumping to AAA”, but that’s literally the extent of the discussion. No name or hint of such. It’s mentioned in passing while talking about other stuff. Konnan does say the Santo was given a big advance for the show in Denver he didn’t appear on due to injury and didn’t send the money back after he knew he wasn’t going to appear, and explains LA Park tried to steal the pin over Kurt Angle last year on TripleMania.

Lineups

CMLL (MON) 08/12/2013 Arena Puebla
1) Águila Egipcia & Bengala vs Akuma & Ares
2) Asturiano, Pegasso, Starman vs Fuerza Chicana, Hooligan, Siki Osama
3) Delta, Guerrero Maya Jr., Rey Cometa vs Boby Zavala, Namajague, Shigeo Okumura
4) Blue Panther, Máximo, Rush vs Averno, Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas
5) Euforia, Gran Guerrero, Último Guerrero vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Pólvora, Rey Escorpión

A very good looking show!

CMLL (TUE) 08/13/2013 Arena Mexico
1) Bengala & Metatrón vs Espanto Jr. & Guerrero Negro Jr.
2) Dalis la Caribeña, Goya Kong, Luna Mágica vs La Comandante, La Vaquerita, Tiffany
3) Ángel de Oro, Stuka Jr., Titán vs Boby Zavala, Misterioso Jr., Sangre Azteca
4) Eléctrico vs Pequeño Nitro [MEX LIGHT, final]
vacant championship
5) Euforia, Gran Guerrero, Niebla Roja vs Dragón Rojo Jr., Pólvora, Taichi
6) Último Guerrero vs Rey Escorpión

Zavala and Taichi should switch places, but whoever’s put this together has already forgotten Zavala was supposed to be associated with Rey Escorpion and the Revolucinarios. It’s worth it if we get Taichi in Revolucinarios gear.

Electrico is the favorite in the title match.

CMLL (TUE) 08/13/2013 Arena Coliseo Guadalajara
1) Astral & Shockercito vs Pequeño Olímpico & Pequeño Violencia
2) Black Metal, Starman, Stigma vs Bárbaro Cavernario, Disturbio, Ráfaga
3) Diamante, Rey Cometa, Sagrado vs Felino, Puma, Tiger
4) Atlantis, Diamante Azul, Super Porky vs Mr. Niebla, Negro Casas, Pierroth
5) La Máscara vs Mephisto [MEX LH]
La Mascara is champion, tenth defense (though first known one since January)

Title changes seem very unlikely until after the Universal tournament but, if Lyger isn’t coming, they only have 15 champions for 16 spots. La Mascara is still trios champion, so Mephisto winning would create a 16th entrant. They could also accomplish similar things by changing the trios titles.

IWL (TUE) 08/27/2013 Arena Aficion
1) Babel, Corcel Infernal, Medics I vs As Jr., Centinela, Gato Salvaje
2) Chamuel vs Guapito, Gallito Feliz
3) Arkanos vs Shadow, Metaleon, Fly Metalik, Fly Warrior, Fly Star, Quimico Jr., Peligro, Ninja de Fuego, Peligro, Kid Jaguar, Medics III, Perico [IWL INTERNET, TLC]
4) Infierno Kid, Ojo Diabolico, Sepulturero I vs Aeroboy, Demente Extreme, Hormiga and ATM, ATM Gold, ATM Super M
5) Carta Brava Jr. I, Cerebro Negro, Fantasma de la Ópera vs Ángel o Demonio, León Rojo, Obett and ?, Súper Pinocho, Súper Ratón and ??, Loco Max, Tony Rivera
6) Dr. Wagner Jr., Huracan Ramirez, Súper Muñeco vs Canek, Super Crazy, Zumbido

There’s no mystery people actually listed in the semimain, but I’m assuming the match makes sense. May be wrong.

This card is mostly interesting in “Super Crazy actually comes back to Mexico at some point!” news.

I forgot to list the current IWL Internet Champion. If you can name him without looking it up, you get a gold star.

  1. Tritón… please get out of that group and embrace your roots. You are an aquatic creature: “messenger of the sea”… A son of Poiseidon!

I know the suits and the t-shirts are cool and that there are no limits to the spirit and your will can be strong and wara wara wara but… look at what this space oddity is doing to your record. :(

  2. I don’t think I’ve ever seen Super Muñeco vs. Super Crazy or Canek. Not that it would be great…
I’m glad they’re doing Revolucionarios vs. Guerreros right now. It changes things up a bit.
