This is theoretically a Sin Limite taping, but it was left unsaid.
Air Date: 07/13 – and maybe only one week? This seems like a taping where the top 2 matches air on the national show and the other three turn up on UTDN (which is supposed to be for Evolution only now, but c’mon now.)
working AAA TV scheduled for the next few weeks
06/22 & 06/29: TripleMania XXI airs for free
07/06: Leon (just 1 week?)
07/13: Ecatepec
07/20: Tehuacan
This is the AAA taping scheduled on the same day as a WWL’s show in Monterrey. AAA is sending a lot of star people to that show, which meant this one would be lesser than usual. It did turn out that way, but there’s a slight problem: La Parka (and Eita) are listed as working both shows! Parka is part of a an all-star Team Mexico to face a Team Puerto Rico; it’s Cibernetico, Perro & Parka on the certain to fail AAA team. AAA could probably just send Electroshock to the WWL show or have him replace Parka here, but some change is happening. Same thing with Eita – maybe Yuta or Douki or Hanaoka end up teaming with Tomahawk in Monterrey or maybe a random Perros del Mal member ends up here.
Sadly, there’s no silhouette of the mystery person this time for us to examine. It’s a spot for a Consejo guy or an old guy. V4 is in WWL, so that would leave Canek (who would be definitely advertised) or a Dinamtia (who might not be.) I guess it’s possible it’s something to follow up on TripleMania, but nah. I dunno, it’s another Consejo vs Psycho Circus match, I’m not really excited about it. The rest of the card is exciting.
If Parka and Parka Negra want to brawl into the crowd in the semimain again while the other four have a match, that would be totally cool. Semimain superstar Eterno is a sign they’re kind of strapped for people on this show but is also cool. Eterno is in a higher spot than Daga – maybe he won the feud after all! – and is essentially getting the spot Damian walked out about his son Bestia not getting. It’s probably just for one night and then back to the early matches for him.
There was a Mirreyes vs Perros del Mal feud before TripleMania, but the match setting it up never aired on TV. Perhaps it’ll be restarted here. Perros del Mal seem to be low on people – Halloween’s on the Fusion show but that’s a rare appearance of late. Japonesa del Mal member Eita is a fine fill-in.
Segunda match looks amazing. And opener could be good fun.
This is a good show and I’m hoping WWL continues to exist if AAA ends up with lineups like this. It’s not going to draw great but there are other problems there. It funny for the Psycho Circus to have lost to the WWL/TNA team at TripleMania, and then put up as the top tecnicos on AAA’s first two post-TripleMania tapings. It doesn’t quite fit.
