This is the last show before a game of musical chairs breaks out in Monterrey. AAA jumps to Arena Solidaridad. Arena Solidaridad currently hosts the CMLL affiliated Lucha Libre VIP promotion, which will take over Arena Coliseo Monterrey. Got it? I’ve lost track of how many times AAA’s left ACM in the last few years, so it’s tough to believe this won’t get changed again in the next six months.
Which building is bigger? I think it’s ACM but I’m not sure.
Arturo Rivera’s column in Ovaciones talks about this situation and the Moreno’s status with AAA. The lone lucha article is a preview today’s Arena Mexico card, focusing on the Villanos. It’d be nice if they started posting these article to their website again.

Villano 3 fouled Negro in the main event, covered him, the ref counted the pin, and then gave the tecnicos the win. Rudos won the fourth match in straight falls.

5) Destroyer, Fuego Negro, Super Mascara DQ El Guerrero, Pocima, Rey Tigre
I think that’s the ex-Eclipse, still wrestling back in Acapulco. It looks like the same Rey Tigre mask in the picture.
Looks like TripleMania tickets are on TicketMaster, though it’s past the on sale date and they’re not available to purchase. Tickets are already on sale for next Friday’s Arena Mexico show (hair match, tag title match), and prices are up 140 pesos ($13) for the closest seats. They also started putting Tuesday Arena Mexico shows on sale at some point.
El_Blue @ El Martiente posted the cover of Record Luchas #1, the new magazine put out by Record which was released yesterday but is offically launching with their show at Arena Mexico tomorrow. The review says it’s light on results and heavy on interviews and stories.
Rossy Moreno did another “I’m leaving AAA” video interview, this time with Box Y Lucha.
Rey Misterio Jr. revealed how he got his Louis Vuitton mask to Reforma (via Jazz): his wife bought a Louis Vuitton bag and they cut it up to use it as mask. Rey figures it’s legal because they never say how they have to use the bag.

Triplemania tickets are said to range from 150 to 950, which is kind of normal for AAA, I tought Palacio would command a higer price tag…
Rumor, and I MEAN RUMOR from elmartinete says Bret Hart will be introducing Hart/Evans team at the show (nah!)
Pappas Broadcasting is filing for bankruptcy for several of it’s stations. Both TuVision affiliates are listed. TuVision airs IWRG on weekends.
That has to be someone else doing the Rey Tigre gimmick or holy shit did Eclipse shrink after getting off the roids.
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh…
AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY CUBS!!!:D:D:d
Shitty I had to find out in that awful Wiki thread over on ByL but what can you do. I’ll make a reminder for next year!
So will AAA sellout the Palacio for their debut?
I was thinking of believeable excuses as to why Triplemana is not on PPV. “The Palacio wanted too much money for the righs fee to transmit for there”.
Actually, they can put something together for SKY with ten days notice.
Chui I’ll agree with you that this is most likely a rumor. I highly doubt that Brett Hart, in this stage of his life, would go all the way to Mexico just to introduce two wrestlers for a AAA show.
We Canadians are sending him on a goodwill mission. Just like when we sent him to stop the war in Africa.
I’d beileve Bret Hart going to AAA before I think CMLL will let Mistico go to TNA or Latin Lover main event another AAA show.
That would be cool as hell to have Bret Hart in AAA even if it is to introduce Jack and Teddy.
And if I am a betting man, $5 say Teddy Hart will be back in WWE before years end.
there is no way WWE brings him back. TNA maybe, only b/c he was fired for punching CM Punk in a diner and CM Punk isnt with the company anymore. but WWE wont bring him back, especially since he cant be trusted on live tv. he’s banned from ROH, basically JAPW and AAA are the only places he can wrestle on a regular basis.
If the WWE can forgive Jeff Hardy, Sable and Bret Hart (or should I say Vince), somewhere the WWe will forgive Teddy.
I still think they are going to go through with the Hart Foundation 2.0 deal and Bret will have something to do with it. If not, I’ll admit I was wrong.
Nattie Niedhart is already up, they already broke up the Stampede Bulldogs, and Harry Smith is on very thin ice with the company, they think T.J. Wilson is too small and they have no current use for him. and Teddy isnt with the company. Hart Foundation 2.0 has been scrapped. they are talking about teaming Wilson and Matt Sydal, but nothing has happened with that yet and may not. Bret Hart wants nothing to do with the company, even though he is on limited speaking terms with them, McMahon only let Sable come back to generate money, and Jeff Hardy is a drug addict and they know it, but they like his brother and they continue to give him chances b/c of Matt. Randy Savage will appear on WWE TV and be forgiven before Hart Foundation 2.0 occurs.
i stopped watching wwe/(f) after mr. aguila left. still, as a calgarian, this is disappointing news about the harts gen 2.
They don’t give Jeff chances because “they like his brother”.
Watch X-Pac get a shot only because Vince paid for his rehab, and now must see a return-on-investement.
When Vince sees Teddy on tv and pushed as a star, he’ll want him because that’s how wrestling people are. TNA may also want him just for being “a star” in AAA.
i wrote that they keep giving him chances b/c of his brother. not that they dont give him chances. also, Vince McMahon doesnt watch AAA. and i wouldnt call Teddy Hart a star of the promotion either. he’s never main evented, and i really dont see him feuding with Cibernetico or La Parka anytime soon and being in main event matches at the big shows.
