10/25: Demon, Monterrey, Colombia

In today’s Ovaciones, Blue Demon Jr. appeals for a mask match versus Santo. Well, he is in that tounament. Good luck on that. Demon Jr. says he’s going to put Espectro Jr.’s mask in a gallery and it doens’t sound like that gallery has anything to do with the Blud Demon store. (Does that still exist?)

I am told this is Colombia’s biggest show of the year. I can’t get the link to the promotion’s website to work, but there’s a very information rich blog associated with the promotion you ought to check out.

Am I the last person to realize luchaworld is way updated and looking great?

  1. Lucha Libre on KWHY did a 2.1 HH rating. Not bad.

In Mexico, on Galavision 9, both groups are averaging in the 6.0 range. Some weeks can do as high as a 9 or 10 when there is no soccer, and a big show like Triplemania airs. In Argentina, 100% Lucha gets about a 6.0 which explains why it has been around for some time now. FSE CMLL gets about a .5 Hispanic cable rating. That’s not bad for FSE. It’s about 40,000 homes and not too bad for a show that gets bumped.

  2. Which lucha show did the 2.1 rating? The CMLL Guadalajara one (1st show) or the IWRG one (2nd show)? The IWRG show was awful. It will be interesting if they’ll switch between the two groups.

    Cubs-Thanks for noticing!;)

  3. The IWRG show did the 2.1 HH rating. Houston and San Francisco ratings for IWRG will be out soon.

I am predicting an 11 rating for the CMLL PPV airing in Galavision in Mexico. I’m wondering if those numbers Konnan gives Meltzer are perhaps the “shares” instead of HH ratings.

  4. Daniel: Abismo/Neibla won’t show up because they are either in weekly Rehab, Fat camp or Shooting Up heroin and Cocaine.

  5. Hey Robert, I was just watching a bunch of your videos from LLL 52MX. Great stuff. Do you have any ENESMA stuff on youtube? I keyword: ‘ed it and did not find.

  6. Are Abismo, and Niebla injured?

We all know the story with Mesias, whats up with Abismo and Niebla?

  7. They’ve been in/out of rehab and on/off the wagon all year. Lots of missed shows – Abismo just missed the last TV taping.

  8. Great! Now Amy Winehouse’s Rehab song will be running in my head everytime I see Abismo
and Niebla. If they show up for tv tapings at all.

“They tried to make us go to rehab. We said no,no,no.”
