Atlantis was about to meet certain and terrible doom at the hands of Wagner and Panther, but Ultimo yanked both masks to end the match in DQ. Recap notes Atlantis and Ultimo were celebrating like two men who had no idea they were booked to face each other next week.
Emilio faked a foul for the win, and they set up the hair/mask match after. Emilio’s losing next week and it could not be more obvious. Don’t over think it.
CMLL recap said the segunda tecnicos were like men from a planet people can fly. Ramstein is using the Canadian Destroyer – don’t be that guy.

Hirooki Goto beat Hajime Ohara in the main event of an 09/08 Toryumon (Ulitmo Dragon) Japan show. Still doesn’t seem like Dragon’s version Toryumon is running regularly, so Ohara is probably back in Mexico soon. After the match, Goto handed the NWA International Junior Heavyweight Title back to Ultimo Dragon. Part of me wonders why they bothered to bring back a long dead title and run a tournament for it if they never were going to do anything with it (Ohara/Goto wasn’t a title match), but another part is thrilled they did a skit with Goto publicly vacating it, so he’s not a ghost champion for the next 14 years or how ever long till they feel like running another random tournament.
