CMLL (TUE) 05/08/2012 Arena Mexico [CMLL, Kaiser Sports]
1) Robin & Soberano Jr. DQ Apocalipsis & Cholo
Apocalipsis took Robin’s mask.
2) Lluvia, Luna Mágica, Silueta b La Seductora, Lady Afrodita, Tiffany
Tecnicas took 1/3. Luna beat Seductora, Silueta defeated Afrodita.
3) Cancerbero, Raziel, Virus b Ángel Azteca Jr., Hombre Bala Jr., Titán
Rudos took 1/3. Hombre Bala Jr. hurt his neck, was strechered out. What an unlikely occurrence for the bulletman! Raziel beat Titan for the win.
4) Dragon Lee b Puma King [En Busca de un Idolo]
said to be good.
5) Pólvora b Triton [En Busca de un Idolo]
6) Ephesto, Euforia, Mephisto b Hijo del Fantasma, Super Porky, Valiente
Mephisto beat Brazo de Plata with a La Rosa.
7) Diamante Azul, La Sombra, Máscara Dorada DQ Kráneo, Mr. Águila, Psicosis
Tecnicos took 2/3. Psicosis fouled Mascara Dorada in the third.

Attendance looked poor. I’ve enjoyed some of the Invasors matches, but they’re pretty clearly the worst draw of the top rudo gangs.

2) Dragón Celestial, Sky Ángel, Volaris b Guerrero 2000, Matrix Jr., Power Full
Power Full replaced Black Solider.
3) Acero, Carma, Leroy b Kortiz, Negro Casasola, Templario
Gym Trauma beats Gym Villano
4) Chicano, Golden Magic, Pacto Negro b Batman del Futuro, Guerrero Mixteco, Star Boy Jr.
Gym FILL beats Gym Rivera.
5) Star Boy & Tony Rivera b Black Terry & Temerario Infernal
Bloody match. Star Boy Jr. used a ref distraction to sneak in and foul Infernal. Matrix Jr. – revealed to be Infernal’s son (!) – ran in after the match to attack Star Boy Jr., which cued a gym vs gym fight.

Cool picture from Arena Coliseo Guadalajara, though no results. I’ve found it’s not too hard to find pictures from shows (or before shows), but almost no fan in Mexico tweets results for any show.

Zumbi has gone back to Brazil.

On an interview with Figure Four Daily, Sami Callihan mentioned he’s returning to Mexico for Lucha POP as part of the August Lucha Libre Expo.

Head Hunter replaces Zumbi? Looks like Trauma I vs Super Nova is being built towards here. 14K & Super Sasuke are two of the indy Japanese wrestlers on next week’s Lucha Fan Fest show. I’ve only seen one match from this taping turn up in the months they’ve been running it, but I believe only the top two air
